Yoshitsune might choose a side later on in the story, and I guess if its ok with you Myst, Ayame could remind him of Kimiko somehow. Not saying it would form into a romance (it might) but it would be interesting nonetheless. ^_^ Again just a thought.

Well eh....the deed is done ^_^ But it might be interesting if he heard Ayame's name again and it triggers his past memories. Also as for sides....I would say he's neutral as he cares nothing for serving anyone or anything but his own accord. Anywho, glad Yoshitsune got accepted. ^_^ Been looking for an RP like this for a while, and can't wait.

Name: Yoshitsune Hakoda (義経箱田)

Age: 19

Class: Ninja/Hitokiri

Power(s): Super speed, A high threshold for pain, heightened senses of awareness, extremely skilled with all Ninjutsu weaponry, Will go into a bloody rage sometime during battles.

Weakness: More of a mental weakness, he prefers to isolate himself from everyone and will scold anyone viciously for getting in his way. He refuses to have any companionships with anyone and prefers mostly to work alone, meaning during a battle he will try to push others out of the way.

Background: Yoshitsune is no stranger to violence. Losing both his mother and father in the early years of a great and terrible war, he was orphaned at a young age, and since there were no other guardians to look after him, that meant he was alone. For nearly two years, he traversed the bitter frozen and snowbound forests of his homeland, surviving however he could by trapping and eating wild game for nourishment and gathering wood for fires, yet still having to brave the callous chill of the night.

Then on one of these cold and miserable nights, he was kidnapped and sold into a slavery ring bound for Kyoto. The slave handlers treated him terribly as they did the others, lashing his fragile, childish figure with painful whips and branding marks into his bleeding, bruised skin. Among his captives though, he made a companion of a slightly older woman named Kimiko. Kimiko was being sold to a brothel in Kyoto while he was being sent to work for a Feudal Lord as a servant. In Kimiko, Yoshitsune found comfort amidst the horrible and dangerous journey. He found solace as she embraced him in her warmth and whispered to him, It will be okay, Yoshi-chan. I'm here for you.

He fell in love with Kimiko, but didn't have the strength to tell the woman, not yet, but the day Yoshitsune finally mustered the courage to elaborate his long kept feelings of affection for the beautiful maiden, the slave caravan was attacked by a gang of vagrants and Kimiko was murdered befor his very eyes. Seeing his beloved die before him and hearing her last faint, blood-choked whispers of I love you, Yoshi-chan.... it drove him to rage, sparking within him a fury he long kept surpressed, a hellish blaze of anger, of hatred so fueled by everything he's come up against. In this very act of rage, he slaughtered the vagrants mercilessly with their own swords, carving each and every one of the murderous bastards to pieces. He didn't stop, he didn't let up once and give them quarter. Instead he hacked their bodies to pieces, even after ripping their hearts out and bashing their skulls in with the pommel of his katana.

Unbeknownst to Yoshitsune, a passing Shinobi saw the whole spectacle of bloodshed happen from start to finish. He approached the young kid after Yoshi buried Kimiko and placed a flower upon her mound tearfully, telling him that his anger and his fury was just what the kid needed, that love was something to cast away and forget, that it would only distract the mind from its true potential and make a weakling out of a warrior. Yoshitsune, didn't want to believe this, but.....the ninja's words stuck with him. The Ninja then offered Yoshitsune a place of refuge with his clan, but only if Yoshitsune trained as well to become a ninja. So began six hard, severe and brutal years of training under the Lord Onryu Hakoda of the Hakoda Shinobi Clan. Lord Onryu showed the boy no sympathy, no kindness whatsoever. Whenever Yoshitsune showed pain, more pain was inflicted, either by a swift fist to the face or a bokken to his backside. He would lie awake constantly for nights on end, his entire body racked with such severe agony, yet he pushed his self onward through the physical and psychological torment he endured everyday, shattering every inch left of his innocence, until nothing remained....but hate, fury, anger, and misery. He had finally become....a Ninja.

Anime Ninja School RP anyone?

In the Sengoku Period of Feudal Japan, Ninja or Shinobi were the most feared of warriors next to the honorable Samurai, dealing with more covert tactics and operations such as espionage, infiltration, sabotage, and assassination. Welcome to the Jubei School of Ninjutsu!

So of course the idea I have here is a secret school that teaches Ninjutsu to students. I've been wanting to do an RP like this for quite a while, and I was wondering if anybody else would want in on it as well. There's going to be alot of action, maybe some romance, some comedy here and there to keep things lighthearted. Also I'm toying around with the idea of other secret Ninja schools existing as well to rival Jubei, maybe hold tournaments with them and whatnot or a secret war going between the two Ninja Clans who own the schools. Either way, you get the idea of where this may go. So any takers? ^_^
