How long had it been since Lady Violetta had left? Dar had no idea, he was too busy maintaining order and ensuring things were brought back to normal since she left him in charge. He, the remaining staff, and the students all were busy with their jobs. Even Aura had her own job to do, keeping the younger dragons calm and feeling safe. The earthquake had passed, and while the academy was unharmed for the most part, aside from an incident involving Night Glo, the townspeople were safe. The town had been damaged though, however, repairs were already in the works. Most of what the students would need from shops in town were repaired, homes were taking longer as they appeared to have taken more damage, which wasn't entirely surprising. Dar sighed as he sat at the desk, going over another report, So much damage. Another prime example of why we need to be careful with magic, hopefully this puts things in perspective for most of our students. I do hope Lady Violetta will return soon, it's getting near the time when new students will be arriving...perhaps I should call and find out what's going on. he thought to himself.
He reached for his phone and located Lady Violetta's number, pressing the button to dial, "Lady Violetta? It's Dar Knight, I was wondering if everything's alright where you are? We've been managing here quite well, the repairs to the town are taking a little longer than expected, but all the shops are up and running again. I've had Aura watch over the young dragons since you left, and Aurora's been helping to maintain some sort of calmness with the rest of the animals here. Of course, the students here have been doing what they can, but their limited knowledge can only do so much. I do keep encouraging them though. Speaking of students, I believe it's getting close to that time of year again, new students will be arriving soon. I was wondering if you had any news on when you'll be heading back?" he asked, taking a deep breath afterwards and awaiting her response.
