Hey there RPG, it's been awhile. If any oldies don't remember me, it's Cale Tucker. Not the best of reputations, but I think the past is ultimately the past. Anyone remember Flooby? Or To Lunds? That great old Medieval NRP that was huge, but lasted 2 IC pages? Well, Flooby and I still have nostalgia of those days. He almost asked me to return to RPG to try for a NRP (which I interpreted as an actual request).
Either way, remembering or not, I am interested in a Medieval NRP. Custom nations, or taking over historical ones, but I'm not looking to follow suite on ye olden history books, I'd like the chance to take the reigns of a Nation and lead them to a path I want them. Flooby and I are considered an old timer bunch here on RPG, and I might be able to persuade him to login if we can find something fun. Would anyone be up for such a roleplay? Custom or Historical? (A-Historical, probably) Freedom of play and to take your Nation where you want.
The problem that really befell To Lunds, was the Math issue. Flooby and I agree the math was overwhelming. While initially it was alright to deal with, unfortunately the Military required every next post to have new math, and Flooby, himself, had to calculate everything. So while we of course want Military to be involved, we want more emphasis on a story, to play our nations and be Monarchs, or Dictators, or Presidents, and lead our countries. It would be a little more fun to be a national leader, rather than solely a military general, which is what To Lunds turned into, unfortunately.
I am not looking to lead a roleplay, and neither is Flooby. Our ability to throw incredible amounts of time to lore writing and world building are, to say the least, over. But while we still have our busy lives, we are interested in possibly joining something, able to devote just a little time, for a post or two, every so often.
If anyone experienced with NRPs would be interested, you have 1, maybe 2, ready players to hop in. Please post your ideas below, of any kind of world setting that might be jogging around in your brain. But at current we prefer Medieval, Non-Fantasy.
