Name: Bonnie McCullen
Age: 25
Gender: Female
Species: Human Mage
Appearance:
Likes: Riding horses, hunting, fishing, just being outdoors in general, country music, cooking, watching sunrises and sunsets, a beer every now and then and a good cup of coffee, cats and dogs

Role in Society: She owns a ranch outside of town. Currently, she is the only one working it because her cowhands done up and left her, but she's hoping that will change one day. She rarely visits the town, except to grab a few groceries or medicine or go shopping at a clothing store.
History:
Magic is a force just as mysterious as it is dangerous. When Bonnie McCullen's ancestors in the 1800s first discovered their powers, they were both amazed and terrified. Back then, all magic was seen as of the Devil, and rather than be labeled devil worshippers and hung by the noose, both Jedediah McCullen and his wife Maddie Lou fled their town for a land that was said to be more 'relaxed' and accepting towards those of magical ilk. Once there, they built a farmhouse outside of the town, which later grew into what would be called the Rambling Rose Ranch.
Today, the 150 Acre ranch is under the ownership of Bonnie, an aspiring mage herself. Though the townspeople are friendly towards her, she goes to great lengths not to use her magical powers except when she needs to. Firstly, overusing them can give her splitting headaches and make her fatigued real easy. Secondly, even though the town is accepting of all mystical creatures and people, she still feels there is a stigma attached to her.
Bonnie has since run the ranch all by herself, after her mother and father passed away and her cowhands all quit and moved on. Though she enjoys everyday getting up at the crack of dawn and working til dusk, it's still a difficult task for her alone. Now, she is hoping by spreading word around the town, she can wrangle up a few good hands to help her out. If not, then it will just be her and her horse Maple responsible for keeping the place afloat.
Other Information:
Most of Bonnie's powers revolve around manipulating fields of energy around her. She can cast forcefields, levitate for a short time, create powerful shockwaves to knock back her enemies, and accelerate energy to cause heat (I.E. starting fires, heating objects, etc.). However, since Bonnie is just learning how to control her power, overuse can be harmful to her, even deadly. Thus, she relies more on using a weapon like a gun or a knife to defend herself. Often, she'll carry her buck knife on her as well as her .44 Smith & Wesson Revolver.
