"Hmm?" Mei broke out of her train of thought as Syrus left the office, his skin white as a sheet and his movements stiff and unnatural. What on earth happened in there? Her gaze travelled to the office door with a curious gleam in her eyes. Syrus had mentioned something about being in trouble before, or so she recalled. Did the Head Instructor punish him in some way?

Whatever did this Syrus person do in the first place?

"Well..." Her eyes glanced from the door back to Syrus with a frown tugging her lips. "I have to go now. Just...go get some rest, ok? You don't look so good." Her voice was steeped in concern. "I'm sure whatever it is, it really can't be all that bad. Gotta keep positive, yeah?" She gave him the most sugar-coated smile she could offer. "Thank you for your help, Syrus. You're a real sweetheart."

And with a wave and a trademark wink, Mei disappeared into Corvo's office, the sound of her jewellery chiming softly as the door closed behind her.

While I'll concede she probably wasn't being entirely sincere, she was trying to be polite. Unless Leiko read her mind, it doesn't justify anything she did.And no, I don't agree that it isn't warranted. Where I come from, petulant children get their comeuppance, and there's no excuse for that kind of behavior.You can have your opinion, but I'll keep mine thank you.

This is getting a little hostile for my liking, so I won't be discussing this any further. Sorry for any offence caused.

Mmmm. Personally, I think the whole situation is interesting, and I'm of the opinion that they're both as bad as each other. Sachiko judges Leiko before she's even met her properly, and her apology, whilst made, wasn't sincere.

Leiko on the other hand, IS a stuck up brat. Not to mention she prizes her flyers' condition more than Sachiko's condition, which is pretty damn conceited. Her feathers are further ruffled when Rui helps Sachiko first, so she concentrates on the person who does help her, which happens to be Kami.

Obviously, this sets off Sachiko's already short fuse as Leiko is being rude, hence the swearing and in-your-face confrontation, which whilst understandable, isn't really warranted since Leiko doesn't really do anything to her besides being a bit spiteful.

TL;DR: They're both bitches IMO.
