I was watching Almost Human, and it gave me an idea for a drug.In the show, the drug is called Verum(Veh-rum). "It expands the mind, it opens it up to things in the universe that people are not supposed to see, enables people to realize their full potential."Now, I was thinking that the drug would have the same abilities, to some extent, but have horrible side effects. I would have to think about them, but I think something along the lines of continued use results in increased brain aging or something, so the brain would age so quickly, it dies out after a while, or something like that. Also, I think this drug would be more accessible to Alpha districts, and drug distribution would be run by the Mafia-type gang. And then somehow, it gets to the Beta districts.

Oh~ that reminds me of the drug from John Dies at the End. Have you ever read the book? A drug like that would be awesome. After drilling through google for a bit i found this description of it

"unheard-of designer drug called "Soy Sauce," which opened both of their minds to the invisible network of sinister and supernatural happenings around them—manifestations of an effort by denizens from a horrible parallel reality to kick down the door to our own,"

Maybe not so much as supernatural but maybe psychedelic? I remember reading in the book that they could hear things miles away, see into the past of an object, read things and remember every single word while on the sauce and a bunch of crazy stuff i can't recall right now.

You've prolly seen Limitless with Bradley Cooper right? That kind of drug sounds like the one you want us to have. As a side affect how about their body starts wasting away and eventually just leaving their mind in tact?

You know what i always thought? That like the pokemon somehow sharpened itself and thats what made i move faster. Imagining a skarmory drop some steel armor or feathers is kinda weird, though. I'm pretty sure steelix just drops boulders because steel snake what.

She sat up as the Cyndaquil before her squirmed away out of reach, this slight action disappointed her more than she could ever admit, but her mouth soon betrayed her and dipped into a frown. The Houndour sat up then and opened her mouth to speak, to explain herself- but she was soon cut off by the still fresh in her memory pressure being placed on her mind again. This was something she would most likely have to get used to, she found herself thinking with an intense annoyance, and she soon felt the need to leave this place where no one seemed willing to accept even her most genuine efforts of kindness. Kulero then began explaining their situation; what it meant to him and how he would repay them if his assumptions were true and they were really the heroes he spoke of. Home was something flat and dull in her mind, something she could not picture and so her interest was not drawn by this reward. He then began assigning teams; something which at first shocked her, for why was he carving them up and splitting them apart? Were they not better suited to work together?

Having been too angry with the psychic before, she could not bear looking at him, but now she turned her red eyes upon him and stared in disbelief in the commanding manner which he conducted himself in. What shocked her most, however, was the simple fact that the others were actually listening to him. Did they all really feel that this creature was even telling the truth? He looked rather crazy in her eyes. Fear, she thought, is a convenient weapon. She watched as the groups were made and Kulero assigned directions for each to take and explore the world. Sending us off to our deaths, she thought numbly as his grip on her mind faded. Her gaze fell on the Eevee and Shinx which she was grouped with, her mouth set in a fine line as she watched the Shinx prod the Eevee out of its groveling position and the to face her direction. They were half way across the clearing and it made her uncomfortable to have them come to her. With a final fair well nod to Blaise, whom she wished she got to know better, the Houndour began making her way toward her group.

She made her way toward them with a stormy attitude, her gate tense and she came near the psychic, and her mind was in deep thought over the situation. She was against the idea of everyone being split up like this but a subtle curiosity about what Kulero had said made he want to go along with these 'teams'. If he was telling the truth about how much trouble the world they were in was, then she found herself resolving to actually help out. She literally had nothing to lose and if so many lives were held in the balance of her choices, then her life did not matter. Once she came few paces away from the Eevee and the Shinx, she repressed the dark thoughts, and instead looked at them sternly. Zaraph needed to take things one step at a time and slow down her assumptions.

"Zaraph." She said curtly. Painfully aware of how rude she sounded in her gruff hound voice, she looked away and muttered, "The houndour... Apparently."

Yeah. Freya seems too submissive and Lixy has...intentions that wouldn't make him fit for a leader. Plus, Zaraph is the most intimidating and would probably be the first to run in whether she was leader or not. XD

so does Honedge. Skarmory learns it at level 39, while Honedge learns it at level 18. In fact, in Gen VI Autotomize can only be learned by leveling (in Gen V, Geodude, Roggenrola, and Vanillite could learn it through breeding, but not anymore it seems)

Yeah i saw that. Was just celebrating something i did not know about one of my fave bird pokemon.....

Well Mana i can't approve your CS because im not GM nor am i Co-GM. But i can give you a few pointers om how to strengthen your CS.

For starters: Raltz can be male or female, its not a gender neutral species or gender specific.

2) By abilities Ampharos meant, you know, the actual abilities that the pokemon knows: for example Houndour knows Blaze and Early Bird. You can pick both abilities that your pokemon will typically know. The OP provides a link to bulbapedia for you to look these up c:

3) Ampharos is looking for phrases that describe your characters concept and troubles, for example: "Lonely Warrior" as a concept and their trouble is "Fretful Hypochondriac" and then a description following both, describing what you meant by said phrases.

4) And this is kind of major: you have a few spelling mistakes and grammar issues in your CS, but a quick read through is all you need to fix them. We understand people may rush when posting and make mistakes, it happens to everyone, but in a CS like for this RP we want as much clarity as possible. Ampharos wants the CS's to be on point when it comes to grammar and the like.

And finally the limit for each approach is 3. So you can't give one of the approaches a 4, you feel me?

Fix these few things and im sure Ampharos will accept you once they get back online. Good luck~

History:

Her mother is an heiress to a prominent medical supply company (which has been rumored to have delved in human cell harvesting) and her father is an obscure drug lord. Her mother, Basira Gadar of the Gadar Busafi family and heiress to Busafi Corp, bore Mal in secrecy and wanted nothing to do with the child. Her birth had never been announced to the rest of the family, much less the public in fear of ruining the family name. Even in a city deeply laced with drug culture any association with the Beta districts was abhorred by the more privileged drug pushers of district 2. She was sent to live with her father but before her arrival to district 15 it was dispatched to her guardian, a lowly messenger under her mothers power at the time, that Mal's father had disappeared off the radar. Fearing for his life the messenger did not want to return with the baby still in his possession and so he sold her into the black market of district 15. Luckily for her the messenger had not sold her to a harvester but instead to Po Havargo, a young mafia boss at the time. Desperately in need of a child after a strange family situation occurred that very day he took the child into the care of the Havargo family.

Raised in the warm clutches of the Havargo drug empire, with roots deeply knotted in district 15 and branching out slightly into 14, young Mal lead a very sheltered childhood despite her surroundings. Named after the long dead great grandmother and once matriarch Mal Havargo, who once had a strong hold on the district of 15, and who was rumored to had delved in sanataria, or "demoncraft", which many believed condemned her clan to such horrible bad luck. After the death of La Gran Mal, as she was referred to respectfully as, her family lost its footing in the drug world and spiraled out of control. Forced into the recesses of their empire and kicked back by the other drug competition in D15 the family was almost pushed into extinction. Her heir, Oriana Havargo (for the clan was strictly matriarchal), had to work from the ground up and for ten long years fought wars on what was once her families land. Around the time it seemed that the Family was about to reattain its footing Oriana was assassinated but with no female heir. Her only son, Po, would have to take over as the first male in generations. Only days after coming to power Po, then only 26, had a dream; one he claimed where God came to him warning him of his death if he did not have a female heir before the end of the year. After months of trying with his then girlfriend and then with her sister, after a doctors appointment which announced that he was sterile, Po came to one conclusion; buy the child. Days later he bought Mal in the shadiest part of D15 and back to her new home.

For the majority of her childhood she was raised by the same three old crones; Cyra, Celia, and Cynthia. All three schooled, bathed, dressed, and beat her into the lady she is today. They placed her under close scrutinization every single day. Watched what she watched, what she ate, who she talked to (which were few, much less male), what she read, and would constantly prod her mind for what she thought. Literally, whatever the conversation may be, each was begun with a question that required critical thought and they would not answer her if she did not answer them first. She was not allowed past the house yard for the majority of her childhood and would be beaten if any attempt was made. However dull she perceived life with them to be she soon learned just why exactly such protection and caution was used with her; at the age of 15 she was told her role in the families doings: to be a drug lord and acquire the power they had lost so many years ago. Her temperament soon plummeted at this knowledge and she soon rebelled- for she knew that she was not given the same life as the children which she spotted from her bedroom window. Feeling used and nothing but a pawn young Mal made many attempts to run away from home- but was always brought back by her fathers men. Po, whom she rarely saw, was the only person Mal felt comfortable around. She loved her father then because she was ignorant to the secrets he kept from her.

At 17 she was taken in by her father and was sent in to live with him; he taught her the ropes of the business; how to behave and such but the Crones had already taught her enough. For the brief time that she was with him she found that managing business was her element and running the show; ordering shipments and workers about was not as horrible as she believed it would be. That was until the day a raid went wrong and her uncle Tamais was killed. His head showed up on her doorstep and she was soon flown into protection. At 20 she was on her own, flown to live with an hitman in district 6, and has been there for the past three years. Laying low gave her enough time to research her background and she's brushed up on a few secrets about herself. Like the fact that she was found and that she was sold; but not much else. Its now her goal to find out the rest of her story and her parents.

See! I knew i remembered reading that one of us was a shiny, i just assumed that it was Iatos's Eevee for some reason. If I ever color for future drawings then i'll make sure to remember that Cal is blood red c:

Plus, the combinations were somewhat necessary. Zarapth, Enthen, Vulpix, and Streel can't be on the same team since they're all Fire-types, and Caliburn and Monaghan can't be on the same team nor can Zarapth and Monaghan because they share similar types. Lixy and Zee can't be on the same team either because Zee's Lightning Rod would attract Lixy's Electric-type attacks.I also wanted at least one male and one female on each team. Oh, and I just liked the idea of Zee and Caliburn together on a team. That drawing was just too much awesome for it not to happen.

Zee and Cal as partners are my fave. Because easily Cal could be so abusive verbally to her and in the middle of a fight she could just start bawling- it'd be adorably funny.

But yeah, my friend and i were discussing possible teams and he said that the best fit for my Houndour was with the Leafeon because she could take care of all my weaknesses (which are ground, rock, water, and fighting). But he also pointed out that almost everyone would get thrashed by a Golem, hence why i threw in Goran. My friend says that Goran and Tekken would make a boss team, too. So i'm okay if he's meant to show up later on in the game.

Btw CardCaptor i read your CS's to him and he says you have really awesome characters. "Leroy Jenkins" got him laughing for about 5 minutes straight xD

Lyle walked slowly along the sidewalk, his gray eyes glazed over with pain as he tried to concentrate on the route he had to take to get to the clinic. He wondered numbly what would happen once he got there; he'd heard stories of the local clinic being raided by druggies all the time, so if he asked nicely, maybe with his claws, they'd just give him what he needed out of habit. His lips parted to show glinting, sharp teeth- his bodies instinctive reaction to half shift while in danger or badly hurt. As he walked he noticed people slinking out from alley ways like rats- the night life of the neighborhood slowly waking. He felt their eyes on him and he quickly lowered his head; wounded he would be unable to defend himself if they wanted to thrash a weak shiftling like him.
