I've been roleplaying since I was 12- so since now I'm 18 its officially been 6 years- although its been on and off. I draw a lot for my roleplays, too.
I usually go for fantasy, adventure, and mythology based roleplays.
Status: Docile. Specie info: These massive bulls are prized in rural areas for their power and impressive size. They are coveted by farmers- whoever has the biggest bull is usually the best farmer- because that makes sense, right?
Mid-Land Monsters
Areas: The Plains
Status: Docile. Will charge if young are threatened.
Specie info: The grassy plains cow produces milk that's sweet and nutritious. They run in herds that litter the open fields. Its no secret that these animals have the ability to sense approaching objects- no matter the level of stealth. They skirt away at the least bit of danger. And so- grassy plains cow milk is pretty expensive, since very few manage to get their hands on some.
Forest Monsters
Areas: Degar
Legend holds that they are the reincarnated souls of children who were lost in the woods. status: non-threatening. The above hart has impossibly long antlers- most have smaller (albeit still tangled-like) antlers.
Status: non-threatening.
Specie info: the Moss Gecko grows algae and fungi on its body to befit the season and forest that they live in. These beasts are the size of house cats and often roam about the forest in groups of 4 or 5.
status: mischievous but otherwise harmless.
Specie info: Fairy-folk indigenous to the Degar forest. They love to pull pranks on the villagers and will often disguise themselves to walk among people. They have the tendency to glow when they are embarrassed- especially at night- and this often gives away their disguises.
status: threat. They are an organized people that specialize in guerrilla warfare- ambushing from the trees. They have recently been allied to the Maw and their attacks on the villages have been increasing at an alarming rate. They wear battle masks of gold- fashioned in the face of their god and father Pan.
GROSS NASTY NASTY Status: EW GET AWAY Specie info: These spiders carry their young on their backs. They scuttle about the forest floor in search of things to STAB WITH THEIR POISONOUS LEGS. Like the common spider they inject a serum into the flesh of their victims- so their insides liquefy so they can better consume the flesh. Their bodies are camouflaged by an exoskeleton that imitates foliage. Btw they can will the eggs on their back to explode- not only killing themselves and their young- but also those standing near them.
Tundra Monsters
Areas: The Mountains
Status: Aggressive when approached. Keep at a distance.
Specie info: They run in packs- taking down their prey like wolves would. There has been rumor that a man lives high up in the mountain with these things- sleeping in their dens and sharing in their kills.
Status: Aggressive. Avoid at all costs.
Specie info: A rare beast. The last had been spotted near the snowy top of mt. Gegaria. Very little is known about their habits.
Occupation: craftknight commissioned by the Guild to be stationed in Degar to teach apprentices Weapon specialty:
Summon Beast:
A behemoth battle hyena. He's 9 feet at the shoulder. His skull is the size of a hay cart. Weighing in at 350 lbs of muscle. The lumbering beasts mouth smells like a morgue. His growls sound like demons being butchered with a blunt sword. His horrendous appearance speaks nothing for his attitude, however- for he acts like an over sized puppy when with Roque.
Personality: rough and rugged describe Roque well. When given a task he must see it through. He pushes his students hard because he believes struggle is the most efficient way to become stronger. He's patient and has a keen sense of control over his emotions. Its difficult for him, however, to concede defeat or error. Roque loves glory and power- and at times he may seem bloodthirsty and ambitious.
Bio: He graduated from the Militial Academy of the capital a year ago- a division that some craftknights take when they plan on reaching the ranks that work alongside the Order and the Elemental Knights. However he was chosen to return to Degar and teach. It disappointed him that he would not be needed in the battles up north- but he had no say in the decision. He arrived alongside his friend, Tamirlan, and they both work together to train the students.
Tamirlan/22/m
Occupation: Summoner
Summon Beast:
An aid bot that specializes in healing and is aligned to the thunder element. The rapier is kept in his hip compartment.
Personality: he is Roques opposite. He is kind, understanding, and gentle. He prefers the studious approach to learning- through books and theories.
Bio: The youngest Summoner to graduate the Academy in 100 years. An education of, originally, 10 years was cut short to only 3 for how quickly he rose in the ranks and favor of his professors. He summoned his own Guardian Beast his first year at the Academy- a feat unheard of before. Now, just recently graduated, he decided to head to Degar with Roque- despite all of the opportunities offered to him by the Guilds up in the capital. Here he instructs students on bonding with their Guardian beasts and unlocking the abilities that their beasts have.
Agapetta Solais/25/f
Occupation: summonknight (like a craftknight. But instead of specializing in weapons, she specializes in summoning)
Summon Beast:
An oni-type beast that enjoys imitating the voices of people they meet to mess with them. Kreepy has no gender. They love to tease and taunt- sometimes to a merciless degree.
(note this rp is based off of the gba game of Summonnight. No knowledge of the game is needed to rp this successfully)
You are born into the world of Senefer, a vast continent of forest, desert, and tundric terrain. At the heart of one of these forests is where the roleplay begins- The woods of Degar enhouses a village where many flock from all over to learn the craft of weapon forging. The profession of Craftknight is to not only forge weapons but use them to protect the defenseless from the wild summon beasts surrounding sanctuaries (cities and places under protection). The monsters surrounding the cities have begun to act strangely- their violence increases by the day. It has been rumored that their behavior is linked to a cult that lives in the wild- placing the beasts under a spell to enrage them so they can push their own agenda.
This cult is known as the Maw. They are made up of a motley crew of individuals. Intelligence has returned that they are not merely a group of bandits and crazed mercenaries- but hardened fugitives and outcasts from the Guilds. They are lead by Andropedas- a bear of a man who's brutality is matched only by his faith in the task he follows. Their Task is known as the Absolute- who's goal is unknown at the moment. Maw squads go about brainwashing summon beasts to terrorize towns and destroy things- as of late their actions have been minor and spread out- but it is understood that their acts will only increase in the future.
The force up against this cult is the Order of beast tamers known across Senefer as the Guilds. They are the elite- the strongest in all of the land. They are legends in their own right. The capital is their home. All young apprentice Craftknights revere their names; Andras of Storms along with his Griffin beast is the Knight of Thunder, Talitha of the Abyss and her oni guardian claim Knight of Fire, Brogan the Bad along with his sharktoothed tiger beast is the Knight of Wind, Gyuri is the Knight of water alongside his serpent beast.
And so the goal of all apprentice craftknights is to train and join the forces that the Order leads- to defend Senefer from all evils like the cult of the Maw.
The World
The North
The Crystal Queen rules at the cities heart. Her royal guard is none other than the infamous Order, the elite craftknights of Senefer. The capital is also home to the Guilds- which are an assortment of organizations with specializations in crafts that range from craftknights to carpentry. Many flock here for knowledge, fortune, or both.
The East
The South
Where the roleplay begins. Degar is like the capital of the south. It was once one of the safest cities in all of Senefer- although this standard has changed since the rise of the Maw. Still, many apprentice craftknights flock here to be sworn into the service, receive their beasts, and begin their journey to become the heroes of the land.
The West
The Character Sheet
(Character limit is 3) Appearance: (All pictures allowed. I'd prefer art though. I'd include armor too) Name: (Make it fantasy. I don't want to see common names) Age: 17-19 Gender:
Weapon specialty: (Pick only one. What type of weapon does your character like to forge/wield the most?)
Personality: Bio: (Does your character come from Degar or were they born somewhere else? What is their family like? etc..)
Guardian Beasts
Possible Races (All appearances, save for the Fairies, are from the games. These are not concrete. I'll most likely be picking images from google searches)
Mechanoid- Robots from the Machina World of Lorelai. They are aligned to the element of Thunder.
or
Oni- demon creatures from Silturn. They are aligned to the element of Fire.
or
Fairy- fairy type creatures from Sapureth. Aligned to the element of water and often specialize in healing.
or
Beast- more animal than the other races, these beast types hail from the world of Maetropa. They are aligned to the element of Wind. (The games show monkies as being part of this race- but I'll open this up to any kind of fantasy animal)
or
I will be roleplaying the Summoner. Your characters will be lead to the town hall where they will meet the Summoner. The ceremony is pretty simple- your character provides a 'Token' which is an item that means the most to them. The Summoner will take this item in his hands and form a ball of energy around it. Then they will commence to ask your characters a series of questions.
Depending on how your characters answer will determine what kind of beast I give you. I'll provide their appearance, race, and element- you are free to name them and give them their personalities.
Guardian Beasts (Elements/spells/skills)
All Guardian Beasts start off with an element- this is their aligned element that is linked to the dimension that they hail from. However- this does not mean that your creature cannot develop a new element or learn new skills and spells from other elements.
How Guardian Beasts develop new abilities: Your Guardian Beast holds great potential. Despite who they were in their previous dimension- they reach Senefer being able to do very little element-wise. Meaning they (for a wind element, for example) could only use small bursts of wind for attacks or (for water aligned) manipulate water into attacks.
New moves and skills can be learned simply through training alongside and befriending your creature. Roque has studied each element and knows exactly what each creature would need to reach their next level of ability. Tamirlan will aid the students in bonding with their creatures.
As for the mechanics of the rp and how this will work- I'll be handing out the abilities to your creatures. Once I feel like your character and creature have grown enough.
Rules and Requirements
1. Follow Guild rules 1.5 at least 2 paragraphs per post. 2. Don't machine gun the IC. Meaning don't just rp with one other person for pages and pages without waiting for others to post. Be patient. 2.5 If you plan on leaving post in OOC how long you will be gone (or pm me) so i don't kill off your character for being inactive for so long. 3. I don't tolerate OOC fights. I'll kill your character and kick you out of the roleplay if you're being an asshole. 4. No sex. Take it to pm for that. 5. Be gory and gross as possible, though. Bloodshed is not frowned upon once the apprentices are out in the real world.
(Based off of the gba series of SummonNight- although being familiar with the game is unnecessary to rp this successfully)
Basis of rp: Your characters will take on the role of an apprentice Craftknight- someone between the ages of 17-19 who is learning to forge weapons and use them in battle alongside their Summon creature. The beginning of the rp- my character, who will be the mentor of the joined characters, will assist the new characters in acquiring their Guardian Beast. A Guardian Beast is the summon creature that is unique to your character- they are summoned from another dimensions by a Summoner (an NPC). After the summon beasts are acquired the training will begin.

More on Craftknights
An apprentice craftknight must have an affinity for nature (intuitive and sensitive toward nature, respecting it). This affinity lends itself to setting the average person apart from a craftknight- it is a rare skill to be so close and understanding of nature and its creatures. They have a weapon specialty (specializing in swords, or axes, or spears, or drills etc).
More on Guardian Beasts
The Guardian Beast is summoned by the Summoner- who takes a special 'token' from the craftknight to summon the beast from another dimension. Guardian Beasts are aligned to an element depending on their race. -The Races (I'll provide example pictures for each) Mechanoid- Robots from the Machina World of Lorelai. They are alligned to the element of Thunder. Oni- demon creatures from Silturn. They are aligned to the element of Fire. Fairy- fairy type creatures from Sapureth. Aligned to the element of water and often specialize in healing. Beast- more animal than the other races, these beast types hail from the world of Maetropa. They are aligned to the element of Wind. More on summon beasts
They range from mucus-like monsters to mechanoid contraptions. I'll provide a Bestiary if this rp takes off.
