Name: Revna Jónsdóttir
Age: 24
Occupation: Medicine Woman
Description: Revna has fine features with long, dark hair that she prefers to keep unbound most of the time; and is often found in an unkempt braid when she is scavenging for herbs or absorbed in making her legendary liniments. She has penetrating dark brown eyes that can discern poisonous plants from the life-giving ones with impressive accuracy, witnessing on occasion things that are just beyond the perception of a regular person. She is usually spotted in dark clothes and odd, garish jewelry that many of her clanswomen think to be indecent, but Ravna is not a woman who is bashful or restrained in her self-expression. Despite her striking raven-like features that can be quite intimidating when provoked, she is a relatively small woman who never grew beyond her petite 5'3 frame --- significantly being dwarfed by most of her tall, Valkyrean counterparts.
Temperament: Revna has a bit of an eccentric disposition and a heightened instinct for self-preservation, but her skill with medicine-making and nursing eventually disarms most men, women, children (and dragons). She has a no-nonsense attitude and prefers to keep to herself when there is no one calling on her for her services. Quick to love, hate, and every other emotion in between, Revna has a wild, untamed inner world that she keeps protected at all costs. Much to her despair, the passionate, fiery blood of her Romanifolk ancestors reminds her frequently that she has one foot in two diametrically opposed worlds and can never be a complete "whole". Besides her craft, she enjoys dancing, eating good food, and wearing beautiful clothes.

Precious belongings: A set of runes (which belonged to her mother), her mortar and pestle, and a book of standard recipes passed down to her from her Viking grandmother.
Background: Revna was the bastard child of a renowned Viking war chief Jón Odinson, who met her Romanifolk mother during one of his major exploits. Ada's traveling caravan stood no chance against the shieldmen of the cold, harsh North --- towering, all-powerful monsters who would reduce families like hers to ashes and dust in a day. Perhaps it was a past-life connection or Jón's compassion that made this meeting fated in many ways, but it did not end in bloodshed. He brought her back to their little settlement, scandalizing the whole village with this strange, witch-like woman on his arm.
Over time, however, they saw her skill with plants and medicines, and she became instrumental in treating the sick and wounded when they returned from hunting or battle. Jón met his end in a tragic shipwreck a year later, unable to see his baby girl's face when she was born. Ada --- heartbroken but stubborn; just like all the women in her family, raised Revna by herself, teaching her the mystical healing properties of Mother Nature (and more secretly the art of rune casting).
Revna had a difficult time integrating with her community due to her "differentness" from the rest of her folk. When Ada succumbed to a mysterious, fatal illness that consumed her body a few years later, Revna was left to fend for herself and decide where to go from there. She now lives in a small shelter house that was allocated to her by the grace of the Hog Morsan herself when the truce was made. Her home also doubless as a make-shift medicine shop and nursing station, which is only a shadow of her mother's glorious workshop back home, before they were driven out mercilessly.
Dragon: Revna was told by her grandmother that she would never have a dragon companion due to her impure blood, but on days when the moon is dark her mind's eye blazes with visions of a black-winged creature that calls her name.
