Raven was sitting in embarrassment when all of a sudden she felt something bump against her and all of a sudden she was in a completely different place. Luckily, she was touching her swords so they were still with her. Raven sat in shock just looking around, looking at where she had just been in complete confusion.

"Wha-" Raven began but just stopped because she was still processing what had happened. She was slightly brought out of her confusion when she heard the person besides her begin to apologize. She looked over and she realized it was the boy who had the quirk to teleport around, which explained how she got to where she was. Even if she hadn't really been prepared for the teleportation, she honestly was thankful for it because now she wasn't surrounded by all the people. When the boy hit his head on the table she inwardly winced.

"It's- It's fine." She stuttered out as she tried to think of a way to comfort the boy, still not having noticed the girl across from them. "Honestly I'm thankful, I needed to get away from all of that craziness over there. So... despite the shock of the teleportation, I guess what I'm trying to say is t-thank you." Raven finished her face growing a bit warm at the realization that her cold barrier dropped a bit due to her concern for the boy. She rehardened her face at this realization but some slight concern could be seen in her cold eyes as she watched the boy.

Raven listened to the boy, not that surprised that his real form was the small slime form he had become during his 100m. It had become apparent to her that people who were able to hide any physical attributes of their quirks, well, they would hide them. They would do their best to blend in and that was not something she could blame the boy for, if she could hide her wings and horns, she knows she would do so in a heartbeat.

"A quirk like that seems like it can have a lot of possibilities when it comes to helping people and being a hero. I wouldn't call it a convenience. You are lucky to have gotten the quirk you ended up with. Not all quirks are as good as they seem." Raven spoke to the boy, speaking truthfully and honestly about how she saw his quirk. When he seemed to speak to himself about being up in the clouds and what could come with it, Raven took this as her cue to zone out once again. This was interrupted though by the boy introducing himself and reaching his hand out towards her.

Raven tilted her head to the side slightly and looked at him then at his hand then back at him, narrowing her eyes ever so slightly trying to read his face for any bad intentions but she couldn't find anything. She ever so hesitantly reached her hand forward and shook his hand briefly before pulling her hand back quickly. "Raven..." She informed him cautiously, never actually having had someone introduce themselves to her before except for some adults.

It seemed that as soon as Raven retracted her hand another boy appeared at the table out of thin air. This startled Raven at first causing her instincts to kick in, her instincts had her standing up and pulling one of her swords out of her bag within seconds but during the same time, her mind registered that the boy was a classmate when he gave them a friendly wave. The girl quickly sat back down and put her sword back into her bag as a tint of pink made its way to her cheeks. Raven rested her cheek on her hand again and looked down trying to get over the slight embarrassment from what just happened, the feeling of eyes from other students in the cafeteria boring into her back.

Raven was sitting peacefully by herself, that was until one of her classmates came and sat down across from her. She glanced towards him as he began eating, shoving the food down his throat at first. When the boy tipped the tray up and just dumped the food down his throat she raised an eyebrow at him. That was definitely not something she saw every day.

It was when she was turning her attention back towards the outside world that the boy spoke up and asked her a question. This had Raven turning her head back towards him and just staring at him blankly for a few seconds. In that time she decided whether or not she wanted to get into a conversation with the boy. She ultimately decided she should try and not be anti-social so she would reply to his question.

"It's relaxing." Raven began as she looked out the window once again while holding the conversation, not really one to keep eye contact during a conversation with someone new. "Getting to be up high away from all the chaos of the ground allows for a sense of peace you can't find elsewhere. The clouds allow for an escape into a place with complete silence, a silence that really is impossible to recreate on the ground." Raven answered his question, a very very faint smile developing as she spoke about the clouds. She loved to fly high in the sky, or just fly in general. It was her escape from reality and all the people who looked down on her for her quirk.

"I saw what you were able to do during the tests, plus what you did just now.. so what's it like being able to manipulate your body like that?" Raven asked the boy, once again sparing him a glance.
Raven looked to the girl who had almost run into her, the same one she had watched manipulate shadows. When she apologized for almost running into her Raven simply shook her head slightly.

"Don't worry about it. It happens." She told the girl with a small smile before letting her face return to being expressionless as she faced the teacher who spoke to them. After he finished Raven headed to the locker room and changed before grabbing her bag with her swords and heading to the cafeteria.

Upon entering the cafeteria Raven looked around until she found an empty table. As she made her way to the table people would catch one sight of her and quickly get out of her way looking scared of the winged girl with horns. Raven just brushed it off and ignored the whispers as she passed and when she sat down at the table setting her bag in front of her. Raven immediately just shut out the rest of the world and looked out the window next to her, resting her elbow on the table and her chin on her hand.
When the class was released to do the physical tests Raven walked to the side not wanting to start right away as she needed to let her wings get stretched out as they were feeling cramped from her keeping them tight for such a long period of time. Raven expand her wings to their full 10 feet length stretching them while she observed the others as they started. The first and main thing She noticed was that the shortest girl from the class was now the tallest person in the class, it was quite an interesting sight to see the girl's quirk.

Once she had gotten her wings stretched out she stretched out the rest of her body before deciding she was ready to begin the physical exam. She made her way to the first one she would do while watching the other students at different ones. Each quirk used was interesting, the obvious ones and not so obvious. Raven wondered if they would have a time where they would go over or share what their quirks were, part of her wanted it to know exactly what her classmates were able to do but the other part of her didn't want to have to show the rest of her quirk's abilities or tell them what they were. She shook her head and snapped back to focusing on the first exam she had now arrived at.

The first of the exams she decided to do was the 20 m knowing not being able to use her wings would cause her to be slowed down cause running with her wings as deadweight is definitely not easy. Raven made her way to the podium and wrote her name before going to the starting line and folding her wings to their resting position. She then ran the distance as fast as she could, it was a short distance but her wings slowed her down so she didn't get a score she was the happiest with but she wasn't too upset with it.

20m Dash - 7.08 seconds

Raven then moved on to the shot put test, she knew this also wasn't going to be the best score for her as no part of her quirk could truly help her with it. She signed her name on the podium before doing the test. She threw the shot put with as much strength as she could muster, her wings snapping forward to create as much of a gust of air as she could with the throw to give it a bit more power at the beginning. When she saw the score she nodded to herself, the score a bit better than expected.

Shot Put - 19.97m

Raven signed her name on the podium for the 100m dash and went to the start line. As soon as she began she spread her wings out and jumped off the ground flapping her wings, immediately going faster and quickly crossing the finish line and landing. She passed the podium and glanced at it before continuing to the last station.

100m - 9.45 seconds

Raven got to the last podium and signed her name before she spread her wings out wide. She paused with her wings at their full wingspan thinking about how far up she should fly to get her point across. Raven then knelt down with a slight pause before jumping at the same time her wings snapped downwards. She began to fly straight up her wings propelling her at a quick speed upwards. It wasn't until she reached 500m that she slowed to a stop and stayed at the height. She closed her eyes as she relaxed, her wings still flapping to keep her up, Raven let the breeze blow through her feathers and hair enjoying the feeling. She then opened her eyes back up and looked down smiling softly at the view. She loved seeing things from the point-of-view she was at. She made her way back down to the ground and gently landed before walking to where her other finished classmates were, not even bothering to look at what she had gotten as her score.

High Jump - 500m
Raven was almost to the locker rooms when all of a sudden a girl her height came hurtling out of the shadows from the left towards her. Raven quickly moved out of the way to hopefully let the girl land on her feet.

"I'm going to guess you are heading to the locker rooms. If you want to follow me, you can. That's the way I am heading there now." Raven knew most people would ask if the person was ok but she wasn't feeling that social right now as she just wished to go get changed and get outside. With that Raven turned and headed to the locker room and put her swords in her locker before quickly changing. She then quickly made her way outside after locking her locker. She was ready to get the physical exam started with. She felt bad for not asking the girl if she was okay and made a note to ask the white-haired girl if she was okay when she got outside.

@LunarisDaFox
Raven's embarrassment was short lived as a boy seemed to appear out of nowhere and fall to the ground, knocking a chair over. Then there was the girl with the animal ears who walked into the classroom and tripped followed by a boy running into the wall outside. Raven's main attention though was the teacher, a huge mixed insect in a suit... that was definitely going to make for one interesting year. When he brought up that they were going straight into testing them physically Raven could feel some of the anxiety she had for the day melt away, testing her physical abilities with and without her quirk were definitely something she could handle and something she enjoyed.

Before getting up to head to the changing rooms Raven opened her bag and quickly put all her school supplies in her desk before pausing to run her hand over the handle of one of her swords, the rest of the sword was wrapped up in cloth to keep it from cutting anything and also to keep stuff from damaging it. Raven snapped herself out of her small trance and stood up, closing her bag and picking it up. She refused to leave her swords behind in the classroom so she was going to bring them with her to the changing room. Hopefully, her locker would have enough room for them to be safely stored while they did their physical exam. Raven brought her wings in tight in hopes of not hitting anyone with them as she made her way out the door glancing at the boy with the crow on his shoulder, the crow intriguing the girl. Raven has always loved birds probably because she basically is one herself, but she loved to fly with them and they seemed to like her. She looked away and continued down the hall letting her wings loosen up a bit as she was now alone in the hall and didn't run that big of a risk of hitting anyone with them.
Raven ran up to the gates only to be greeted by a giant crowd of people blocking the way to the gate.

"Excuse me." She called, as she tried to make her way into the crowd but unfortunately no one wanted to let the girl with the big wings into the crowd as they didn't want her blocking their view. Raven let out a puff of air and thought over her only other option to get past the crowd. "Well let's hope they all are too busy paying attention to the students on the ground." She muttered before walking back 10 feet and spreading out her wings stretching them. Raven then ran forward and jumped giving her wings one good pump getting her just high enough to glide over the crowd.

Raven landed and simply ignored that sounds of shock coming from behind her as she adjusted the bag she strapped over her shoulder and between her wings. She quickly made her way towards Class 1-A ignoring all the looks from the upperclassmen she passed, keeping her wings folded in tight so she didn't bump anyone with them.

Soon she arrived at the class and went to open the door. As she did she was met with the lovely sound of poppers going off. Raven's instincts took over and she jumped back while her wings flared out. She looked into what she could see of the classroom and at the students she could see, she then looked at the doorway and saw the poppers which caused her to frown. Raven refolded her wings before quickly walking to the back taking the seat furthest from the other girl just so she could have room for her wings and because she was embarrassed by what had just happened. She was just happy she hadn't pulled her swords out of the bag that was on her back, which she had now taken off and set down beside her leaning it against the desk so the swords were leaning against the desk. With that Raven looked around the classroom once more taking note of each and every student, her face remaining emotionless as she did so. Her thoughts partially on those around her and partially on how she was going to recover from that embarrassing entrance.
Name: Raven Kiroshi

Gender: Female

Age (14-16): 15

Appearance (include height and weight):
height - 5'4"
weight - 115 lbs

Costume: Her costume is what she has on in her pic

Personality: Raven tends to come off as emotionless, cold, and scary to those who only just look at her and take in her big dark wings, horns, and typical resting face. But to those who actually get to know the girl will know she is quite the opposite. Raven is quite a warm and caring individual her curse having humbled her in a way to know that you can't ever just simply judge anyone as many people have come from different walks of life and gone through many different things to get to where they are today. She is also fiercely protective of those she cares for plus she has a slight feisty/competitive streak to her that definitely is a part of her fierce protectiveness but also it's own thing entirely. Raven also comes across as strong and someone who just brushes off verbal abuse that comes from people who judge her based on her looks but that is a false cover as her wings and horns have always been something she has struggled with. She has mostly accepted the rest of her quirk, minus the dark souls, but she can't accept her physical traits because she to her it will always separate her from everyone else.

Quirk: Cleverly named 'The Valkyrie's Curse' by a soul of an old man, that had the quirk of simply having cat ears, who gave her advice when she was about 9 on what to do about the teasing of the physical attributes of her quirk which lead into her basically opening up to the man about the darker side of her quirk which led to the naming. 'The Valkyrie's Curse' caused Raven to be born with wings and horns which is all her family thought she would have to deal with. But eventually, it was found out that her quirk also has her talking to the soul's of the dead people and overall enhanced her attributes(strength, speed, agility, flexibility, durability, and stamina). She only learned of her soul sword ability when she met the soul of a young woman from France who had the same quirk as her and was only able to speak with Raven long enough to tell her of that and not answer her question on what to do about the evil souls that speak to her, much to Raven's chagrin. Raven only tried summoning the sword once and stopped halfway through due to being caught by her mother and thus causing her mother to faint at the sight of her daughter pulling a sword out of her chest.

Quirk Flaws: The main flaw in her quirk, also the reason as to why her quirk is called 'The Valkyrie's Curse'... she can speak to the dead. The newly dead can communicate with her and know she can hear them and occasionally see them depending on how recently they died and how close she is to where they died. Some want her to pass on messages to their loved ones, some want her to avenge them, some want her to finish something they started, and others just want someone to talk to as they wait for their chance to leave the plane of existence they are stuck in. Then there are those who just torture her with dark words, horrifying tales. These are the souls of the evil people who found their way to her. The souls of the people who did bad things in their life don't get to leave as quickly as the others. Dependent on what they did, they could be there for years. For those, she can't really do much about them other than receiving constant cleansings, be blessed constantly, and carry around items to ward away the bad souls but that doesn't always work... there are always those few that get around the things she does to keep them away. She keeps this part of her quirk generally to herself as in her past it has only ruined her friendships and even strained her relationship with her family.

Another flaw comes when she wishes to use her soul sword. The sword is a literal physical embodiment of her soul thus she drains a good amount of energy when drawing it out and then is putting her soul and self in harms way as if it were to be taken, damaged, or, even worse, broken... all those things would happen to her soul. If taken she will basically become a shell of a person, yes she will live but her soul isn't with her thus she isn't whole. If it is damaged then she will be damaged mentally and emotionally, but with time a damaged soul can be fixed and she will eventually return to normal though in a way scars still remain(which will show as marks on the sword). If the sword is broken, well she may live for some time longer but if the sword is not restored then slowly she will fade, her soul a necessary part of her life and afterlife, so she will just fade as her soul no longer exists.

Quirk Limitations: She is only as strong as she has trained herself to be. Yes her quirk may have slightly enhanced her strength past normal human strength but only for the age she is at, thus she must train to raise her strength. Same goes for speed, stamina, agility, flexibility, and durability. Raven also has to train herself in flight and the use of her wings and currently struggles with tight turns while flying and leveling out quickly when diving. That typically ends with her in the infirmary when she tries the diving.

--Optional information--

The reason they want to be a hero: After being exposed to so many souls of the innocents killed by villains at a young age she came to dislike the number that only increased day by day. It was after comforting the soul of a young five-year-old girl that Raven decided she wanted to help do something about the innocents dying.

Likes: Swords, Fights(For the right reason, not just to fight), being outdoors, heights

Dislikes: Dark Souls, people teasing the physical parts of her quirk, small spaces, underground (she is claustrophobic so think things that would trigger that)

Skills: She took a liking to swords at a young age, constantly stealing her older brother's play swords to play with. Since her stealing her brother's swords at a young age typically ended with him using his quirk to shock her and Raven's parents didn't like the idea of their little girl fighting they signed her up for dance classes. Those didn't last long as the wings did not make her a very graceful dancer plus the day they got to use ribbons she decided to use hers as a sword and got in trouble. After many other girly classes at a young age all ending poorly they eventually signed Raven up for a class that would teach different forms of fighting along with the virtues to fighting. Through this class, that she took and leveled up in throughout her childhood and into her middle school years, Raven learned how to fight with and without swords. She got better and better until she consistently was able to beat the teacher, the girl just had a knack for fighting and the teacher couldn't be prouder of his pupil. It was from him that Raven was given the two swords she uses for fighting.
