Koshiro Hoshizaki
"Now then, you have your invitation letter?"
"Yes, mother."
"And packed all your suitcases ready for tomorrow?"
"Of course."
"And your cellphone? I would like you to call as soon as you're ready to be picked up."
Koshiro shook his head with a snort. "Yes. Of course, mother. Now please, stop worrying."
"Very well." The older woman smiled warmly at her son before planting a kiss on his forehead. "Have a lovely time, ok? Please try not to pester your new classmates too much. I know what you're like," she sniffed with an amused chuckle. "Just let that overimaginative brain relax for once."
Koshiro rolled his eyes with a dry expression. "I can guarantee nothing, mother."
And with that, Koshiro stepped out of the glossy black car parked outside the shopping complex. Only yesterday did he receive the invitation for a party celebrating the arrivals of new Ultimates of Hope's Peak Academy. He had been branded an 'Ultimate Director' (a title he accepted with much pride), and was more than eager to acclimate himself to the new students who would be shaping up the rest of his school career.
Perhaps even, there would be stars laying in wait for him to discover.
He turned and gave a final wave to the car before it drove off, leaving him standing alone before the complex. He reached into his pocket and pulled out the envelope. Hmm...where did it say to meet again? He pondered, taking a few tentative steps forward as he glanced briefly at his surroundings. He could hear the fountain trickling in the distance, and there appeared to be a small group of teenagers surrounding it.
Ah. That's most likely the place. Stashing the invitation back in his pocket, Koshiro started to make his way to the small crowd, a friendly, overbearing smile appearing on his face as he approached them. "Hello, everyone! I am-"
His words were cut short by a sharp shooting pain in the back of his neck, causing him to stagger slightly and clutch the back of his head in pain. "What the...?" He grunted, his knees hitting the hard ground as the world spun wildly around him.
The last thing he heard was the sound of trickling water before he slipped into unconsciousness.
"HYAAA! WHAT THE HELL?!"
The sound of a young girl's shriek was enough to jolt Koshiro into alertness, his body flailing wildly as his eyes shot wide open. The lighting in the room was dim and the pain that ebbed away in the back of his mind made it difficult to surmise where or who he was exactly...
The next he heard was a desperate pounding on the door, white hot fear coursing through Koshiro's veins as he yelped and hugged what felt like the back of a wall helplessly. "W-Who's there?!" He cried, doing nothing to disguise the terror in his voice as he shook violently from both the adrenaline stemming from the situation, and the pain that still ached through his body. "S-Stay away!"
