Caius stood by the door, a thoughtful look on his face. "I always thought that witches have some sort of immortality potion they can brew. But... Well, turning themselves into vampires would definitely do the trick in the immortality section. It'd be impossible to magic after though. All magical affinity is lost when you transform into an entirely different specie." He paused for a moment. "Maybe we can still save your coven. We'll think of something. But it's better to think with a full stomach. Hold on. I'll be back," he said and then disappeared out the door.

A few minutes later, he walked back in with four boxes of pizza. "I'm sure I can do better than pizza next time... Dinner is served," he flipped open the first box and gestured to it.

Day 1, 10:45AM

JJ's heart was pounding so hard against his chest. He felt warm... too warm. His hands felt like he had dipped them in a tub full of hot water. He turned his palms up and looked at it. They were red. Exerting myself too much, I guess, he rationalized despite the fact that he knew that he was in his top form. During their year of incarceration/safe keeping in the bunker, he had kept himself fit by dancing to songs he imagined he would have released in his debut album. Something that even entertained some of the bunker's population. Or it could still be a delayed reaction to the toxin that's killing people. Well, no use worrying about that now...let's see if I can stay alive long enough to at least help people. He thought about how Robert had been wise enough to cover his nose and mouth with a towel. It won't protect him completely but at least it was some form of protection. Something he didn't even think about. He sighed. No use worrying about spilt milk now.

He turned his attention back to the task at hand, chose a sputtering, coughing woman and began dragging her back into the bunker. She was a big set woman but she didn't really offer too much resistance so bringing her in wasn't too difficult.

Once inside, he found Harley giving out instructions and Robert dragging someone to the back of the bunker. Harley's words made sense and it was something that he knew he would need to get used to. He looked over to her and gave her a grim nod of agreement. Survival of fittest. If i can even survive this... He dragged the lady further inside and leaned her against the wall. He crouched down in front of her. "Sorry... I need to leave you like that for now. Just... keep breathing." he said before standing back up.

He looked over to the rest of the people they had managed to drag back in. Some were still hanging on to dear life while half had obviously succumbed to whatever it is that was killing them. Somebody had to give them a proper burial... He watched as pockets of the dead were emptied. It didn't feel right. But it was something that was needed to be done. Yeah, a proper burial after that... He shook his hand in an attempt to cool it off. The heat he felt had magnified 3 folds. Maybe he needed a breather but with the way things were going, it doesn't seem like he'll be getting any rest soon. "I'm just... gonna go see if there are more people we can save out there..." he said as he headed back out.

I think part of the reason Kyrisse was waiting was also to see if anyone wanted to join in on the rescue stuff and interact, perhaps. I could be wrong though.
