Stella had more questions when he said Roman and Greek versions, but she was too caught up in her sadness and sniffling. Her fathers had bid her off with hugs and kisses, and loving goodbyes, and now she wasn't sure that she would see them again for a while However, she did perk up a bit when he said that that she could go home eventually, but maybe after learning how to defend herself. That did make sense, that manticore from earlier was pretty determined to kill her and the other girls. She hiccuped for a moment and then took another sip of her cocoa when a small group of people arrived.

"Nice to meet you, I'm Stella Herbalem... and uh... is it okay if I don't know whom my mom is yet? Chiron said she'll probably claim me later or something?" She gently reached out and shook Kristin's hand and looked at the trio again. She lifted her hand to her mouth and started to chew as if guided by some bad instinct. Her old bad habit was kicking in because of her nerves. What if her mother never claimed her? What if her dad's hated her because it turned out her mom was a goddess? It didn't even occur to her that they might already know that.

"I'll be more than happy to bake some goods for you then, when we get back, Arnora." Lara blushed a bit at that, as she was excited to be able to cook for someone again. She had done it before, and it always made her so happy. Of course those thoughts reminded her of her beloved... and she still prayed that she wouldn't see him if they entered Helheim. She... she had fought so hard and if she saw that he died young it would break her all over again. She sighed at that and then shook those thoughts out of her mind. That was another lifetime ago. Here she was now, sneaking around Niflheim, and watching as they snuck past the jotunn and dragur.

"Awesome, a boat." Astrid smiled at that as they got into the boat, and she tried to keep the cloak around them, but it would be hard to cloak the boat, so hopefully the creatures there wouldn't notice the little boat drifting off into the sea. The cloak could only do so much and she hoped that they wouldn't have to paddle the little boat, or that would blow their cover for sure.

Lara paused when she realized that Arnora wanted them to get into the boat. After her last experience with being on a boat, she was terrified to get in another one, especially one that looked smaller and less reliable than the last one. However, they did need to get Arnora into the water, so she could go freeze the boat. So after a moment of trying to convince herself she stepped into the boat with the others and then went still as she moved towards the middle, and kept herself there.

Astrid did notice Lara pause a bit as they went to get into the boat, but she didn't have time to worry about something like that. So, once everyone was in the boat she made sure that they were firmly wrapped up in the cloak and then she nodded to Arnora. "Alright then, when you're ready you can set us off into the water, right? Or are we gonna have to paddle?" She looked at the oars and then at the group. "We can probably try to row under the cloak, but it will be risky."

Stella gently held the warm mug of the hot chocolate in her hands and listened as Chiron explained what the camp was and why being what she was was dangerous. She sipped the cocoa and then looked up at him and took another deep breath before speaking. "What I meant about the girls was that they seemed to be fighting with one another rather than just the monster. Marygold seemed nice, Leandra seemed... I dunno what to say... it just... it seemed they didn't like one another even while they were both helping me. I mean I get that people are like that but I was wondering if it might be more than just that."

She took another sip before she spoke again. "So... I'll get to know who my mother is then? Why I can do the things I do with plants? When ever I asked my dads they just said I was blessed... or... a gift. Their gift. I mean I love my dads and I do want to go home to see them, but... will monsters hurt them too?" She looked worried at that as she set the mug down. "Do... does that mean that I can never see them again?" She teared up at that as she sniffled again. The thought of never being able to see her dads again hurt more than any part of her body. She had been running at the insistence of that satyr and now she was being told she might never go home? It was too much for her.

"Alright then, everyone under the cloak then." Astrid undid the clasp around her neck and then wrapped it around the four of them, and they seemingly vanished from the sight of anyone else. They could still see one another under the cloak, but that was it. They would still need to be quiet, and not make any loud sounds. She was mostly quiet as she focused on keeping the cloak around them all, and avoiding the sight of the giants at that point.

"If we finish this, and return to the Hotel you mean? If that's what you're asking then I might try to bake some goodies or just relax a bit... what about you?" Lara looked at Arnora and offered her a small smile. She did make sure to speak softly so that only the four of them could hear her as they walked. She noticed the smoke as well and frowned at that. Smoke meant fire, and fire was most likely a campsite for the dragur and jotunn they were trying to avoid.

Astrid mostly frowned a bit, as she knew her plans would be different as she was still living, compared to the other girls with her. She probably would go home, make up some excuse for missing school and try to go on with life. There were some days it was easier to keep up the dual life but sometimes it was harder. This was going to be one of the harder days, as she knew if she died here, there wouldn't be anyone to welcome her to Valhalla.

"The river is getting wider. Where do you want to go in Arnora?" Lara spoke softly as she noticed that the river was getting wide and wider as it lead out into the sea more. She knew that Arnora would dive in soon, and they needed to figure out what the three of them above the water would be doing. Probably keep defending the spot Arnora went in, as she would most likely come back to it when she was done.

"A centaur... huh. Like the one in the stars? Or that movie? The Disney one with just music and no words?" Stella offered Chiron a small smile and then blinked as he moved into the wheelchair contraption and his horse half vanished. "Pity, I was liking the horse half... why hide it like that?" Stella always had a habit of thinking aloud, so anyone could hear what she was saying at the moment.

She looked up at Rosie and waved. "Stella... nice to meet you too." She watched as Rosie walked off and then sat down on one of the couches and took a deep breath. "I have like a ton of questions. First, is this about my mom? Is she the Greek God you said I'm part of? I mean that would make sense... dad and otou-san always clammed up when I would ask where I came from because I know I'm not adopted. I'm their kid... no matter what anyone else says. Also what's an oracle, why do I need to be here, why is it safe for me here rather than back home and what the heck was that thing that was chasing me and why were those two girls fighting while trying to help me?"

"Sounds good to me then, let's follow the river then." Astrid smiled at that as she gently summoned her spear, just in case anything happened. It was best to be prepared, rather than unprepared. She followed Arnora as they walked through the forest, and she could feel the cold as well. She tugged her cloak around herself more and more, as she kept her swan cloak mostly in its cloak form. She saw the river as well and then smiled a bit at that as she had a feeling it would connect to a bigger body of water.

"Alright then, following the river then..." Lara trailed off as she felt the ground shake and then saw the giants in front of them and paused at that. It seemed that they were out of luck, as the giants wouldn't be an easy fight. She was trying to think of a plan when Astrid spoke up, well more whispered to the group.

"We could sneak around the group using my cloak, but we would have to be careful. This is a small enough group that we can all hide under it, but it doesn't always muffle all sound." Astrid went to unclasp her cloak from around her shoulders and then looked at the rest of the group. "We will have to huddle together. I hope that is alright with the three of you." She wouldn't attempt to drape her cloak over the four of them until they all agreed to it.

"I'm alright with that. It does mean we'll all be warmer at least." Lara nodded at that as she scooted in closer to the Valkyrie, as well as Elizabeth and Arnora. When she felt her arm brush against Arnora's she blushed a bit at that and then looked off to the side. She wasn't going to say anything else for the moment, but she did gently keep her hand on her necklace. She was ready just in case they needed to attack at a moment's notice.

Stella looked at the half-man, half-horse for a moment before grinning widely. "Woah... that's cool! I've never met a horse person before! As for being safe... Thanks, I guess. I mean it's mostly due to Marygold and a bit of the other person that I'm okay." She turned to looked at Marygold and smiled brightly at her. "I'm Stella, pleasure to meet you!" She grinned at that as she had decided that she really liked Marygold. The jury was out on the other girl, Leandra, but the jury came back as Leandra praised her and then said that she should have the tail.

"I didn't kill the monster, so I shouldn't get it. Marygold killed it, so I think she earned it. Duh." Stella was indeed still a blunt twelve year old. She didn't believe she deserved that tail, as all she had done was what she had been doing for a long time. Asking the plants for help, and they helped her. She wasn't sure what the other girl meant about abilities, but she turned back to the man that had introduced himself as Chiron and nodded.

"Alright, lead the way then... but um, can you tell me more about where I am other than just the name? All I know was that I was told I have to come here by the satyr... and that it has something to do with my mom." She sighed a bit as she looked up at Chiron. "I'll see you later!" She waved to Marygold and the other girl, and then turned to follow Chiron.

Lara nodded at Elizabeth and then smiled a bit. She was glad the other woman was feeling a bit better, she had been worried they were going to lose her, but it seemed that she'd be with them for a while longer. "I can keep an eye on your back while you're underwater, just please do not ask me to join you in it. That is all I ask." She offered Arnora a smile, even as she bit back her fear again. For Arnora, she would jump in deep water to help her, but she didn't want to. She could see the darkness in it, even now, and the fact that there were dragur around still didn't quell her fear at all.

"I don't think my horse could fit four people on it, sadly. He's big, but not that big. Sorry. I can use my cloak to sneak onto the ship maybe, though we've said that's a bad idea, just one of use sneaking on. Though... hmmm..." Astrid paused in thought as she was trying to figure out something. She didn't have the demi-god skills they had, all she had was her own skills. However, she could sneak and fight.

Lara paused as she thought as well as she went through several plans, all of them worse than the last. It was hard enough that it was just the four of them, but of the four, her skills were useless here. Unless she could make dragur make a promise to not hurt them, but that didn't seem to be something that would happen ever. They would have to talk for one, and for two they would have to be given a good reason why they'd stop attacking their query.

"I think we go with your plan, with you freezing the boat and the three of us keeping an eye on your back in the water. Does that work for all of you?" Astrid looked around the group and noticed that Lara was nodding. She nodded as well and went to pull out her spear, and her shield, getting ready just in case anyone decided to attack before Arnora could get under the water.

From seemingly nowhere in the forest first came out this rather pink wearing blonde teenager that Stella just blinked at for a moment while the teenager pulled out her bow and arrow. Just as she was about to say that she could handle herself, that the teenager had no idea what she was capable of, another teenager appeared, and Stella instantly felt like she could trust her. She wasn't sure why, but maybe it was the fact that they had the same reddish hair, and greenish eyes.

"Uh, okay..." She said just before the satyr she was with picked up her hand again and nearly dragged her into the treeline. "Wait I wanna help them! That thing has been chasing us for a while and it's my fault..." Her protests were cut off as they went through a barrier that Stella had not noticed before. There wasn't really anything that looked different, it just felt different on the other side.

She could still see the two teenagers, well one teenager and one snow leopard fighting the creature that had been chasing her. She could see the blonde was injured and she knew that was on her. With a gentle tug, she removed her hand from the Satyr's grasp and she got down on her knees and shoved her hands into the snow. "C'mon... please work!" She focused and as she focused, the grass burst forth from under the snow and thickened into vines that tangled up the manticore and kept it pinned in place, making it a much easier target. "YES!"

"Sounds good to me." Astrid wasn't about to argue with Arnora at that moment, especially since she was the one with more experience, or so it seemed to her. After all, she was a Valkyrie, she was use to dealing with the dead, and bringing them to Valhalla. She had been out on a few missions like this before, but this one was bigger than any of the other ones it seemed. This one had a heavy price hanging over it. So, they would figure it out once they got out of the cave.

Lara kept mostly quiet, holding the torch in her hand, and looked around as she kept supporting Elizabeth at that point. She could see the light as well and that made her smile, as it seemed they were close to finding a way out. She followed Arnora out of the cave and grinned a bit at that as she felt the wind hit her face, and the snow as well. They had found the way out, the way that would help them figure out where to go next.

"Alright, we're out... we need to figure out what to do next. Do you think that we can freeze the boat in place with your magic, Arnora?" Lara looked at her friend and relaxed a bit, and then to Elizabeth. "You can also maybe help? But only if you feel up to it. It seems that it might be a good idea for you to keep your energy for recovering." She knew that Elizabeth might be doing better, but that didn't mean that she was fully recovered yet.

"Hmm we should figure out a good plan before we charge in... I can summon my horse if you want. However... as you said that might be a bad idea. So what all do we have in terms of strengths and weapons?" Astrid was going to do her best to help them figure out how they could stop the boat from leaving, or if it did leave, they would be on it.
