Physical Appearance
Rita is a large, muscled woman with somewhat rough features. Her hair is frizzy dark brown, quite short but very full and thick and with a few gray strands throughout. She has full eyebrows and heavily lidded dark brown eyes. Rita has evidence of sun damage on her round cheeks and across her nose, as well as in patches on her broad shoulders. She rarely wears any jewelry, except for a simple gold band on her left ring finger. Rita’s nails are short, often unpainted, but always neat. While most of her weight appears to be muscle mass, Rita does have a slightly chubby belly, as well as wide hips.

Attire
Rita’s wardrobe is decidedly masculine. She primarily dresses plainly in jeans, long sleeved tee shirts, and plain sneakers. Weather permitting she’ll wear cutoff muscle shirts and shorts, and when it’s cold she has sweatshirts, sweaters and wintry jackets. She rarely wears anything that could be considered formal (unless she’s crossdressing), but her closet isn’t without ties, suits, and polished leather shoes. For business arrangements she’s often seen in classic khaki and corduroy pants with a simple dress shirt.

What I’m Really Like
Rita is a gruff, sarcastic ladies’ lady. She’s loud and loves to laugh, almost as much as she likes making others laugh. She doesn’t care much for authority, law-abiding or otherwise.

All About My Past
Rita grew up mostly in a foster home just outside Tulsa, Oklahoma. She lived on a farm owned by an older couple with several foster children. They did little to raise her, or any of the children, giving little affection. As a teenager she left Oklahoma and joined a gang in Chicago, making many contacts she maintains to this day. After a fight with another gang leader, Rita fled east and wound up in NYC. She met Lily at a gay bar in Greenwich Village and, well, the rest is history.

My Blood
Despite no longer having any formal ties to gangs or the mob, she maintains amicable communications with many crime lords and street-level mobsters across the city. She makes her establishment as close to a neutral ground as possible, though most drug trafficking is carried out by the Bustamentes.

Physical Appearance
Lily is slender, with mocha skin. She has unusual dark green eyes. She wears quite a bit of makeup; heavy mascara and eyeliner, eyeshadow, bold lip colors, contouring and highlight. Lily has a slim but chiseled jaw, full lips, and immaculately neat eyebrows. Her hair is cropped quite close to her head, but she likes wearing wigs in many colors, styles and textures. Her nails are always freshly done. Although Lily has a quite slim figure, she’s not lacking in seductive curves.

Attire
Lily considers herself a classic beauty, and dresses as such. She wears simple but classy clothing, ironically tending to shy away from terribly flashy clothing despite her history in drag. She’s particularly a fan of skintight short dresses. In more casual settings, she still opts for attractive blouses and nice jeans or skirts. Due to her height she only wears heels at work, usually wearing simple flats or even sneakers otherwise.

What I’m Really Like
Lily is a gentle soul, empathetic almost to a fault. She’s very friendly and a good conversationalist, though can be a bit shy when it comes to actually opening up. She’s a touch vain, always wanting to look her best, especially if she’s with a lover. She’s a bit prone to complaining, being a perfectionist and having little patience with rude or annoying people; if caught in a bad mood she could be accused of even being bossy or stubborn. Lily is very generous, and truly bleeds for the world and anyone who is suffering.

All About My Past
As a child, Lily lived in Queens being raised by her grandparents, until her father claimed custody of her when she was fourteen. Her teen years with him were very uneasy, and she ran away before she was eighteen. She came out and began living as a woman at 20, but didn’t start HRT until after she met Rita. They bought the Queen Louis together, and turned it into a fabulous drag bar open to all deviants.

My Blood
Lily has no familial connection with the mobs, her only personal ties being through Rita and business connections. She’s under the impression that the gangs she works with aren’t ones involved in violent crimes or violating human rights, partly due to Rita witholding the whole truth and partly because she doesn’t want to believe they’re involved with such things.

The Queen Louis

The Queen Louis is a trendy but salacious bar in the East Village, a few blocks from Cooper Union and a few other gay bars and hangouts. It has three floors; the first is the nightclub, where drag shows are performed; the second is the bar, where the more relaxed clientele go to unwind; and the third, a loft apartment where Rita and Lily have made their home.
The first floor of The Queen is a party to the nightly roisterous crowd eager of mostly young people. The lighting was carefully planned and constructed, so as to transition from dramatic theatrical lighting during shows to moodier black lights and color filters more suitable to a late night discotheque. There is a stage with a catwalk opposite a sleek bar adjacent the entrance. On the floor between there may be tables and chairs for dinner theater, or the catwalk taken down and the floor cleared for dancing.
Behind the cabaret bar is a quite industrial stairwell, leading up to the main bar. This area is relaxed and rustic, with wooden furnishings and old metal artwork. Most of the regulars don’t go here, giving the bar a laid-back atmosphere that’s a far cry from the chaos downstairs. The patrons smoke frequently, both inside and outside on the balcony that connects to the firescape.
The loft is only accessible by the balcony outside the bar, and is locked from any entrants.

@TheWildBunnii I made their bar's description a separate section just to make it easier to find. They're affiliates, not formally part of any gang; I think I said that in an earlier OOC post but I'm not sure how clear I made that in their sheets.
