Cale please stop posting in this thread. You left the RP, you have no point to be here beyond to cause more arguments. And as I said I will tone down the shields, please stop bringing it up. The issue has been adressed and there is no reason to keep debating it unless you want to murder the poor, poor OOC.

Not exactly. When I was stirring up an argument it was directed right at you. But mainly my posts have now consisted of "My posts are not all about you Duck, so ignore me like you said you would 50 times in the past" and stating logic and facts, however such things may not effectively work in such a Magic Over Powered scifi world where technology can not beat magic. But still, magic or not, for technology one needs environmental shields of the strongest variety to protect against radiation. And environmental shields consume an immense amount of power compared to the standard shield that absorbs heat i.e. lasers and ordinance.

Duck if you are unable to keep your word from before then I apologize, because I really don't care about you nor have I been attempting to communicate with you. If you dislike the fact I agree with others, which does not directly make me against you, but results that way, well boo hoo. I'm not here to shun you or choke you to death. It's just the truth, and the truth hurts. If it hurts that bad maybe you need to seek counseling.

If you want me gone have Keyguy tell me to leave.

I am now locking myself out of posting for at least two posts from other players. Even my other character who's post is currently in stasis
Tiberius became a little upset, “No Ghes! I don’t want to make you or your men do heavy lifting. As an embassy I see it as a formality. An Embassy on each others planets, where you have your rules on my planets, and my rules on yours, all in a little box. But the point would be so that you could recruit. I wouldn’t do much recruiting as I’d be using a Clone Army, but this would also help get the word out that Mandalore is growing and reaching new stars. Whether or not the clones would be trained by mandalorians or not would be up to you, as I would most likely just have the Clones trained normally. But what I need from you… is your dreadnought in the Main Fleet. It can sit at the back, just help with the enemies command ships. My fleet will try to take care of the smaller things but their boarding parties are going to be trouble, so could I maybe get some mandalorians on the ships as well, for defense?” The old man took a breath, watching as a few soldiers on a patrol walked by. “In the war zones of the planets when I try to get bacta and cloning technology, you could even make it so your mando’s lead a squad, one commando to a squad, that way your mens lives aren’t threatened. I just need cover fire, you see? I don’t want to make the Mandalorians do anything critical unless they themselves feel the need to. But if I don’t have some expert help, they may make a push. We don’t know how many Command Ships they have, and we need to strike.”

“You realize that if these forces are as big as you say they are, I’m going to need to draft the regulars as well not just the super commandos.” He was right to want to use the Pride of Mandalore however. One thing that the ships in the galaxy still had poor defences for, Missiles and the Kandosii dreadnought boasted an impressive array of missile silos. “All right, but I need to see fleet dispositions and compositions and at least a week to mobilise my guys. No more no less, and everything will go out at once. I’ll also be assigning high ranking officers to each of the ground missions who will take over all command if you want their experience and training, something most your people lack. I’ll also assign someone to each fleet to manage all the anti-boarding operations. In payment. I want enough droids to get my own shipyards up to scratch. Right now we can only kick out fighters I want to start on the bigger stuff. Then after that we can talk about a base for your clones, and training them as you’ll need someone to do it.” He said the last sentence with a sigh at the end, besides. When Tiberius had no more need for them he could always taken them in, plenty more able hands were always welcome.

“The first wave on Thyferra will be commanded by my First Officer. They will give you cover so you can land. When I say cover, I mean they will be shielding themselves from the enemy weapons and turrets that will be opening fire as soon as the blast doors open, if they open. There won’t be much assistance from the sky as the ships will be blockading the planet. I will also give you your Dreadnoughts and one of my HT-2200’s. If you want a Mobquet, we’ll have to talk after this is all over.” He said, smiling, “And whether or not you believe me, you’re not a tool I can use. I’m not like the fabled Sith, but I’m also not a Republic. However I never cross a friend.” A smirk came from his face as he reached his hand out in a shaking gesture.

Ghes shrugged. “I don’t care so much about the HH. Though I’ll take the Dreadnoughts, and I’ll not be paying for them due to my fee. Also I don’t care if you’re just using me, I’m getting paid. Mandalore is benefiting that is all that matters.” He shook the mans hand. “I expect you’ll send all the necessary data to my ship before I depart? I’ll have a meeting with the clan leaders this evening and then get back to you tomorrow with how many forces I’ll be sending and how I’ll position them amongst your fleets. If Thyferra is the first engagement I’ll be leading the Mandalorians down on the surface personally. If that is all settled then, I need to get back Mandalore. There is a lot to discuss.”

Tiberius gave a quick nod. “And I’m nearly late for one last meeting today. Everything will be relayed to you before your departure, and I will send the ships you requested in fleet formation for their hyperjump along with one of my own so the minimal crew can have safe passage home. Good luck Ghes, and thank you.”

The Tsar Bomb released approximately 240 petajoules of explosive energy upon being detonated, which is roughly 240 petawatts worth of power if the measurement units were flipped. Petawatt-range lasers exist today, but they're only active for picoseconds (one trillionth of a second) at a time, and therefore would make inadequate weapons despite the staggering amounts of power that they consume. Not enough dwell time; a weapons-grade petawatt laser with a dwell time measured in seconds would have me question what sort of unobtainable you've constructed such a beast from and how you've mastered heat sink technology to keep this weapon from melting itself with each firing. If your shields can endure Tsar Bomb nuclear weapons at point-blank ranges with impunity, laser weaponry, particle weaponry, plasma weaponry, and railgun weaponry is completely useless against EU shielding. There needs to be restrictions placed on magic, because this is ridiculous. EMPs shouldn't be a viable weapon against a starship. You're traveling in an intergalactic spacecraft that must brave vast amounts of radiation and other hazards as it moves through the void; spacecraft and electronics can be hardened against EMPs by forgoing silicon-based electrical systems (fiber optic technology, vacuum tubes, analog systems), simply possessing thick hulls wrapped in dense materials or shielding their viable electronic systems using a faraday cage. There are also other factors at play when discussing the effectiveness of an EMP, such as environment and the inherent low effective range an EMP would have. An EMP will disrupt a ship's sensors, however.This.I hope Wilsonpai will notice me.If this were true, space combat wouldn't exist.

Sadly, your argument is invalid because Duck + Magic = Whatever Duck wants.

So if I'm reading this right...... Duck has shields that allow him to be moving gods in space with nukes, rail-guns, and mach cannons. Should I bow down to his Empire now or later? Shame.... I had so man fun ideas, but I guess I shall die before I land on planet. By the way we have to keep in mind that we are talking about his scout ships that have the shield capacity of a dreadnaught class Covenant super carrier. So is High Charity the rest of his fleet or something even worse?

Bruyh, your sig. It is godly.

Also, the dreadnoughts are planet killers, fyi. The baby ships he uses to bombard planets and fight super dreads

It's the bad part of allowing magic in scifi. Sad, but true.
Sep said a lot of planets are in the wrong place and some aren't even on the map

The nuke have to be the size and yield of a Tsar Bomba to do anything to those shields. In my opinion at least nukes become pretty outdated when you have shields.

Wrong. Unless you have extremely strong environmental shields, your crew becomes radiated and start to die from radiation poisoning

Draconians are a species that has been both technologically and evolutionized to be in combat, whether to hunt or to fight with guns and such. Draconians are, most often, at a height of Draconians also sport scales- while before they were used in being protected from water and fire, small sticks and the like, they also accept metals, in which the Draconians digest in a separate stomach, that thicken and strengthen the scales. Titanium and aluminum lead to light, strong scale, while iron, steel, and other metals like that lead to heavy thick scales. Draconians are hunters- they see well both in light and in the dark, and sport several different membranes that they can cover their eyes with that can act anywhere from primitive binoculars, to sunglasses. Their eyes are reptillian, and they've got claws on every hand. They live up to one hundred human years- nearly two hundred cycles in comparison. Most often, they'll wear what you see in the above picture, except with far stronger materials, as a sort of proud-for-our-ancestors kind of thing. Only infantry wear exoskeletons, or the Space Marines.Republic - Instead of taking votes from everywhere, some Draconians gather support from their fellows, and they elect him as a Representative, which goes to a lower council. The Lower Council is a very large council that is in many areas- they make the little decisions, and pass things on up if they're too big. The Medium Council is smaller, with only a few that extend over many areas, and they take care of more important decisions. The Higher Council is a single, powerful group that makes decisions that affect the entire nation.Infantry is the Draconians' least powerful section of the three primary combat branches, sporting a variety of genetically-engineered beasts, from Hunters, who are large dog-like creatures with six legs, very strong and very fast. They've got everything from what's essentially sea dragon eggs that they can drop into the seas of their enemies, and destroy naval trade, to what are essentially really smart spinosaurus's, just for the fear effect. Most of these creatures are armed with embedded shield projectors, that run off the body energy and heat. The more something gets shot, even with the projector, the weaker it'll get, since shooting the shield is drawing on the creature's energy. The actual troops of the Infantry are just Draconians as combat controllers, and a creature they train against, most commonly called "Six-Arms." they're just like Draconians, except instead of scales they've got a crocodile like hide, and they've got six arms, which can wield handguns, swords, etc. Space Marines are the only part of the infantry that serves on spaceships, and the only ones that are composed entirely of Draconians. The Mechanized is less focused upon by the Draconians, for reasons pertaining to the upkeep of what they already have. They use walkers- big ones. They don't like being in small spaces, even less so when that small space is in an even more fragile small vehicle. Most walkers are from the height of a two-story building to a 5-story building. They're armed to the teeth, and because of the size, they each have a variety of items onboard, from a small antimatter reactor, to mortars, lasers, autocannons, and missile systems. The biggest walker is the Command Walker Central, or CWC. It stands at five stories tall, and only has a few weapons. It's got powerful shields, and it has a very powerful radar, scanning, and communications technology. Very hard to crack, but you won't have much resistance. The smallest is the Mobile Combat Controller, which is two stories tall, and two can be deployed from the CWC. These act as waypoints for the information sent from the CWC, and have powerful 3-D mapping systems. They have almost no armor, and they have medium strength shields. They're faster, and they're armed with jumpjets and what's essentially called a "Electron Puncher," which has the effect of very powerfully sending a small shockwave towards something- enough to smash a tank in one shot. It needs charge-up time, and it can't map while it's charging. The most expensive, the most expansive, and the most powerful of the three combat branches, the Spaceforce-Airforce combined shortly after the Draconians ascended into the skies. All fighters and bombers are atmospheric- it may dampen their effectiveness, but it also gives them a strategic advantage, where spaceborn enemies can't reach them, nor can ground anti-air. Technological Overview:Cultural Overview: To put it simply, they are a very proud warrior race. They respond to respect and power, not being nice or generous. They themselves might be generous, but they do it to one whom they respect. They celebrate victory, mourn defeat, and learn from both. They are not foolish- they our proud. They'll learn, and may get into a fight if they know they can win. They will gladly call for war against a race that is either weak or disgraceful, but if they prove to be worthy of respect, they will ceasefire, and reconsider. History: Draconians have long memories, and long grudges. But, everyone they have a grudge with is dead. From the very beginning, they fought for their lives, Not in a way that the humans did, or any other. Their planet was a giant brawling mass, where the fiercest, the strongest survive. The Draconians had already evolved into fighting beasts by the time they were learning to speak, having to fight against monsters that were both bigger and smaller than they were. Even the plants sometimes tried to eat them; everything grew quickly, and lasted as long as it possibly could. Dying of old age was unheard of as the Draconians got smarter and smarter, and they spent night and day on alert. Disease never ran rampant in this world- the strong survived, and so viruses never had anywhere to go. For some time, they spent in a sort of evolutionary stasis, fighting and fighting and fighting, trapping and always using their claws to rend flesh. And then a disgrace, an outcasted Draconian, always left behind when they went hunting, wanted to be safe. Not in their primitive huts- he knew that never had any of their enemies been underground. And so he dug, He looked down, dug, and found stone. He looked at this stone, looked at the vines on the trees, and the fallen branches, and made an axe. That very same axe is still preserved today in the most prominent Battleship-X. After that, the Draconians scrambled to make new weapons, to come at their enemies with these weapons. They destroyed their enemies, and they loved doing so, until they had cleared the australia-sized continent they lived on. There was a massive growth spurt; they covered the coasts all along. Here, they began to fish. They made boats, the rushed out to sea, and learned the passive side to life. Before, aggression and brutality ruled. Here, they would die if they put it aside, and so would everyone else. Here, they learned balance.Shortly afterwards, they began to make bigger ships, and set sail for other lands. Some never returned; only two of the dozen did. They brought back animals, and the smart captains were rewarded with the first farms, the first animal farms. They were the pioneers; they made the first grain farms, and the first fruit farms. It was less thought, and more luck and on-the-spot innovation.Four hundred years later, they were across the world, and each continent, each of the six massive islands, were constantly warring and making peace. The original continent the smallest, the strongest, had made the first plane; they made the first bomber, the first battleship. They were the first to go into space, where they were the first to spaceships. When the first spaceship, armed with a single cannon, fired down onto the command center of their most hated rivals, and destroyed their leaders, the entire world paused, and looked upwards.A hundred more years passed, and there were two fleets in orbit around the planet. However, these weren't fighting- each nation had bonded to each other, intent on finding new lands, new peoples, and new ways to do everything. And here they are. Other: Don't piss them off.
