@Kyrisse I didn't have an actual character number in mind. I was hopping to give everyone a chance to get their stuff down that was interested. If you guys keep moving at this rate, then maybe first thing Monday morning I can have an IC post for you guys.

Oh, I'm not in a hurry. ^_^ I was just thinking that it might get a little chaotic with so many people in the story.
@Neno 1445 I did that so many times before... I know how you feel.

@HaleyTheRandom How many characters are you aiming for before we start? I'll just set aside my female character so that I can put her up if we need her. ^_^
Quil studied the Drow. It was clear that she was not magically affiliated by the way she carried herself and the way she moved made. He noticed the bow and arrow as well as the knives. Definitely a danger to him. While physically, he can defend himself, (he was after all trained by his father in combat) having the phoenix inhabiting his body made him unstable. He can control a fraction of the fire power inside him but most times it bursted out and caused him damage more than it helped. If he didn't get things under control, he might actually die before he could even do anything or without even setting a foot out of the beach they were in.

"A bargain, perhaps?" Quil rasped out, the words clawing at his dried throat. He coughed several times before he continued. "I need only enough water--" he cleared his throat. "--to wet my throat. I don't have much to offer--" he swallowed and then coughed. "--as I don't have supplies like you do but I can at least dry your clothes and gear." The water around him continued to sizzle, the salt that had formed from the dried up sea water on his armor falling back to the water like powder.
hmm just for convenience i'm gonna do a tally of men/women ratio:
6 ladies to (including haley's new guy) 6 men. Looks like we're evened out. Cool ^^ I can't wait to get started.

Ooh, and I was planning on making another character, a female this time. Anyway, @HaleyTheRandom if someone pops up and we need another female to even things out then I'll just bring in my other character.

Congratulations for passing your exams, @HalfOfLancelot

@Kyrisse I think Feora and Niko could be potentially good for each other. They have similar likes, and they both ultimately need to find someone they can trust enough to open up to.

Well, whoever becomes Feora's betrothed has their hands full. It will take some prodding to get her to open up, but at the same time, too much prodding could potentially lead to her clobbering that person.

Haha, yeah, Niko and Feora would be fun to watch. Feora doesn't wanna be oppressed by high expectations while Niko actually tries to live up to everyone's high expectations. Well, let's see how we're randomized then. ^_^

@NightmareInd @Ellion @Gisk @R31GN

After several tries at making the iced tea and either spilling the tea or breaking glasses again, Kassidy finally managed it. She looked at the mess she made on the floor. Frustrating, to say the least. What the hell was happening to the cafe? Termites, a fried cash register, damned fragile mugs... "Maybe we should stop putting the mugs in the freezer. Extreme cold probably made them easy to break." She muttered another explanation to herself. She could feel her mood plummeting as she mopped the floor for the nth time. Mom will get frustrated by all this broken stuff. When she was done, she wiped off the tea from the counter, gently took the mug by it's handle, her wrapped hand under the mug to make sure it doesn't fall to the floor again. She pushed the kitchen door with her shoulder and blinked when she had to strain to get it open.

Huffing, she made her way back to Sam's table and gently placed the mug in front of him. "Sorry it took a while. I had a bit of a problem in the kitchen." She held up a hand and gave Sam a sheepish grin. "Anyway, enjoy. If you want anything else, call my attention." She said as she moved away and noticed someone knocking on the door. Is the friggin' door broken now too? The amount of disturbances is both disturbing and depressing her. She sighed and looked at the people in the cafe. At least there's a lot more people than expected tonight. She consoled herself.

She walked over towards the door and bumped into James. She blinked as she stumbled back, the collision, while it wasn't hard, almost knocked her off her feet. She reached out and grabbed Audrey's arm to steady herself. "Oh, sorry, sorry. I didn't see you there." She turned to Audrey. "Uh, sorry, sorry." She apologized again and gave them a small smile before she excused herself and continued on her way to the door.

She reached out and opened the door with a little difficulty. Ugh. Need to oil the hinges. She thought. Before she could welcome Rhys in, her eyes fell on the door handle. Or what was left of it. "What happened?" She asked. "Did the handle fall off or something?" She looked a little closer at the rusted remains.

Working on the kingdom sheet now and contemplating if I'm gonna make a female character.
I'll have something up tomorrow. ^_^
