Ryoga stood before the Captains of the Gotei 13, or at least the majority of them. Some had business elsewhere but were already fully aware of the situation. He stood with his sword in front of him, his hands resting on the pommel of his sword as the tip of the sword gently pierced the wood. Ryoga took a deep breath then spoke with a deep voice "Captains...I've called you here for this meeting to make you aware of the state of our world and the balance between all. The Soul Society is suffering attacks from abnormal amounts of hollow along with some higher class of hollow...it's been reported that there are even menos grande slipping into the Soul Society. I don't think I need to tell you what we have to do about that problem...but to make our matters worse we have a few rogue Shinigami running around creating havoc which is the last thing we need right now with the current hollow crises. Then to top that off we have increased numbers of hollow in the human world, so our forces are going to be hard worked and spread thin...Captains...your Squads will be tested, we should fully expect to lose Shinigami during our efforts to regain balance and to stop the worlds bleeding into each other. The Squad 12 Captain, Juki Kakashi will be monitoring things and aiding in where our forces should be mainly focused as well as developing some new technology to aid in our combat of the hollows. This fight will not be easy, nor will it be quick."
Ryoga closed his eyes for a moment before he opened them again and continued to speak "Now go...prepare your Squads. I will issue the orders on where to dispatch your Squad members to as and when I receive information, it is up to you who you send to deal with these tasks...however be prepared to fight yourselves. There is no knowing what level of enemies may appear...You're all dismissed!" With that Ryoga dismissed the Captains, standing still and strong as he waited for the Captains to leave the Meeting hall
This is a smallish closed RP between some friends. We may accept people that show a real interest but they'd have to work for a higher position if that's what they sought. This RP will have some mature themes, mostly potential gore however.

Before the Gotei 13, before the Shinigami we know...there were those who kept balance between the worlds. Not much is known of those from before, their existence was erased from the history books along with their kind. The Shinigami have preached for millennia's that they're the ones that protect the balance between the worlds...this however is nothing more than a lie...a temporary fix that's been faulty and broken since it started. The Shinigami snuffed out those who's job it was to keep the balance, a true balance that kept hollows from spilling out of their world into the the humans world and the Soul Society.
The Shinigami tried to replicate this method with little success...their method has been flawed from the start and now it's about to bring an end to everything. The worlds have begun to fall apart and merge, everything crumbling and going out of control right before the Gotei 13's eyes. Their desperate attempts to keep the worlds in balance has led to them exterminating Souls and hollows in mass numbers in their foolish and pitiful attempt to try and keep the worlds from collapsing in on eachother. However no matter what the Shinigami do, they still feel just in their ways, everything they do is for the good or so they believe.
Those from before were not the only ones snuffed out by the Shinigami...

⚔ Respect the GMs - their word is law. ⚔ No God-modding, Meta-gaming or anything of the sort. ⚔ No killing off other characters unless permission is given by both a GM and the player. ⚔ If you join at least try to be active. If you struggle to keep active then please at least let us know so we can deal with the absence/lack of activity accordingly and so we do not assume you have abandoned the RP. Atleast let the GMs know if you're going to be away from the RP for a week or more, just so we know that you haven't left. ⚔ Gore and Mature themes are allowed to a certain extent but isn't the main focus of the RP. Anything sexual must fade-to-black and taken to PMs or ideally time skipped as this is very far from the main focus of the RP ⚔ You may create as many characters as you can handle, however CS's must be approved by a GM before you can role-play with that character. We recommend creating at least 2 characters so that if one becomes stuck in an interaction, you can still Role-play with the other. ⚔ Be sure that you give some notice in the OOC or PM before joining interactions between other players - they might have already had the interaction planned out and may not wish for an interruption. ⚔ If we feel you as a person will not fit into the RP, we have the right to reject you from the RP. We may also reject any characters we feel do not fit into the RP also. This however will be down to your attitude and how you act towards others and the GM's and if you are arguing something about your character with a GM that has been rejected/asked to change. ⚔ It is the GM's duty to review CS's and as such their opinion is the only opinion that should be given unless the player of said CS has requested constructive criticism from other members of the roleplay. We do not want people who have no part in the reviewing part of a CS involved, the GM's are more than capable of deciding what works and is allowed/ what isn't allowed in their RP ⚔ Lastly Have Fun! Here I will explain a few of the things that factor into the RP.

these ranks also act as a direct link to how powerful your character is. Note: Head Captain rank is usually held by a GM. However, should the Head Captain die/disappear the most suitable candidate will be chosen for the position. Another thing to note is that there will be a limited amount of Veteran Captains, these are Captains that have usually been a Captain for a very long time.
Masteries
A Mastery is when a Shinigami becomes extremely skilled in a combat area, these areas are: Zanjutsu (Swordsmanship), Hakuda (Hand to Hand), Kido (Demon Arts/Spells): Hado/Bakudo, and Hoho (Step Method). A Shinigami will have "Mastered" an area after learning nearly all of the skills in their chosen area. A Shinigami can be expert/proficient in other area's however we suggest you just ask a GM to do these parts for you as we fully understand this and it helps keep things clear.
Now each ranking of character has their limits as to how many masteries they can have.

The age system we have in place applies to souls born into the Soul Society. Not human souls sent to the Soul Society (which will likely be much younger in comparison to Shinigami age)

1000-1200 = 50 to 60

- These Skills are for easy reference and DO NOT have to be individually placed into your CS. You may however place some of your characters preferred skills in your CS if you wish to do so. Kido
Kido - is a form of Shinigami combat based on advanced spells. These spells are produced with strong Reiryoku and fall into two categories: Hadō for direct attacks, and Bakudō for battle support
Hakuda - is a close-combat style of fighting, in which one is unarmed and uses only one's body, and is one of the four basic fighting styles of the Shinigami.
Hoho - is a defensive style of fighting which relates to footwork, it is one of the four basic combat skills of the Shinigami. Hohō is an important skill for most Shinigami, which incorporates speed and agility. The skill level of Hohō can be enhanced and improved through concentration, training, and mastery of it.
(DISCLAIMER: Just because a skill is Squad exclusive doesn't mean that skill can only be held by a member of that Squad. If the Captain wishes, they can teach their Squad exclusive skill to other members of other Squads, to encourage interaction.)

The School that resides deep in the supposedly Haunted and Cursed forest at the base of a sheer Mountain that is said to be home to the Demon collector of Souls
The School is known for it's bad reputation as it supposedly "consumes" the souls of those that enlist in the school, however myth has it that these poor souls never make it to the school and are instead picked off by demons that lead them to the forest due to their victims curiosity in learning the "Demon Arts". However this is all but a Myth and some people have emerged from the forest alive and well and with vast knowledge of Demon Arts, some have gone on to become among the most famous and skilled demon hunters in the land. The School however has a shady history and it's Masters have always been shroud in secrecy.
The Schools founder and most experienced practitioner founded the School only a hundred or so years ago and is said to be a demon that had gained some real form of intelligence and used the school in order to lure souls to his lair. However the original demon is said to be long gone and no longer of this world...yet some claim he is very much alive and living amongst the people, plotting something sinister. This however is purely a rumour as the School is known to have had a few Masters take the helm, it's current Master may very well be one it's greatest which has lead to a recent surge of applications.
Takeshi Shinda
Takeshi Shinda, A man who is not of this land, A man who has travelled far from a distant land in order to learn more of this world. Takeshi wanted to explore the world, however upon arriving in China and hearing about a school that taught Demon Arts he couldn't help but enlist and witness for himself the power of Demon Arts. Takeshi is considered a prodigy in Demon Arts, his Master, the now previous and deceased Master remarked on how fast Takeshi learned and grew in strength, showing nothing but passion for the Demon Arts and embracing them fully. Not much is known of the fate of the Schools previous Master however rumour amongst the school is that it's previous Master challenged Takeshi to a Death Match in order to have Takeshi unwillingly take over the school due to Takeshi's wishes to leave to go and travel the world once again...The schools previous Master saw this as a waste of his time and talents and thus gave his life in a vicious battle in order to have Takeshi stay at the school and become it's next Master...however some simply say that Takeshi went mad with the incredible amount of Demon Arts he had learned and killed his Master in cold blood in order to take his position.
Now that Takeshi is the Master of this school and has been for the past 5 years it has seen a great increase in applications which Takeshi personally hates since he'd much rather laze around...since becoming the Schools Master, Takeshi has seemingly become much more lazy as a result of him being unable to travel the world. The School now has a deadly reputation as people are often reported missing and this would be true...they simply could not handle Takeshi's strict training and thus would either succumb to death or attempt to leave the school...this is forbidden and those that do attempt to run away are hunted down and killed in cold blood before they can even escape the forest. Whilst Takeshi is lazy he is also extremely serious about protecting the School and it's teachings and he will not tolerate those who are unable to hack it.
Takeshi only allows those that have sworn their souls to him and the School to ever graduate and go on to greater ventures. Out of the hundreds of applicants over the years only 3 have graduated and over 92% have gone missing...and yet...despite this the School still receives applications from people who believe they have the strength and will to learn the Demon Arts. This may be down to the word of how Takeshi is the schools most successful master, having learned over 200 Demon Art techniques...Apparently Takeshi is responsible for creating over 100 of these techniques and is apparently in possession of a skill that could wipe out a good portion of the land...They're not called Demon Arts for nothing.
Sample of Demon Arts Techniques
Demon Art #87 ~ A Technique that allows the practitioner to fire an extremely powerful wave of artificial ice that will all but engulf and freeze everything before it. This Technique is known to be one of the strongest Ice type Demon Arts and can have very negative effects on it's user should it be used incorrectly or without proper training. Many Students have lost their arms to this technique...although artificially created Ice it still has deadly effects.
Demon Art #45 ~ This Technique allows the practitioner to fire artificial lightning from their palm in a large beam that is said to leave it's victim with severe burns and shock.
Demon Art #71 ~ This Technique allows the practitioner to create a small projectile of condensed spirit energy above their middle finger which is held back by their thumb in a way that appears as if the user is going to flick the projectile. Upon "firing" this projectile it flies at immense speed and creates a large and powerful explosion upon contact, the shockwave alone can break bones and send a person flying far.
Demon Art #66 ~ This Technique allows the practitioner to manipulate their spirit energy and use it to form a make shift weapon that has great cutting power, these weapons can vary from a simple sword to a Scythe.
Demon Art #4 ~ This Technique is simple and allows the practitioner to simply push objects with an invisible force, however as it's user becomes stronger and masters more control this skill can actually be quite devastating. It has been seen being used in such a way that it actually blew a hole through someones body and sent them flying.
Demon Art #68 ~ This Technique allows the practitioner to create a long and thick chain of spirit energy that can wrap around it's victim and bind them in place making it difficult for the victim to escape or even move, Physical strength alone will not guarantee you freedom however those with exceptional strength have been known to break this technique through sheer strength.
These are only 6 of the 200+ Demon Arts that exist. All Demon Arts call upon the use of Spirit energy.
Well yeah I'm going to be a bit harsher on slacking replies. If even after a day that person hasn't responded to say a mission they are on then they will be PM'd and notified that they have been removed from the mission etc. If that person doesn't reply for a week without notice their character will be killed off. Problem is that Bleach RP's need to keep moving at a steady to fast-ish pace to get anywhere and stay interesting to people, something that makes you want to keep checking the RP.
Custom skills will be allowed but probably bring that in a bit later into the RP, likely sometime early next year. Let people settle in a bit first etc.

Edit: Just want to mention that of course if someone has a good reason to not reply to keep things moving then we will likely extend the reply duration to two days or they could just bow out of the mission but that really doesn't look good.
I'm just throwing this out there to see if any people are interested in a Bleach RP.
At the start only a few Squads will be open and Captained to encourage people to fill those few squads and then work their way into a Captain position for a different Squad. The reason for this is because I want people to earn those Captain positions, to see who is actually deserving of a Captains position. It may not be a long process at all, may be fairly quick if you prove yourself worthy. I understand this will discourage some people and that's fine, we really only want dedicated people who can post regularly and are able to make the time to post. Another benefit to people sharing the same few Squads is that it encourages interactions, builds relationships etc and makes involving people in arcs a lot easier.
As far as story goes we are going to run the Roleplay arc by arc, not all will link together, but we feel this is the best since it keeps things faster paced and interesting.
As far as posting quality, length and speed go.
Quality is simple. Aslong as you can make sense and give the people you are RPing with something decent to reply to then that's fine.
As far as length goes? I'm not strict there. I'd like at least two sentences, at least.
As for posting speed? I honestly don't mind, aslong as it isn't back and forth few liners then all is good. I don't expect everyone to read every post, that's more the GM's job. Important posts will be listed and highlighted so people know where to look to see what important events have happened.
As far as races go people will mainly be playing Shinigami. Other races will become playable for some during certain arcs and only during those arcs, with some special cases allowing those characters to be played after arcs.
Annnnd with that all said Questions? I also plan to post this very soon depending on interest.

Just want to throw this out there though that people can be as creative as they want with their powers since this is anime/manga inspired (I personally don't mind RL pictures since it's all just a rough detail of how the person looks xD)
Also although we use the term super soldier they do not have to be the traditional soldier you're used to, however if that's what you want then that's completely fine xD
This is a fan made RP that combines elements from many different stories, anime's, tv shows etc. This RP is very much a multi-verse RP in terms of powers
Story so far
In the not so distant future, several countries around the world began collaborating in order to create the perfect soldier. They pooled together the human and monetary resources to create a science program, titled Project Genesis. The main purpose of this project is to create a serum that is able to enhance one's latent abilities, or to trigger undiscovered abilities one may have.
Japan and the United States, the co-leaders of the research, made a significant breakthrough. With Serum X01, they were able to enhance Soldier One, the first human subject of the experiment. Before the true extent of Soldier One's abilities can be fully quantified and recorded, Japan and the United States had a falling out, causing the project to come to a screeching halt. With the other participating countries, namely the United Kingdoms, German, Spain, Russia, China and France, fearing for their own safety, numerous other super soldier projects began to surface. Of course, United States and Japan carried on with their own research independent of each other.
With such a massive undertaking being carried out in a divided nature, programs began to shut down after some time. However, during this time, each country formed some sort of uneasy alliance with other countries within their region. Hence, the development of the Pan-American coalition, shortened to simply P.A.C., consisting of the United States, Canada, and Mexico, with smaller Latin and South American countries essentially included in the Coalition with their support for Mexico. The Euro-League, commonly referred to as E.L., consisted of the United Kingdom, Spain, France, Ireland, Portugal, German, and Italy. The Mediterranean Collective consisted of Greece and Turkey. The Euro-Siberian Alliance, also known as E.S.A., consisted of Russia, Siberia, Romania and various smaller Eastern European countries. The All-Asian League, shortened to A.A.L., consisted of China, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and various Pacific islands.
While each project lasted different amounts of time, each region were able to produce at least a handful of functional super soldiers. Mysteriously, most of these soldiers have escaped their facilities and entered the world. Due to their extensive military training, they typically blend in as normal humans, staying undetected to the common eye...
