Mike was a little peeved that his ace monster had been bounced back once again by his opponent. "For a pendulum user, you sure are afraid of pendulum monsters." Mike joked. This was, of course, before he took the full assault from all of Tekkan's monsters. At that point, he was knocked away, his shirt dirtied.

His lifepoints were knocked down to zero and with no cards in hand or in his control that could save him, Mike was down for the count, and he didn't seem to like it very much. "Votre stratégie était boiteuse, crisse." he spat in his strange, foreign tongue, very obviously peeved.

@Blight Bug

"ERROR. ERROR." the professor exclaimed as his boss monster was destroyed.

"END BATTLE. ENTER MAIN PHASE TWO. END PHASE. IT IS YOUR TURN." he declared, with no moves.
There were a couple of things wrong with that post, but at the time I was still getting out of the work groove and into the roleplay groove. It's all edited now.

@Satoshi Kyou
[@Eklipse] needs a duel partner. Might want to look for him.
@Satoshi Kyou

You and Manapool could duel since you're already next to each other.

"Gotta say. You're pretty good. Sorry I had to take out your field like that but again, I kinda like winning." Mike said sheepishly. "Anyways. I don't have any more cards in my hand so I'll just end my turn. Go ahead."

@Blight Bug

"SYNCHRO SUMMON... ANALYSIS. YOUR SYNCHRO SUMMON IS WEAK. DRAW!" Professor Furiko exclaimed, a card materializing before him. "PENDULUM SUMMON! FROM MY EXTRA DECK, DESKBOT ZERO-ZERO-SEVEN IN DEFENSE MODE! NORMAL SUMMON, DESKBOT ZERO-ZERO-ONE! LEVEL ONE TUNER DESKBOT ZERO-ZERO-ONE, LEVEL TWO DESKBOT ZERO-ZERO-TWO, AND LEVEL SEVEN DESKBOT ZERO-ZERO-SEVEN! SYNCHRO SUMMON! LEVEL TEN DESKBOT JET."

Deskbot 001 vanished into a flash of light, molding into a green circle. The other two robots followed suit, changing into a total of nine glowing orbs. Then, appearing as a result, what appeared to be a pencil case with 001, 002, and 006 inside piloting it.

"NEXT. I WILL ACTIVATE THE EFFECT OF DESKBOT JET. I CAN TARGET 1 "DESKBOT" CARD I CONTROL AND 1 FACE-UP CARD ON THE FIELD, DESTROYING BOTH. I WILL CHOOSE DESKBOT ZERO-ZERO-FIVE IN MY PENDULUM ZONE AND YOUR FACE-UP REVIVED KING HA DES. DESTROY." Deskbot Jet flew toward the pillar Deskbot 005 was on, the robot hopping in. It climbs into one of the pencil-guns, before being launched out of it and toward Pyramid Turtle, destroying it.

Powerless under the might of Ha Des, Pendulum Machine had crumbled, its hull crushed like a tin can as the blade fell off of it and onto the ground, disappearing into a mist of glowing digital stuff followed by the rest of the machine's body. The professor was unfazed and unimpressed, as one might expect.

Mike wiped his mouth and rolled his shoulders. "Draw!" he shouted gleefully before looking at the card and placing it in his hand. He thumbed through the two cards, though he had known from the start what his plan was going to be.

"Well then... I'll discard one card from my hand to activate the effect of Guitaar in my pendulum zone!" Mike threw one card into his graveyard, the guitar wielding guitar lighting up and playing a riff. "Come on out! Symphonic Warrior Miccs!" An anthropomorphic microphone tore itself out of the ether and onto the field with a loud screeching noise amplified by the amplifier behind them.

"Next, I'll summon Symphonic Warrior Basses in attack mode! I now possess a tuner monster. Therefore... Level 1 tuner Symphonic Warrior Basses and level 5 Symphonic Warrior Miccs! Spit fire upon this wretched Earth and show that rock and roll is not mere noise pollution! Rock on!" Mike chuckled, shaking his head; "Symph Amplifire's effect activates! I can remove seven out of the nine Symphonic Tokens I currently control and banish monsters on your side of the field or in your graveyard equal to the amount of Symphonic Warrior cards on the field! That number is three! Therefore, three of your cards are banished! That means Champion, Noble Viscount, and Ignition Phoenix are all gone!"

Mike ran to his Miccs, holding onto its shoulders. The monster flew upward to the amplifier where all the buttons were, turning its back to them so that Mike could press the play button. Then, blasting out of Symph Amplifire were the sounds of guitar and bass accompanied by loud screeching which could only be assumed to be produced by Miccs. The sound waves are enough that Tekkan's monsters completely vanish.

"Sorry about that, but I do kinda like winning. So. That monster you sent back now returns with a vengeance! Level 6 Symphonic Warrior Saxxes!"

Returning from the extra deck was Saxxes, wielding his two saxophones proudly, and from Mike's deck, another Symph Amplifire.

"Saxxes! Attack his life points directly!"

@GarlandDaHero

How many lifepoints are you at?
@manapool1

Sure dude.

For everyone else, rules for deck changes have been added to the OP as well as additional player-made custom cards and a list of characters that have been eliminated from the battle royale.

Also, on an unrelated note. I gave Furiko a Deskbot deck thinking nobody in the anime would use it. Literally the next day when the new Arc-V episode comes out, we see the blue haired kid nobody cared about ever with Deskbots.

On another note:
my graveyard isn't allowed to have any monsters in it

This is patently false. Tiaramisu requires you to have monsters in the grave to even work.
@Blight Bug

The professor clicked and whirred. "PARSING..." it droned... "YOUR STATEMENT IS FALSE. I END THE BATTLE PHASE. ENTER MAIN PHASE TWO. END PHASE..."

For a professor, it didn't seem the professor actually did much. There could be some ulterior motive, however, it was difficult exactly getting a read on him for what might be obvious reasons.

It was the turn of the Ghoulish Rider - Traveler of the Highway to Hell.

@GarlandDaHero

Mike was clearly knocked back from the last blow. What was once two monsters on the field had become zero and the state of the game had turned in Tekkan's favor.

"Wow! That was cool!" Mike picked himself up and dusted himself off. With a smirk, he responded. "If this were a normal duel, I'd have been a goner!" he stated, a holographic image showing his lifepoints at 3300.
@Menhir@Ryik

Ruling on Curse Transfer since it's an anime card.

Curse Transfer, Vanity's Emptiness, and Box of Friends are all in the same chain.

Box of Friends is first on the chain (special summon monsters) (Chain Link 1), then Vanity's Emptiness was activated on top of that (Chain Link 2), and Curse Transfer over that (Chain Link 3).

Curse Transfer resolves, negating the effect of Vanity's Emptiness and gaining its effect for itself. Vanity's Emptiness is negated. Because they are on the same chain, however, Curse Transfer is on the field while Box of Friends activates. At that moment, Curse Transfer is still active with the effect of Vanity's Emptiness. The effect of Box of Friends does not resolve.

@GarlandDaHero@Blight Bug

I'm working on a response for you guys right now.

@Thecrash20

I'm still waiting for you.

I'm ending the arc once there's only one player character standing and may or may not have them duel an NPC for the first place spot but most likely not.
