Name: Casimir Delatros
Codename: Abaddon
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Appearance (Human): Casimir stands at a good height of 5'10" and with a well built, formidable body. He isn't too bulky or anything, but he definitely has the looks of someone who works out regularly to condition and strengthen themselves. He has a brown skin tone and dark, mischievous eyes that may sometimes give off a sinister impression. His hair is kind of long, covering his ears and falling slightly below his neck, and it is also black and curly to the point where there seems to be several tiny snakes frozen in place.
Clothing varies obviously, but Casimir is usually wearing dark colored jeans, brown boots, and a black button-up shirt that isn't too fancy but nice in a sportsy sort of way. He also enjoys wearing a black pea coat, though he wears a red one too sometimes of he feels like it.
He has a dignified walk and presence to himself and has a bit of a smug expression. As vaguely mentioned before, his eyes, and also his face, almost have a sinister look to them in a conniving and a "I know something you don't" sort of way. For the most part though, he doesn't draw much *suspicious* attention to himself.
Appearance (Abaddon): Abaddon's appearance is a completely different story. He has a humanoid form, but definitely looks nothing short of a demon with his pitch black and semi-ethereal body. It is adorned with otherworldly streaks and patterns of crimson and gold, and these are known to glow during intense situations. Abaddon has wickedly sharp fangs in the place of teeth, and equally sharp claws have replaced all of the digits on his hands and feet. There are six slender wings coming from his back that are reptilian and insect-like in appearance, and another bewildering feature of Abaddon is the large, fanged mouth that appears along his stomach. Abaddon's stance is also more feral, allowing for easy transitions between walking or running upright to crawling and bounding on all fours.
Psychological Profile: Abaddon's got kind of a silly personality which would be a lot more "charming" if it wasn't ruined by his also twisted behavior. He plans out torturous ways to punish and kill the targets and enemies he relentlessly pursues, something that's made even worse by the fact that he thoroughly enjoys carrying the actual deeds out. It's brought concern to several League members already, which is why Abaddon sometimes does not get to the killing part of his playtime due to the League intervening and bringing subdued villains and criminals into custody.
When he's not being an all out psycho though, Abaddon (or in this case Casimir) can actually be quite normal barring the morbid jokes he makes from time to time and the ever "I know something you dont", sly and arrogant behavior he has going on. He acts like and enjoys many things a normal teen would enjoy like video games, eating, and reading.
Biography: There's no dramatic story to Casimir's life barring the fact he had a wonderful and riveting experience getting caught in a violent explosion. There's no joke about that as he'd tell you, and he was practically on the verge of death considering he began finding himself in a place that was clearly otherworldly. It was here where he was approached by a supernatural entity known as "Drevenon", but as terrifying and powerful as it might have looked, it was also in pretty bad shape much like Casimir was at the time. The being proposed the two bond together in order to survive, promising an ascension above his human nature and a wide array of powerful abilities that would make many tremble before him. Casimir, not really being in any position to bargain, accepted the offer and gladly at that. Why? Because even though there was no tremendous history to him, he had always held a wonder for and strong envy of metahumans. He felt inferior to them and hated the fact that he'd always be under their protection when superpowered villains came knocking. Casimir also grew up believing in the concepts of justice, vengeance, and punishment, but felt that they were not dealt properly to those who deserved them.
Casimir became Abaddon, an antihero that quickly caught the attention of supervillains and heroes alike with his grisly methods and terrifying abilities. The Brotherhood of the White were the first to be on his tail and were determined to subdue him until they realized he wasn't really using his powers in the name of evil like most dark creatures. The League came looking for him shortly afterwards and recruited him without much resistance on Abaddon's part, mostly because he thought it would be cool to work alongside other heroes. He has grown more and more disillusioned with them however and has begun harboring a particular spite towards the Brotherhood of Whit Magic...
As for Drevenon, it (or he, as the entity is masculine) is a powerful being from nightmarish realms called the Tenevric Realms. He is a king and judge of one of its spheres, or was at least until he was usurped and beaten by another Tenevric Lord. Needing to survive, it chose Casimir as a host, and the two eventually went back to the dark realms in order to reclaim Drevenon's proper place. Trekking through these realms was no easy task, but it did serve the "young" Abaddon as training grounds for his new powers. Abaddon defeated the Usurper Lord, took much of his knowledge and power, and then cast him out to an unknown abyss far from his own sphere of power. Abaddon now shares equal authority in Drevenon's dark place and has named it Sheol.
Powers:
Ascended Nature: Abaddon's physical capabilities (strength, speed, agility, etc) have been greatly increased, something which helps him hold his own against the more physically oriented metahumans around. His top speed isn't incredible, but he can clock in at around 60-70 mph. Abaddon's strength is a bit more impressive as he is able to handle up to 10 tons maximum. Agility coupled with increased perceptive abilities allow Abaddon to dodge speedy and multiple threats with ease, and his durability and endurance help him to take powerful hits should he fail to evade attacks properly. His enhanced sensory/perceptive traits also aid in detecting hidden threats and surprise attacks meant to catch him off guard.
Being partially non-corporeal, Abaddon is capable of spawning extra limbs and appendages from his body, along with simple weaponry such as sharp blades and blunt hammers. He can manipulate his whole body as well, becoming "liquid shadow", an amorphous and slither form. While all of these things are powerful in their own right, Abaddon's true strengths lie in his dark magic.
Devourer's Wrath: An overwhelming crimson energy, this is Abaddon's most common and likely most powerful attack since his other magics use it in some way as well. It "devours", or deteriorates and destroys anything it is used against, even things that are believed to be nigh indestructible. However, since everything obviously does have different levels of resilience, the rate of how quickly something is deteriorated varies. Natural and magical energies are especially vulnerable to the Devourer's Wrath, including supernatural entities since Abaddon's powers come from a supernatural plane of existence (the same concept of rate of deterioration applies here to however). A living thing subjected to the crimson power can resist it if they have a strong enough will, but it is extremely painful to endure nonetheless and it will eventually begin to burn them away. Abaddon usually projects this energy through his own body and in different forms such as spheres or "lightning", but it is possible for him to manifest it away from himself.
On a more supportive role, the Devourer's Wrath power can be infused into Abaddon's body, bolstering his physical attacks and making them deadly than before. Abaddon can use it as a powerful shield or aura too, capable of withstanding large amounts of damage before fading away. After it fades, Abaddon must wait for varying periods of time to be able to conjure it up this way again.
Tenevric Lordship: As mentioned in his bio, Abaddon is lord over Sheol, a sphere of the nightmarish Tenevric Realms. Drawing into its power, he is able to create rifts in the area he is in to taint it and warp it into a nightmarish version of itself. Horrors manifest themselves here, something Abaddon is grateful for as such a deed greatly drains him to the point where he must either "feed" or retreat entirely from battle. He is capable of transporting himself to Sheol, but uses it sparingly as he might have to wait for an entire day or even days at a time to be able to return to the wordly plane (or whatever realm he left in the first place). Also, the rifts on a less powerful scale can be used to project different attacks such as lashing tendrils, usually believed to belong to either him or the creatures that live within Sheol. "Tenevric Lordship" also includes the casting of curses and other malicious spells, but Abaddon has used this to summons swarms of devouring locusts, and only once as far as anyone knows.
Tartarean Terror: A more passive ability, this is essentially an aura of fear.
Skills: Abaddon is adept in physical combat, and his fighting style is vicious, sporadic, and almost instinctive to some degree. He is great at stealth and tracking, able to sneak around undetected and track anything so long as he has something good to start with.
Weaknesses: Abaddon has strange yet strong aversions to fire, concentrated heat, and powerful sounds. The first two are capable of weakening and wounding him, and they actually have an easier time piercing his defenses as powerful as they are. Powerful sounds can disorient and harm him as well, leaving him vulnerable to attacks and counterattacks.
Light Magic, at least powerful forms of it. "Regular" light magic will wear him down over time,
but true Holy Magic (the most powerful kind of light magic, or something close to this) will definitely hurt him and make him retreat when used repeatedly against him.
He is still a teenager as monstrous as he can be, and as such is still silly and a bit immature since he likes mocking his opponents and making jokes. He is also arrogant, not necessarily underestimating his opponents (though this can happen) but holding back what he can really do believing not much will be needed to handle a situation.
Feeding. Different from eating in the human definition, Abaddon must periodically feed on flesh or vitality in order to ensure the best consequences for himself.
Equipment/Resources: None unless you count the environment as one of them. There's a metal pipe on the ground? He'll have fun bashing someone's ribs in with that. A brick? Say goodbye to your face! An ice cream cone...? Eyes are a new flavor in town.
He does have a smartphone, but as far as anyone knows he just uses it to play games. Same with his handheld game system.
Occupation: High School student, even though he could easily leave on account of gaining worldly knowledge along with otherworldly.
Affiliations: The League
