Thanks. That's what I did wrong. xD

It had been quite sometime since Tarani herself had been out of her Estate, and it took her at a bit of a shock that the young Satyr had known of her, and by The Lady no doubt. "I won't lie, Lost. I'm rather surprised you remember such an old name. It has been many years since I have been called by that name--the last Fae War to be exact."

A sense of unease rattled Tarani's bones, "The Satyr must have some unease about me." It was expected for her to be feared, power being one of the many things she continuously sought after with every fiber of her being. Still, she did have a soft side, and she would put aside her malicious nature for a while, if even a short while. "Do not be frightened. I shall not harm thee. I only wish a bountiful Hunt, and revenge for the wrongs done to us Fae. Many Deals have been struck and many Promises broken by Humans. The Hunt is a way to balance that. It is only natural that I, an Earth Nymph, take part in one of the many ways of Balancing the Realms."

Then, of course, there is Lord Falk's own reasons for the Hunt. If it pleased the Fall King, then it pleased her. Her sole purpose in life is to serve the Fall King.

The two continued forward upon a path known only to a select few--it's beauty for those privileged enough to have inherited the knowledge of knowing where it is. The wind danced lightly around, light glinting from the fractures and breaks in the trees, adding to the surreal feeling of calm. As they walked the leaves fluttered at their feet, creating a kaleidoscope of color. It wouldn't be long and they would reach the palace.

"Pray tell, Lost. How did thee come about the young girl earlier? And why did the Satyr not rush to her side? There were indeed outsiders in Fall territory?" Tarani knew of Lost quite well, and had even met him in Court and passing bys, but she did not know however, the true extent of his loyalty to the Fall Realm. "Does Lord and Lady upset you, Little One?" A wry grin forming on her face.

"Music shall come later. First we shall converse and become much better acquainted."

Sounds like a plan to me. :D
I'm still figuring out how to introduce my new character. >.<

--think think think--

if @EthTenshi would help a wee bit, I'd be ever so thankful. :D
Winter Court character, so whoever is interacting with Bayen, feel free to give me your two cents--I'm broke anyway. xD
I love harmless fun afoot :D
I'm also hungry >. <
Tarani withdrew her hand, somewhat agitated that the young beauty had turned down her aid. She didn't let it bother her though, her thoughts on the presence of the other Fae in the trees above them. Interesting he hasn't shown himself yet.

She bid the young one a farewell, "As you wish, Young One. I pray thy safe passage onwards toward the Palace." Tarani bowed in formal respect; a pet the girl may have been, but an important one to Lord Tegvan no doubt. It seemed as if the trees themselves moved in tohether, Tarani's power urging them to obscure Aisling's path.

With the human girl gone, Tarani's full attention was focused on the Fae that still hasn't revealed itself. She decided that she'd wait. It shouldn't be long now. As she predicted, the Fae had realized it was best to introduce oneself.

"Such a direct question, without an introduction is quite rude, I dare say." A minor game, one she was sure the Satyr wouldn't play. "It doesn't matter anyway. I've heard you, Lost the Satyr," Tarani smiled pleaseantly.

It was a pleasure to know so much in the Fae realm and a privelage...one she did not dare take for granted. "To answer your question, young Satyr, though are most welcome to join me this festive year. And I dare say...a Hunt this shall be indeed." A sinister laugh escaped her lungs, sending chills through the trees.

I could use this one. Some knowledge. A silver tongue. Yes...useful indeed. Tarani moved forward, graciously gliding over the rotted ground. She tilted her head towards Lost, back turned, "You may call me, Anya. One of many of the Fall Kings vast Legions."

Her gnarled path took her onwards, towards the Fall Kings palace...a beauty of its own masterful kind. The fall leaves compared to nothing.

I'm confuzzled
Tonto shook his head in approval, following next to Vant, as opposed to following behind him. Tonto never really did like "following" in others foot steps, and whether it was figuratively or not....he wasn't doing it. The sun was setting more and more as the walked on, encountering a few more battles along the way. It really wasn't anything to dispatch a few Slimes and few Insects. Tonto just hoped they didn't encounter anything to serious before they reached the inn that they so deserved after such a long day.

However easy it seemed, the traveling and battling really did take a toll on the Stamina, sleep beginning to to become ever more an essential tool their survival in this "game" world. "I can't wait 'till we reach the town. I hope the beds are decent. Memory foam, perhaps?" Rambling was one of his many specialties and he took full advantage of Vant's silent nature. Tonto was sure that Vant would warm up more as they become closer companions in the quests ahead. "What I'm really looking forward to though is the food. Gosh I hope they have good food. I'd kill for a rack or ribs right about now, " he exasperated, drooling slightly at the mouth. "What about you, Vant? What kind of accommodations would you be looking forward to the most when we reach out highlighted destination?" he snickered lightly, the thought of a highlighted map amusing to him.

Name: Estefania Militis
Race: Human
Position: Winter Knight
Age: Appears 32; Really 2,000 years old
Personality: Estefania appears as cold as the winter day, due to spending most of her life in the Fae realm. However, she is still a human and is very loyal to the ones she loves and to those who put their trust in her. She is a knight, and a knight without honor is not a knight at all, so when it comes to deals and bargains she is always careful to choose her words wisely and to never let her tongue slip, lest her deceptive ways be found out. Her end of the bargain shall always be upheld though: without question. Headstrong and determined, she'll never stop until the mission at hand is complete and her Queen is satisfied.
Appearance:
Background: Estefanie doesn't remember much about her childhood, but the one thing she did remember was playing in the snow one crisp morning; her brother right alongside her making snow angels. It was a truly blissful day. It suddenly all came to a crash when her father swooped her up, and rode her a few towns over. Only to be sold to a beautiful young woman of a wealthy and important looking stature. Images of her brothers face haunted her for years later.

Unbeknownst to Estefania was the young woman...her True character. So young she never knew. It wasn't until she was of the age of 18 in human years that she was told the truth. The young woman that had purchased her 18 years ago was Queen of the Unseelie Winter Court at the time. It was also revealed that Estefania crossed over to the Fae Realm with the Unseelie Queen that day so long ago when she was sold. An Aging Spell had also been placed on her. It had been so long to her that Estefania really bore no ill will towards the Queen, but instead loved her like a Mother, and cherished the bond that they had.

After a few hundreds years of living in the Fae Realm and learning their ways and all that there was to know about her Court, and crucial things about other Courts, Estefania was revealed to her that she was brought to the Fae Realm to fulfill her Destiny; one specific to the Winter Court. She was to be the Queens Winter Knight and to serve her with undying loyalty and unquestionable honor. She was to Swear an Oath to the Unseelie Queen of Winter and to all the Queens before and after her. Estefania did just that with no reluctance.

Estefania spent the next 600 years learning magic, a talent that she was born with naturally but had no idea she lied within her. Rumors spread through out the Court and the Winter Realm of the Human Champion that the Queen had named her Knight. The magic she wielded was no trifling matter either. She not only possessed Ice Magic but she also could perform quite a number of Healing Spells. Aside from magic, Estefania had the talents she acquired growing up--those of a cunning, skilled linguist. One especially deceptive in the art of Word Play.

It was long after that the Queen had Estefania running "errands" for her in the Human Realm. There were many promises and oaths that had been broken with the Queen and she had been waiting for opprotune moment to strike--and the tool she'd strike with. Estefania was all too pleased to do so. Pleasing the Queen many times over brought nothing but purpose and fulfilment to her life. Sadly...the Queen's time was coming to an end.

Rumors had begun to spring that King Bramden was going to dethrone the current Queen, and put Marzanna on the throne. Estefania would always love and cherish the Queen she grew up with and trained with, but when it was time for things to change, it was time for things to change, and the Queen was becoming weak. Estefania didn't oppose the idea of Marzanna ruling. She actually liked the young Fae. Estefania watched and observed Marzanna growing up for many years, keeping her presence concealed as best as possible.

Just as the rumors predicted, the outcome came about: Marzanna was made Queen of the Unseelie Winter Court, and Estefania was Oath-Bound to serve the Queen just as she had served the last one. And to this day Estefania has done just that.
