Bio

Old and beaten hat, don't take anything I say to heart because it only rarely comes from my own. Been waving around this RP stick for 12+ years, and if there's one thing I've learned it's that keeping things interesting is top dog. I'll take a character who is interesting and challenging for both me and the plot over the same group of misfit archetypes any day of the week. Plots follow the same rules. Unless it breaks the mold somehow, I'm just not that into it. Yoroshiku Onegaishimasu

Unfortunately we're just starting up the IC now, and I've sorta finalized our slots for the moment, so I think I'll have to class us as full.

Still, If we've still got all of our members after a week or two, it'll be the first time I've seen that in RPG history, so if you don't mind waiting in the reserves for a bit, I can contact you when a spot opens up.
Alright, made an executive decision. The story will start getting the call for the initial run, which was more or less my initial plan. Everyone will be in the common area doing whatever, and if your character was doing something before the arranged meeting time, you're free to write that in your first post or whatever you like. Since it took a bit for me to decide, IC won't be up until tomorrow.
I'm not opposed to the idea of starting near the end of a run so we could get some action for one or two rounds, but after that I'd want to kick back into the main gear. BB I'm not sure how I'd implement your idea, but I'll give it a bit more thought.
No problem Ref, thanks for letting me know. There'll be time next week if I don't get it up before you leave, so don't worry about that.
I won't rush, but I feel pretty strongly that I want to get the whole group started. I'm enjoying your posts, but I can't wait too long just to accommodate you when this is just a side story with only two people involved, y'know? There will be room to work in collabs and flashbacks if you want even when the IC itself is started. And sometimes mystery is a powerful writing tool for character development, etc. So I'll start it in a day or so, and don't feel too broken up if you can't post your stuff up before that happens. There will be a way to work it in.

Edit: Also I'd like to ask whether folks would rather dive right into the plot right away, or have a warm up/intro round of posts before the actual story kicks in. I'm easy either way. You can use the extra post to do some stuff and make your way to the common area of home base, or if people prefer, I'll just launch right into a call and assume we've all just been sitting around waiting for contact.
Since it looks that just about everything is set up, when does the IC proper start?

Since it doesn't seem like we're gonna get any more people than we have, and i like the structure of our group here, I'll start the IC either later tonight or tomorrow (Basically whenever I finish writing it up.)

Also Az and BB, finally got some time to sit down with your vignettes, and I'm pretty impressed. I like your style(s) and I'll be happy to see that level of quality throughout the RP. Not the most constructive feedback, I know, but if something's actually off I won't hesitate to let you know. For now, I'm content with what's being offered.
My 'opinions' are done, and the first post has been edited to include the details on the previous run as well as a quick primer on your base and the surrounding area, so take a look if you're interested.

Az, as for your posts, I haven't been able to spend much time with them just yet, except the first one which I liked quite a bit. I may PM you with something a bit more constructive if I come up with something, but if I don't say anything, it's safe to assume you're totally fine. I like to leave people to post in whatever format appeals to them. This is advanced, so creativity should be encouraged, and trust between players should be pretty important. I trust that you can get the point of your post across in whatever way you think is best, so I don't specify a particular posting format. As long as you can tolerate it when somebody posts in a different style, people should be tolerant of you. That's my philosophy anyway.
I can provide some loose details about the last run, if folks are interested. Didn't leave it vague for any particular reason, just didn't seem important at the time, and I wanted to get the present runs figured out before I worried about the past. I won't flesh it out too much, and you guys can fill in your own details and how your characters were involved/affected, but just a few bullet points:

-It was a high paying job, the kind you don't really turn down, even if you've got a bad feeling. That said, you never saw any of it, since you had to get the hell out. Your usual Johnson called it your 'Expense budget.'

-You don't know all that much about Johnson. He's a dark-skinned human, seems close to his late 40s. He won't tell you his real name or who he's working for. Real old-fashioned type. He's all business most of the time, but he pays well and up until now, none of his jobs have really been a bust. You use him frequently because he's extremely good at tolerating your BS.

-The job was a prison break in Detroit, busting a client out of a Knight Errant holding facility. It was going smoothly, very little violence, but the client was a plant. He pulled a gun and the alarms were triggered right away.

-You had to fight your way out in full force. You managed to get out after a huge amount of hassle, but you were then informed that you needed to flee the country, which leads us to 'present day' so to speak. You're here waiting for your heat to cool down and for Johnson to make sure all his sources are in order.
Sure. I'm filling out my opinions segment, and after I'm done I'll whip up a quick floor plan for those interested. I'll even make a rough outline of the surrounding geography, what sort of amenities are nearby, etc. Just a quick deal, mind.
I won't put a restriction on folks if they want to rent their own rooms, but for the purposes of the RP, the condo will serve as 'home base.' There are rooms there if you want to stay there, but I can appreciate that some folks prefer privacy over some Nuyen or CAS bucks burning a hole in their pocket. What I will say is that at the opening of the IC, everyone will be gathered at the condo, since that's when you're supposed to be contacted.
