Jeremy looked up at the huge beast and froze. He had never seen such a large creature in all his life. His fear began to consume him, lowering him to the extent that all thought fled him save one: he was going to die. He was absolutely spellbound, but he did not have long to thing for it was then that we was swooped up by a orc.Upon seeing the identity of his kidnapper, he was immediately racked with a new fear. Was the orc about to eat him? Was the orc in allegiance with the beast? Jeremy's mind became so tightly wound by his fear of death that he began to cry. The tears had just begun to stream down his face, when he was thrown out of harms way by the orc, far from the dangers of the battle. Jeremy looked up at his rescuer. He had been saved by an orc. That would surely be something to tell Grimrock... If Grimrock was alive.
Jeremy began to lament again, but something in his Amygdala triggered; the heat of such an intense battle seemed to drive away all his fears. Jeremy looked around. The situation appeared desperate. Perhaps he could get help? Jeremy searched the area around him for an effective weapon. He was in luck when he gazed into the other room and saw that on the walls were hung long torches. Perhaps the creature was scared of fire. Jeremy could not tell from this angle whether or not he could reach them, given that they were possibly too high up on the wall, but he hoped to be able to at least try...
