Old and beaten hat, don't take anything I say to heart because it only rarely comes from my own. Been waving around this RP stick for 12+ years, and if there's one thing I've learned it's that keeping things interesting is top dog. I'll take a character who is interesting and challenging for both me and the plot over the same group of misfit archetypes any day of the week. Plots follow the same rules. Unless it breaks the mold somehow, I'm just not that into it.

Thanks for the quick responses, fellas, I'm a bit reassured. I'll take a glance at that link when I've got a bit more time, but it does look pretty cool. For the record, I'm not averse to skype, as long as it's not all voice all the time. I'm not really a voice guy.
While I'm usually pretty leery about signing up for RPs that have been under way for a while (or in this case have multiple seasons) because from my experience, Vets of the RP don't really want any business with the new guy, and just want to continue whatever interactions they had between themselves, I will say that you've piqued my interest. If there's a quick and dirty way to play catchup on the lore from Season 1, I'll give it a shot.

Yeah, agreed. That's probably something we could have done with a little more practice. I have a habit of splicing dialogue into my fight scenes a lot to break up the huge paragraphs (fine for solo posts, didn't work quite as well here.) But yeah, I think we'll get more used to it. That beast stands as my first solo post, so it should improve with time and repetition.
Haha, wow, I was right, that is a monster. I guess that's just kinda what happens when you merge two posts into one.
I just saw your note in the Doc, Shon. I'll be reformatting it tonight. Beo, I'll leave your stuff to you, I'm just gonna go over and make the overall thing a bit less clunky to read through.

I suppose Gardevoir could speak in theory... I may work on that actually, I might have an idea. I'ma keep it under wraps until the time is right though.
Alright, now's a good time to say I've never actually worked on a joint post before so I don't really know if there's a structure or etiquette involved. As it stands, I pretty much just put up what I thought would be a good starting point for us to work together and get to the ship. Anything after that is potentially a reaction, I wanted to wait until you could put down what you wanted and we'll go from there. I should be online pretty much all day so we'll work on it when we've got the time I guess.
And with every post I turn my character into more of a shonen protagonist... I guess..? I didn't notice until it was already done. I guess she was shaped that way from the start, hahaha. At any rate I'll be gone for the day and drinking so I won't have another post today, much as I'd like to. I've posted drunk once before and it was a shamefur dispray.
