Just laying about some personalities. Will be updated in the future
(Translation: Or when I feel like it.)

Name: Idranul
Age: 2,500
Gender: Male
Race: High Elf
Alignment: Neutral Good
Occupation: Adventuring Sage (Formerly a Nightblade)
Place of Origin: The Crescent Isles
Personality: Idranul has always been a calm, apathetic individual. Always aware of danger, yet ignorant of it. As a wanderer, he is a patient and optimistic being, looking forever forward, and ready to approach whatever surprises await him. At the first glance, Idranul is a cold and nihilistic creature, but he contains a heart of humility that few Elves can ever think to harness. When under the influence of deep meditation, or when invoking his magical abilities, Idranul can act stressed and wrathful, as the sensitivity of manifesting such energies can lead to migranes if done improperly, and the addition of sound can only worsen said pain. Idranul is also an extremely paranoid individual, sometimes even going as far as to shout wildly, even when there is nothing there. This is mostly due to the hallucinations that he has suffered through in his life, and the reason he eventually blinded himself.

Appearance: Idranul's appearance in body is quite average in comparison to his High Elven kinsmen, though he may appear to be very tall and lithe, it is no different to the common conception of what an Elf would appear to be. However, the clothing he adorns is not what would be expected for a High Elf to wear. Idranul always adorns a thick, yet flexible suit of brown leather, lines of stitches around the arm and leg areas show that the clothing was obviously made by an apprentice craftsman. Not a very complicated, or dashing suit, but a very practical one for exploring the great lands, far and wide. This leather suit contains a crest, bearing the appearance of a Vergina Sun, this is to show Idranul's veneration of the sun as the greatest giver of life. The suit also contains the bearings of visible, yet indecipherable markings, obviously made by himself as a hobby. Idranul wears a hood specifically made for him. The entirety of it completely covers his head, including his mouth, nose and eyes. The bottom front is very thin, allowing him to breathe easily, and speak without being muffled by the hood. The rest however, is as thick as the rest of the leather he wears. The stitches across where his eyes and ears should be show that the leather threads have been woven through his own flesh. This is so that he may never take off the hood in the remainder of his lifetime.

Abilities: Though blind, the rest of Idranul's senses have been greatly improved under the extensive meditation regime he has put himself through. Improved reflexes and hearing allow him to pinpoint where a certain sound is coming from, or when something is approaching, which helps give Idranul a boost in agility. Idranul's increased metal stability, solidified by the horrors he has witnessed have given him an Indomitable will, Idranul will not submit to spell affecting his mind without a fight. This also helps give him a clear state of mind. Fear and despair will not dissuade him from his objective so easily. Idranul's knowledge of the abilities of the mind also help grant him the abilities of the illusionist, for he boasts a library of mental spells to hinder or manipulate the thoughts and feelings of others. However, this makes Idranul empathetic to the state of mind that others around him have. A mind with a strong will can aggravate him, making him sensitive to hallucinations and other mind damaging properties.

Bio: Idranul has spent an eternity adventuring the land. He is like a nomad, for there is no permanent home that the sage can lay claim to, and that is how he would prefer it. As an Elf, he knows that death will not come to him through the weakness of age, and he shall spend the time he lavishes wandering for eternity, for this brings him new wisdom, a new peaceful state of mind and content, and gives him the energy he needs to evade the terrible curse of boredom, as well as other, more unspeakable problems. Idranul uses the excuse of adventure to escape his own horrors. Idranul has seen many terrible things throughout his long life, so much that in order to snuff out the traumatic hallucinations, he blinded himself, and demanded a craftsman to create a hood which would be embedded into his own skin, so that he would never have to take off the hood. If Idranul becomes uninterested in exploration, he settles down in a rite of deep meditation, in order to avoid the mental pain forever woven into his mind. Idranul's greatest ambition is to finally adventure beyond the very world itself, and explore the vast void of what is now as space...

Likewise. I hope to make my stay here as fruitful as possible!
(If I can conquer my problem of procrastination at least...)

Was surfing the sea of the web for a roleplaying site until I found this place.
Had a curious peek, and it seems quite interesting, so I went and signed up!
Hope I make a good impression.
