Shion grew up within a loving family, loyal and native to Konohagakure. She was the youngest child born to Itō Oboro & Megume - with two older brothers; Takeshi & Hideo. Life was great, filled with a lot of laughter and love and just all around great memories. It wasn't until the beginning of the last Ninja War that everything took a turn for the worse.

Shion had always been intelligent, and so she was on a fast track to becoming a genin when she was just 12 years old. Her older brothers were already there, with Takeshi nearly to a Jonin status. When the War broke out and started it was no surprise that both of her brothers were called to arms along with their father. With her mother having little to no experience in fighting, she opted to stay in the village and help within the walls doing whatever it was that was needed of her there. Her mother tried to convince Shion to do the same and it worked. For a time.

Later on, the War called for more and more Shinobi to stand and fight for their homeland. Again, her mother refused, and even refused to give Shion up - though that wasn't her choice at the time. It wasn't a choice anymore. It was required of anyone not providing for the village within the walls - they had to join. And so that was what Shion did. Drafted into a war she was too young to really understand. Using what knowledge she did possess - which turned out to be quite useful to those around her, the veteran ninja made use of her as a scout. Sneaking as close to the enemies camps and reporting back with information. Only engaging if necessary.

It was towards the end of the war when the news reached her that her father and oldest brother were killed in a raid that had attacked their camp. Both she and Hideo - being in the same squad - were livid and went into a rage; jumping headlong into a fight without planning and without backup really. There were 20 enemies that had surrounded them; eventually Hideo ended up sacrificing himself, throwing his body over hers in order to protect her. As he died above her, in anguish, she released a toxic, poisonous aroma from any exposed skin of her body. The enemies that remained were heavily effected and were dead in a matter of minutes. The poison seeped into their skin, eyes, nose and mouth hindering them and causing a breakdown of their bodies from the inside.

Not long after using it, due to the exhaustion and stress, Shion passed out only to awake days later, in a cart heading back to the village. When she returned, her mother ran to greet her; explaining what had happened and that the rest of their family is in fact gone.

Since then, Shion has completed her Genin, Chuunin and Jonin training; she joined the ANBU forces and is a skilled tracker and scouting kunoichi. She spends the nights drinking and enjoying life to it's fullest, never knowing when it will come to an end. However, due to her constant drinking and lifestyle choices - she has been placed on probation because of some of her actions while drunk - don't ask she most likely won't tell you, but it had something to do with running through the village in the wee early hours naked and throwing flower petals at everything and everyone before passing out in the meadow..

So, here she is, living the best life she can now that she's been placed on babysitting duty. Definitely the type of person to make the kids do all the labor intensive work while she goes off to day drink or something. Ruffles the kids' heads, all in all just like the cool aunt vibe, but just doesn't wanna be there??? She totally loves them though. Shh don't tell them that though..

I want Shion to grow as more of a caring sensei and not just someone who has to do a job. I want her to be able to be more responsible for others around her and not just herself. Umm, maybe die in the end - OR get severely injured and she ends up just teaching or doing some type of wholesome job instead of staying a Shinobi.

• Mom Duty Being able to keep track of 3 Genin successfully. It's a lot more responsibility that she just wasn't ready for. Nor was it really her choice. It's more of an assigned punishment. At first she was very much aloof and cold to her kids - she still kind of is? But a little more open now that she's helped them grow themselves - they too have helped her grow. She won't ever admit it out loud, but she really does love those kids. Will kill for them without hesitation.
• Keep 'Em Coming Despite her small and curvacious frame, Shion is no stranger to the nectar of the Gods. She can drink most people under the table - however, that isn't to say she doesn't feel the effects of it soon afterwards. It just takes a bit to get her to that state. Careful, when she gets plastered she starts rubbing up on everyone; typically with them ending up squished against her chest / between her breasts. So, I guess good for you?
• Green Thumb Shion is surprisingly really, really good at taking care of her flowers and plants. Even grows most of her own veggies and fruits. Grows her own poison and other herbs too, that she uses in her ninjutsu and tools. Because of this she also makes it a habit to bring something from her garden to her squad to add a little something, something to their lunches.
• Flower Ninja Art Expert Because she's been raised up with her mother being able to utilize the flora around her, so too can Shion. She is able to use and weaponize all of the flora around her - no matter the location - so long as she has studied it and it's properties before hand. Anywhere from using flora as either shuriken or as bombs and everything in between. It even adorns her attire and weapons too. Shi just really likes flowers.
• Genjutsu Expert Utilizing sensory illusions, typically caused by using her Flower Ninja Art along with genjutsu - makes for Shion a deadly adversary. With a lot of her weapons and attacks she uses hallucinogenic properties of flora to help lower her opponents defenses to make her genjutsu take effect quicker and easier. Because of the distance she is allowed while using the two together, it guarantees that she is a safe distance away - as well as her team. She is skilled in this area and can cause large scale illusions as well as small scale.
• People Watching Being as perceptive as she is, she enjoys sitting somewhere and just watching people as they go about their lives. It was one of her favorite things to do - when she got assigned to scouting missions. Her sight is noted as "hawk like".

• Dokusei; Kekkei Genkai of the Ito Clan. Their bodies produce a toxin / poison that can be excreted and distributed through the air like a pollen. They can use this in order to in order to hinder their opponents and breakdown their bodies from the inside. They can control whole areas using their jutsus from making a small area inhabitable to destroying bodies. There is little to no effect on the user when using this technique. Poison of other users however, have a reduced effect, as their bodies are somewhat immune. If a ninja is inexperience with this technique, or just inexperienced in general, this is extremely dangerous and poses more of a threat - being more exposed and susceptible to it's effects and is less likely to affect the opponent.

Once native to the lands of Kirigakure, the Kiryu Clan were alive and prosperous. The heads of the clans were approached, during one of the Ninja Wars of the past, asking for more support and bodies in order to serve the Mizukage. The leaders of the Kiryu denied them anymore support as the war was coming to an end and therefore was no need to send more people to an unnecessary death, one with no honor. Kiryu Clan was given the ultimatum of submit, or perish. The threat contained the promise that their names and history would be wiped from all records - it would be as if they never existed in the first place. After speaking with the others of the clan, it was decided that they would feign submission in order to double cross their suppressors. However, their plan went to hell when they were betrayed within their own loyal ranks. Many died in an attempt to flee or fight. It was difficult to determine which were foe and which were not. They had been trapped by their own familial members as well as the enemy - loyal only to the Mizukage. The ones who were lucky enough to escape were typically hunted and then caught by the elite hunter-nin of Kiri and were dealt with swiftly. Anyone who did escape hasn't been heard from in over 30 years.

The only known surviving member of the Kiryu Clan was the son of the Clan head - Kiryu Hitoshi - and Izayoi's father. He traveled to Konohagakure; defecting and swearing fealty to them. Hitoshi began his new life, growing up among the Leaf's genin; training hard to join himself. However it was a tad difficult in the beginning, seeing as he was ostracized for being an "outsider". However, during his time at the academy and training and working hard to prove himself to the rest of the village, he met and was befriended by Mochi Hagotae “The Leaf’s Lovable Soldier Ant”. Together they formed an inseparable duo. One was stoic and silent, the other rambunctious and sociable. It was through Hagotae that Hitoshi met and fell in love with his future wife, Mochi Momochira of the Mochi Clan. They were soon married and eventually started their family.

Hagotae has a daughter, Mochi Kurimi, Izayoi's cousin and closest friend. They would play and train and just get into trouble as all little shinobi do. They are practically inseparable just as their fathers are. Even now Kurimi tells her that it was all thanks to Izayoi that she's decided to solidify her resolve in pursuing the shinobi life. Being the louder and more rambunctious of the two girls, Izayoi would constantly drag around her cousin to play in the city or with the other shinobi's in training. It was during these times that, even though her cousin was shy and quiet, Iza was able to understand and speak with her on a mental and unspoken level. As they grew older, it didn't happen as much - however it was still nice to be able to just sit in one another's presence and not have to worry about conversations growing stale.

Before Izayoi was born into the world, she had two other siblings. Twin sisters; Aneko & Kaede Both of them specializing in genjutsu and tracking - joining the ANBU ops. They joined and fought in the War, both of them losing their lives and making life around the Kiryu house... different. Her father pushed her harder than he ever pushed his other daughters - hoping that the same fate would not befall Izayoi as it did the others. He wanted her to be stronger and to be able to take care of herself. Although his motives were... well warranted, Hitoshi didn't express it in the best ways. His relationship with his only surviving child was strained to say the least and when Izayoi grew older the rift between them became almost irreparable.

For the majority of Izayoi's life, her father has hidden his family's true origins. Where he came from, who is truly is. Mainly it was for fear of rejection and the potential death of his family if it were to get out that he hailed from a dead clan that once pledged itself to Kirigakure. So, he's kept quiet of the knowledge, planning on taking it to his grave. It wasn't until the anniversary of her sister's death where everything turned upside down. Training with her father, uncle and cousin; Mochi Hagotae & Mochi Kurimi - in bukijutsu. The girls had been worked ragged and as she went to take a small break, leaning against her father to catch her breath, it happened.

It was as if she were being transported deep inside Hitoshi's mind without ever meaning too. It was there, in that brief split moment where Izayoi realized that her father had lied to her all her life. When he finally was able to get her to listen to him, he told her the story of what happened there in the village all those years ago. How he had to leave in order to survive. But she didn't listen. She resents her father for running away from the fight. Blames him for the loss of growing up without being surrounded and encompassed by her heritage and roots and extended family. She feels robbed of the chance to have an even larger family and feels like her father should "practice what he preaches" - he's so hard on her, constantly telling her to "do better", "work harder", "not good enough"... So, now it's how she views her own work ethic - making sure that she is in the tip-top position she can be at all times. But also due to her father and his cowardice; at least that's what she sees and interprets, it's the reason her nindō is what it is.

• A reconnection with father at some point in their lives - where she realizes the type of situation her father and the others were forced in and what it must have been like... maybe she's placed in the same kinda situation later on where she's forced to make a decision that might not be the best at the moment but it's for the best in the long run? Either for her or others around her.
• To find love and some type close bond with someone - maybe a deeper relationship than just friends...?
• To be able to create and use Blood Dragon Ascension
• I want her to be able to successfully blood bend others / creatures to her will and do whatever she wants - for a purpose, not outta any sick reasons - maybe infiltration missions or something???
• I don't want her to lose her outgoing nature, but it would be something to see cause that isn't everyone's cup of tea. So there should / would be others who don't appreciate her loud and rambunctious nature - so maybe a "rival"???

• All the Energy Like seriously? How does she do it? Can operate on little sleep as is, but damn when she gets in a solid 6 hours - this girl is unstoppable! She is THE hype girl everyone needs and wants on their team.
• Work Hard, Play Harder Izayoi is all about conducting her missions and tasks and completing them as quickly and correctly as possible in order to fuck off and do her own thing. If she does it well the first time then there is nothing to come back to and fix, therefore more time to do what she wants to do.
• Small Girl, Big Blade Her lightweight appearance suggests a fragile speedster but it turns out they are fully capable of carrying a big fucking sword - or in her case a large Fūma Shuriken. She may seem fragile-looking but is quite strong and not slow in any sense of the word.
• Ketsuryūgan Izayoi holds the bloodline Ketsuryūgan and all the abilities that come with possessing this. Her genjutsu is amplified when using her Ketsuryūgan and controlling another being is made easier and available when Ketsuryūgan is active. Though, the longer she uses the Ketsuryūgan, the more her chakra is drained, and the strain caused on her body and mind is increased. After using she is prone to intense headaches, nose bleeds and bleeding from the eyes in extreme cases.
• Genjutsu UserBeing one of the last members of the Kiryu Clan Izayoi has been blessed with the natural talent of genjutsu; where it just comes easily to her. Though she oft times resorts to her genjutsu abilities when absolutely needed as she much prefers to swing a large weapon at her enemy. It does come in handy when trying to get her way with those around her.
• Bukijutsu User Being a member of the Mochi Clan by marriage and birth - through her mother - Izayoi has gravitated towards the large, broad swords and the even larger Fuma shurikens. Because of the types of weapons she wields and the sheer size of them, her throwing and swinging strength is intense. You wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of any of her blades and weapons.
• Adaptability Izayoi takes what she sees and learns and adapts it into something that she is able to wield and use to the fullest of her potential. She relies on her intuition and delivers splendid results by adapting - be it ninja or non ninja activities. Izayoi never ceases to prove her fast cognitive abilities. Still having a long way to go, she still hones her skills on a daily basis.

• The Ketsuryūgan confers genjutsu casting abilities, either by making physical skin contact with the target or meeting each other's gaze. Upon which, they can hypnotize the victim in a variety of ways, or even delve deep into their minds to extract information. The Ketsuryūgan also gives the users the ability to manipulate iron, or more accurately, any liquid with a high iron concentration. As such, fitting with its moniker, the Ketsuryūgan can manipulate the blood within a living target, whether if be themselves or another being.

The Itō Clan is known throughout the Land of Fire as the creators and beholders of the Flower Art techniques. Originally the Itō Clan started as poison testers for the Lords across the lands. Since, then - they have learned to hone their gifts and hobbies, combining the two to create deadly and rare techniques. They are typically seen and revered as ones who hold themselves in high esteem, in everything they do they do with class and refinement. And then there is Shion... A humble, high class society of ninja, priests farmers and samurai alike living peacefully among themselves. Though what lies beneath the petals is a stem of the sharpest thorns and roots that are too stubborn to budge.

Eventually, with spending so much time with one another friendly feelings blossomed into more romantic feelings as they grew up. It didn't seem to halt on Shion's end - especially when they were sent to war. She wouldn't - couldn't stop worrying for his safety, as well as _____'s. He was in her head, just as much as she was in his.

Mai is an exemplary genin. Level headed and strong willed of the three at least she has stepped up to the plate and shown significant leadership qualities. She is no stranger to the tasks and lessons that are thrown her way, going so far as to reign in the boys on more than one occasion due to certain... mishaps.

Mai possesses the mindset for continuous growth and self-improvement not often shared with her brother.
There is, however, a certain level of mischief within her that emerges quite often. Teasing remarks and jabs both in and out of battle. Her individual skill is excellent for her age. There is no issue with her building and forming a close bond with her teammates. These exams will provide many opportunities for her to flourish alongside her team.

Kai. This fucking kid. If I didn't know any better I'd say that I saw some familiar unmentionables sticking out of his pocket the other day. that lil shit stole my panties! His natural talent is something to be praised, though I'm running outta excuses to not say good things about him and his techniques. I don't need that kind of bloated ego floating around the rest of the team. Especially not from him. However, can't deny it here. Bloated ego or not, he provides something to the team that is definitely needed. A sense of playfulness to get them all to loosen up and enjoy themselves I would never admit to him that he is such an important part of the team - he would lord that over me until I drink myself to an early grave.

Coming from little to no proper training when he, and his sister, were younger he has grown leaps and bounds in a short amount of time. Especially when he puts his mind to it and gets shit done. There isn't anything this kid can't do as long as he puts in the time and effort into learning it.

He's going to be a heartbreaker when he comes into himself and grows up a bit. This kid is something else entirely.

This kid has got an axe to grind. Ren is extremely determined to show up everyone else around him - which works perfectly to light a fire under the other two's asses when training and sparring are an issue. Without realizing it, Ren provides the most moral boosting energy. Even though it's less than energetic, the point still comes across.

Ren is very talented. A jack of all trades mast of none when it comes to techniques. He shows extreme dedication and puts forth the hard work that is necessary in all aspects of improving himself in his ninjutsu. However, getting him there is sometimes like pulling teeth. Because he is stubborn and shows a lot of independent tendencies, it is sometimes, more often than not, difficult to get him to complete tasks - especially if he has his sights set on something he wants. Trick is to make him think it's his idea to do something... or reverse the answers and get him to do to "opposite" Success rate of these tricks: 80% / 20% Great outcomes!

His impulsive tendencies have proven challenging at times. Something we have been working on channeling and getting under control. So far, so good. But there are still times when it gets the better of him. I have a strong feeling that he will become one of the best in Konoha, no doubt. At his current rate of progress, he will soon outgrow anything I have to teach him -not that he listens much.

• Mom Duty Being able to keep track of 3 Genin successfully. It's a lot more responsibility that she just wasn't ready for. Nor was it really her choice. It's more of an assigned punishment. At first she was very much aloof and cold to her kids - she still kind of is? But a little more open now that she's helped them grow themselves - they too have helped her grow. She won't ever admit it out loud, but she really does love those kids. Will kill for them without hesitation.
• Keep 'Em Coming Despite her small and curvacious frame, Shion is no stranger to the nectar of the Gods. She can drink most people under the table - however, that isn't to say she doesn't feel the effects of it soon afterwards. It just takes a bit to get her to that state. Careful, when she gets plastered she starts rubbing up on everyone; typically with them ending up squished against her chest / between her breasts. So, I guess good for you?
• Green Thumb Shion is surprisingly really, really good at taking care of her flowers and plants. Even grows most of her own veggies and fruits. Grows her own poison and other herbs too, that she uses in her ninjutsu and tools. Because of this she also makes it a habit to bring something from her garden to her squad to add a little something, something to their lunches.
• Flower Ninja Art Expert Because she's been raised up with her mother being able to utilize the flora around her, so too can Shion. She is able to use and weaponize all of the flora around her - no matter the location - so long as she has studied it and it's properties before hand. Anywhere from using flora as either shuriken or as bombs and everything in between. It even adorns her attire and weapons too. Shi just really likes flowers.
• Genjutsu Expert Utilizing sensory illusions, typically caused by using her Flower Ninja Art along with genjutsu - makes for Shion a deadly adversary. With a lot of her weapons and attacks she uses hallucinogenic properties of flora to help lower her opponents defenses to make her genjutsu take effect quicker and easier. Because of the distance she is allowed while using the two together, it guarantees that she is a safe distance away - as well as her team. She is skilled in this area and can cause large scale illusions as well as small scale.
• People Watching Being as perceptive as she is, she enjoys sitting somewhere and just watching people as they go about their lives. It was one of her favorite things to do - when she got assigned to scouting missions. Her sight is noted as "hawk like".

Once native to the lands of Kirigakure, the Kiryu Clan were alive and prosperous. The heads of the clans were approached, during one of the Ninja Wars of the past, asking for more support and bodies in order to serve the Mizukage. The leaders of the Kiryu denied them anymore support as the war was coming to an end and therefore was no need to send more people to an unnecessary death, one with no honor. Kiryu Clan was given the ultimatum of submit, or perish. The threat contained the promise that their names and history would be wiped from all records - it would be as if they never existed in the first place. After speaking with the others of the clan, it was decided that they would feign submission in order to double cross their suppressors. However, their plan went to hell when they were betrayed within their own loyal ranks. Many died in an attempt to flee or fight. It was difficult to determine which were foe and which were not. They had been trapped by their own familial members as well as the enemy - loyal only to the Mizukage. The ones who were lucky enough to escape were typically hunted and then caught by the elite hunter-nin of Kiri and were dealt with swiftly. Anyone who did escape hasn't been heard from in over 30 years.

The only known surviving member of the Kiryu Clan was the son of the Clan head - Kiryu Hitoshi - and Izayoi's father. He traveled to Konohagakure; defecting and swearing fealty to them. Hitoshi began his new life, growing up among the Leaf's genin; training hard to join himself. However it was a tad difficult in the beginning, seeing as he was ostracized for being an "outsider". However, during his time at the academy and training and working hard to prove himself to the rest of the village, he met and was befriended by Mochi Hagotae “The Leaf’s Lovable Soldier Ant”. Together they formed an inseparable duo. One was stoic and silent, the other rambunctious and sociable. It was through Hagotae that Hitoshi met and fell in love with his future wife, Mochi Momochira of the Mochi Clan. They were soon married and eventually started their family.

Hagotae has a daughter, Mochi Kurimi, Izayoi's cousin and closest friend. They would play and train and just get into trouble as all little shinobi do. They are practically inseparable just as their fathers are. Even now Kurimi tells her that it was all thanks to Izayoi that she's decided to solidify her resolve in pursuing the shinobi life. Being the louder and more rambunctious of the two girls, Izayoi would constantly drag around her cousin to play in the city or with the other shinobi's in training. It was during these times that, even though her cousin was shy and quiet, Iza was able to understand and speak with her on a mental and unspoken level. As they grew older, it didn't happen as much - however it was still nice to be able to just sit in one another's presence and not have to worry about conversations growing stale.

Before Izayoi was born into the world, she had two other siblings. Twin sisters; Aneko & Kaede Both of them specializing in genjutsu and tracking - joining the ANBU ops. They joined and fought in the War, both of them losing their lives and making life around the Kiryu house... different. Her father pushed her harder than he ever pushed his other daughters - hoping that the same fate would not befall Izayoi as it did the others. He wanted her to be stronger and to be able to take care of herself. Although his motives were... well warranted, Hitoshi didn't express it in the best ways. His relationship with his only surviving child was strained to say the least and when Izayoi grew older the rift between them became almost irreparable.

For the majority of Izayoi's life, her father has hidden his family's true origins. Where he came from, who is truly is. Mainly it was for fear of rejection and the potential death of his family if it were to get out that he hailed from a dead clan that once pledged itself to Kirigakure. So, he's kept quiet of the knowledge, planning on taking it to his grave. It wasn't until the anniversary of her sister's death where everything turned upside down. Training with her father, uncle and cousin; Mochi Hagotae & Mochi Kurimi - in bukijutsu. The girls had been worked ragged and as she went to take a small break, leaning against her father to catch her breath, it happened.

It was as if she were being transported deep inside Hitoshi's mind without ever meaning too. It was there, in that brief split moment where Izayoi realized that her father had lied to her all her life. When he finally was able to get her to listen to him, he told her the story of what happened there in the village all those years ago. How he had to leave in order to survive. But she didn't listen. She resents her father for running away from the fight. Blames him for the loss of growing up without being surrounded and encompassed by her heritage and roots and extended family. She feels robbed of the chance to have an even larger family and feels like her father should "practice what he preaches" - he's so hard on her, constantly telling her to "do better", "work harder", "not good enough"... So, now it's how she views her own work ethic - making sure that she is in the tip-top position she can be at all times. But also due to her father and his cowardice; at least that's what she sees and interprets, it's the reason her nindō is what it is.

• A reconnection with father at some point in their lives - where she realizes the type of situation her father and the others were forced in and what it must have been like... maybe she's placed in the same kinda situation later on where she's forced to make a decision that might not be the best at the moment but it's for the best in the long run? Either for her or others around her.
• To find love and some type close bond with someone - maybe a deeper relationship than just friends...?
• To be able to create and use Blood Dragon Ascension
• I want her to be able to successfully blood bend others / creatures to her will and do whatever she wants - for a purpose, not outta any sick reasons - maybe infiltration missions or something???

• All the Energy Like seriously? How does she do it? Can operate on little sleep as is, but damn when she gets in a solid 6 hours - this girl is unstoppable! She is THE hype girl everyone needs and wants on their team.
• Work Hard, Play Harder Izayoi is all about conducting her missions and tasks and completing them as quickly and correctly as possible in order to fuck off and do her own thing. If she does it well the first time then there is nothing to come back to and fix, therefore more time to do what she wants to do.

Her genjutsu is amplified when using her Ketsuryūgan and controlling another being is made easier and available when Ketsuryūgan is active. Though, the longer she uses the Ketsuryūgan, the more her chakra is drained, and the strain caused on her body and mind is increased. After using she is prone to intense headaches, nose bleeds and bleeding from the eyes in extreme cases.
• Genjutsu UserBeing one of the last members of the Kiryu Clan Izayoi has been blessed with the natural talent of genjutsu; where it just comes easily to her. Though she oft times resorts to her genjutsu abilities when absolutely needed as she much prefers to swing a large weapon at her enemy. It does come in handy when trying to get her way with those around her.
• Bukijutsu User Being a member of the Mochi Clan by marriage and birth - through her mother - Izayoi has gravitated towards the large, broad swords and the even larger Fuma shurikens. Because of the types of weapons she wields and the sheer size of them, her throwing and swinging strength is intense. You wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of any of her blades and weapons.
• Adaptability Izayoi takes what she sees and learns and adapts it into something that she is able to wield and use to the fullest of her potential. So good at playing pretend - Asami has always been told how talented she is and so therefore all that praise went straight into feeding that ego of hers - which was already large to begin with. Born under an inky black night sky, no moon in sight, she came into the world silent like her namesake. Her affinity towards the feline race was ever present in her features and thus growing up she took to their mannerisms as well.

At a very young age, Kuroo was given to Asami by her father, and the two became very close soon afterwards. Before entering the Academy, Asami and Kuroo played together a great deal, resulting in her father getting angry because they weren't training enough. During her time at the Academy, she often cut class with Kuroo, stating that she wasn't suited to sit still at a desk, or otherwise getting into trouble, along with the other rebellious students. Together, they would skip class and go to the practice hall (not to practice). They thought that it was fun to also test the patience of their Academy instructor. One day, Asami fell asleep during class and, upon waking, saw Shirou attempting to use the Transformation Technique for the first time, and failing twice. This caused Asami to find Shirou incompetent.

Because of her family and their ties and affiliation with felines, Asami is very much cat-like in all that she does. She is aloof and mischievous, yet comes to those she knows she can gain attention from before shutting them out once more and just as quickly. Her moods are always swaying and is never ideal. However, once her she has been slighted - even barely - she will hold the grudge until the perfect moment to seek retribution.

The Itō Clan is known throughout the Land of Fire as the creators and beholders of the Flower Art techniques. Originally the Itō Clan started as poison testers for the Lords across the lands. Since, then - they have learned to hone their gifts and hobbies, combining the two to create deadly and rare techniques. They are typically seen and revered as ones who hold themselves in high esteem, in everything they do they do with class and refinement. And then there is Shion... A humble, high class society of ninja, priests farmers and samurai alike living peacefully among themselves. Though what lies beneath the petals is a stem of the sharpest thorns and roots that are too stubborn to budge.

Shion grew up within a loving family, loyal and native to Konohagakure. She was the youngest child born to Itō Oboro & Megume - with two older brothers; Takeshi & Hideo. Life was great, filled with a lot of laughter and love and just all around great memories. It wasn't until the beginning of the last Ninja War that everything took a turn for the worse.

Shion had always been intelligent & strong-willed, and so she was on a fast track to becoming a chūnin at a young age - her team comprising of Kaminari Kenshin & _____. Her older brothers were already there, with Takeshi nearly to a Jonin status. When the War broke out and started it was no surprise that both of her brothers were called to arms along with their father. With her mother having little to no experience in fighting, she opted to stay in the village and help within the walls doing whatever it was that was needed of her there. Her mother tried to convince Shion to do the same and it worked. For a time.

Later on, the War called for more and more Shinobi to stand and fight for their homeland. Again, her mother refused, and even refused to give Shion up - though that wasn't her choice at the time. It wasn't a choice anymore. It was required of anyone not providing for the village within the walls - they had to join. And so that was what Shion did. Drafted into a war she was too young to really understand. Using what knowledge she did possess - which turned out to be quite useful to those around her, the veteran ninja made use of her as a scout. Sneaking as close to the enemies camps and reporting back with information. Only engaging if necessary. Both her teammates were promoted to chūnin and she was separated from them; however, she never could fully escape their orbits for very long - namely Kenshin's.

They were so close even before them joining the same squad - taking them back to when they were just children running around getting into too much trouble. Shion looked up to Satoshi just as much as he looked up to her older brothers. They'd always had a close familial bond, not just them but their families too. Eventually, with spending so much time with one another friendly feelings blossomed into more romantic feelings as they grew up. It didn't seem to halt on Shion's end - especially when they were sent to war. She wouldn't - couldn't stop worrying for his safety, as well as _____'s. He was in her head, just as much as she was in his.

It was towards the end of the war when the news reached her that her father and oldest brother were killed in a raid that had attacked their camp. Both she and Hideo - being in the same base with the other teams - were livid and flew into a rage; jumping headlong into a fight without planning and without backup really - without notifying the others of their teams. There were no less than 20 enemies that had surrounded them; eventually, Hideo ended up sacrificing himself, throwing his body over hers in order to protect her. As he died above her, in anguish, she released a toxic, poisonous aroma from any exposed skin of her body. The enemies that remained were heavily effected and were dead in a matter of minutes. The poison seeped into their skin, eyes, nose and mouth hindering them and causing a breakdown of their bodies from the inside.

Not long after using it, due to the exhaustion and stress, Shion passed out only to awake days later, in a cart heading back to the village. She was informed of her promotion to chūnin shortly after arriving back to Konoha; having been placed in enough life-threatening missions to warrant it. When she returned however, her mother was there to greet her; explaining what had happened - that her Kekkei Genkai had surfaced - and that the rest of their family was in fact gone. After returning home - things were never truly the same. Yet her friendship with Kenshin remained.

Since then, Shion went on and has completed her training to become a Jonin; she joined the ANBU forces and is a skilled tracker and scouting kunoichi. Though she spends the nights drinking and enjoying life to it's fullest, never knowing when it will come to an end - she does visit the Memorial Stone. Either meeting up with Kenshin or heading there together to drink and enjoy the peace that follows; reminiscing about 'good times' However, due to her constant drinking and lifestyle choices - she has been placed on probation because of some of her actions while drunk - don't ask she most likely won't tell you, but it had something to do with running through the village in the wee early hours naked and throwing flower petals at everything and everyone before passing out in the meadow..

So, here she is, living the best life she can now that she's been placed on babysitting duty. Definitely the type of person to make the kids do all the labor intensive work while she goes off to day drink or something. Ruffles the kids' heads, all in all just like the cool aunt vibe, but just doesn't wanna be there??? She totally loves them though. Shh don't tell them that though.. Definitely can't stand that Katsumi - always trying to muzzle her way into Kenshin's arms.

Mai is an exemplary genin. Level headed and strong willed of the three at least she has stepped up to the plate and shown significant leadership qualities. She is no stranger to the tasks and lessons that are thrown her way, going so far as to reign in the boys on more than one occasion due to certain... mishaps.

Mai possesses the mindset for continuous growth and self-improvement not often shared with her brother.
There is, however, a certain level of mischief within her that emerges quite often. Teasing remarks and jabs both in and out of battle. Her individual skill is excellent for her age. There is no issue with her building and forming a close bond with her teammates. These exams will provide many opportunities for her to flourish alongside her team.

Kai. This fucking kid. If I didn't know any better I'd say that I saw some familiar unmentionables sticking out of his pocket the other day. that lil shit stole my panties! His natural talent is something to be praised, though I'm running outta excuses to not say good things about him and his techniques. I don't need that kind of bloated ego floating around the rest of the team. Especially not from him. However, can't deny it here. Bloated ego or not, he provides something to the team that is definitely needed. A sense of playfulness to get them all to loosen up and enjoy themselves I would never admit to him that he is such an important part of the team - he would lord that over me until I drink myself to an early grave.

Coming from little to no proper training when he, and his sister, were younger he has grown leaps and bounds in a short amount of time. Especially when he puts his mind to it and gets shit done. There isn't anything this kid can't do as long as he puts in the time and effort into learning it.

He's going to be a heartbreaker when he comes into himself and grows up a bit. This kid is something else entirely.

This kid has got an axe to grind. Ren is extremely determined to show up everyone else around him - which works perfectly to light a fire under the other two's asses when training and sparring are an issue. Without realizing it, Ren provides the most moral boosting energy. Even though it's less than energetic, the point still comes across.

Ren is very talented. A jack of all trades mast of none when it comes to techniques. He shows extreme dedication and puts forth the hard work that is necessary in all aspects of improving himself in his ninjutsu. However, getting him there is sometimes like pulling teeth. Because he is stubborn and shows a lot of independent tendencies, it is sometimes, more often than not, difficult to get him to complete tasks - especially if he has his sights set on something he wants. Trick is to make him think it's his idea to do something... or reverse the answers and get him to do to "opposite" Success rate of these tricks: 80% / 20% Great outcomes!

His impulsive tendencies have proven challenging at times. Something we have been working on channeling and getting under control. So far, so good. But there are still times when it gets the better of him. I have a strong feeling that he will become one of the best in Konoha, no doubt. At his current rate of progress, he will soon outgrow anything I have to teach him -not that he listens much.

• Mom Duty Being able to keep track of 3 Genin successfully. It's a lot more responsibility that she just wasn't ready for. Nor was it really her choice. It's more of an assigned punishment. She won't ever admit it out loud, but she really does love those kids. Will kill for them without hesitation.

• Green Thumb Shion is surprisingly really, really good at taking care of her flowers and plants. Even grows most of her own veggies and fruits. Grows her own poison and other herbs too, that she uses in her ninjutsu and tools. Because of this she also makes it a habit to bring something from her garden to her squad to add a little something, something to their lunches.
• Flower Ninja Art Expert Because she's been raised up with her mother being able to utilize the flora around her, so too can Shion. She is able to use and weaponize all of the flora around her - no matter the location - so long as she has studied it and it's properties before hand. Anywhere from using flora as either shuriken or as bombs and everything in between. It even adorns her attire and weapons too. Shi just really likes flowers.
• Genjutsu Expert Utilizing sensory illusions, typically caused by using her Flower Ninja Art along with genjutsu - makes for Shion a deadly adversary. With a lot of her weapons and attacks she uses hallucinogenic properties of flora to help lower her opponents defenses to make her genjutsu take effect quicker and easier. Because of the distance she is allowed while using the two together, it guarantees that she is a safe distance away - as well as her team. She is skilled in this area and can cause large scale illusions as well as small scale.
• People Watching Being as perceptive as she is, she enjoys sitting somewhere and just watching people as they go about their lives. It was one of her favorite things to do - when she got assigned to scouting missions. Her sight is noted as "hawk like".

Once native to the lands of Kirigakure, the Kiryu Clan were alive and prosperous. The heads of the clans were approached, during one of the Ninja Wars of the past, asking for more support and bodies in order to serve the Mizukage. The leaders of the Kiryu denied them anymore support as the war was coming to an end and therefore was no need to send more people to an unnecessary death, one with no honor. Kiryu Clan was given the ultimatum of submit, or perish. The threat contained the promise that their names and history would be wiped from all records - it would be as if they never existed in the first place. After speaking with the others of the clan, it was decided that they would feign submission in order to double cross their suppressors. However, their plan went to hell when they were betrayed within their own loyal ranks. Many died in an attempt to flee or fight. It was difficult to determine which were foe and which were not. They had been trapped by their own familial members as well as the enemy - loyal only to the Mizukage. The ones who were lucky enough to escape were typically hunted and then caught by the elite hunter-nin of Kiri and were dealt with swiftly. Anyone who did escape hasn't been heard from in over 30 years.

The only known surviving member of the Kiryu Clan was the son of the Clan head - Kiryu Hitoshi - and Izayoi's father. He traveled to Konohagakure; defecting and swearing fealty to them. Hitoshi began his new life, growing up among the Leaf's genin; training hard to join himself. However it was a tad difficult in the beginning, seeing as he was ostracized for being an "outsider". However, during his time at the academy and training and working hard to prove himself to the rest of the village, he met and was befriended by Mochi Hagotae “The Leaf’s Lovable Soldier Ant”. Together they formed an inseparable duo. One was stoic and silent, the other rambunctious and sociable. It was through Hagotae that Hitoshi met and fell in love with his future wife, Mochi Momochira of the Mochi Clan. They were soon married and eventually started their family.

Hagotae has a daughter, Mochi Kurimi, Izayoi's cousin and closest friend. They would play and train and just get into trouble as all little shinobi do. They are practically inseparable just as their fathers are. Even now Kurimi tells her that it was all thanks to Izayoi that she's decided to solidify her resolve in pursuing the shinobi life. Being the louder and more rambunctious of the two girls, Izayoi would constantly drag around her cousin to play in the city or with the other shinobi's in training. It was during these times that, even though her cousin was shy and quiet, Iza was able to understand and speak with her on a mental and unspoken level. As they grew older, it didn't happen as much - however it was still nice to be able to just sit in one another's presence and not have to worry about conversations growing stale.

Before Izayoi was born into the world, she had two other siblings. Twin sisters; Aneko & Kaede Both of them specializing in genjutsu and tracking - joining the ANBU ops. They joined and fought in the War, both of them losing their lives and making life around the Kiryu house... different. Her father pushed her harder than he ever pushed his other daughters - hoping that the same fate would not befall Izayoi as it did the others. He wanted her to be stronger and to be able to take care of herself. Although his motives were... well warranted, Hitoshi didn't express it in the best ways. His relationship with his only surviving child was strained to say the least and when Izayoi grew older the rift between them became almost irreparable.

For the majority of Izayoi's life, her father has hidden his family's true origins. Where he came from, who is truly is. Mainly it was for fear of rejection and the potential death of his family if it were to get out that he hailed from a dead clan that once pledged itself to Kirigakure. So, he's kept quiet of the knowledge, planning on taking it to his grave. It wasn't until the anniversary of her sister's death where everything turned upside down. Training with her father, uncle and cousin; Mochi Hagotae & Mochi Kurimi - in bukijutsu. The girls had been worked ragged and as she went to take a small break, leaning against her father to catch her breath, it happened.

It was as if she were being transported deep inside Hitoshi's mind without ever meaning too. It was there, in that brief split moment where Izayoi realized that her father had lied to her all her life. When he finally was able to get her to listen to him, he told her the story of what happened there in the village all those years ago. How he had to leave in order to survive. But she didn't listen. She resents her father for running away from the fight. Blames him for the loss of growing up without being surrounded and encompassed by her heritage and roots and extended family. She feels robbed of the chance to have an even larger family and feels like her father should "practice what he preaches" - he's so hard on her, constantly telling her to "do better", "work harder", "not good enough"... So, now it's how she views her own work ethic - making sure that she is in the tip-top position she can be at all times. But also due to her father and his cowardice; at least that's what she sees and interprets, it's the reason her nindō is what it is.

• A reconnection with father at some point in their lives - where she realizes the type of situation her father and the others were forced in and what it must have been like... maybe she's placed in the same kinda situation later on where she's forced to make a decision that might not be the best at the moment but it's for the best in the long run? Either for her or others around her.
• To find love and some type close bond with someone - maybe a deeper relationship than just friends...?
• To be able to create and use Blood Dragon Ascension
• I want her to be able to successfully blood bend others / creatures to her will and do whatever she wants - for a purpose, not outta any sick reasons - maybe infiltration missions or something???

• All the Energy Like seriously? How does she do it? Can operate on little sleep as is, but damn when she gets in a solid 6 hours - this girl is unstoppable! She is THE hype girl everyone needs and wants on their team.
• Work Hard, Play Harder Izayoi is all about conducting her missions and tasks and completing them as quickly and correctly as possible in order to fuck off and do her own thing. If she does it well the first time then there is nothing to come back to and fix, therefore more time to do what she wants to do.

Her genjutsu is amplified when using her Ketsuryūgan and controlling another being is made easier and available when Ketsuryūgan is active. Though, the longer she uses the Ketsuryūgan, the more her chakra is drained, and the strain caused on her body and mind is increased. After using she is prone to intense headaches, nose bleeds and bleeding from the eyes in extreme cases.
• Genjutsu UserBeing one of the last members of the Kiryu Clan Izayoi has been blessed with the natural talent of genjutsu; where it just comes easily to her. Though she oft times resorts to her genjutsu abilities when absolutely needed as she much prefers to swing a large weapon at her enemy. It does come in handy when trying to get her way with those around her.
• Bukijutsu User Being a member of the Mochi Clan by marriage and birth - through her mother - Izayoi has gravitated towards the large, broad swords and the even larger Fuma shurikens. Because of the types of weapons she wields and the sheer size of them, her throwing and swinging strength is intense. You wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of any of her blades and weapons.
• Adaptability Izayoi takes what she sees and learns and adapts it into something that she is able to wield and use to the fullest of her potential. So good at playing pretend - Asami has always been told how talented she is and so therefore all that praise went straight into feeding that ego of hers - which was already large to begin with. Born under an inky black night sky, no moon in sight, she came into the world silent like her namesake. Her affinity towards the feline race was ever present in her features and thus growing up she took to their mannerisms as well.

At a very young age, Kuroo was given to Asami by her father, and the two became very close soon afterwards. Before entering the Academy, Asami and Kuroo played together a great deal, resulting in her father getting angry because they weren't training enough. During her time at the Academy, she often cut class with Kuroo, stating that she wasn't suited to sit still at a desk, or otherwise getting into trouble, along with the other rebellious students. Together, they would skip class and go to the practice hall (not to practice). They thought that it was fun to also test the patience of their Academy instructor. One day, Asami fell asleep during class and, upon waking, saw Shirou attempting to use the Transformation Technique for the first time, and failing twice. This caused Asami to find Shirou incompetent.

Because of her family and their ties and affiliation with felines, Asami is very much cat-like in all that she does. She is aloof and mischievous, yet comes to those she knows she can gain attention from before shutting them out once more and just as quickly. Her moods are always swaying and is never ideal. However, once her she has been slighted - even barely - she will hold the grudge until the perfect moment to seek retribution.

Once native to the lands of Kirigakure, the Kiryu Clan were alive and prosperous. The heads of the clans were approached, during one of the Ninja Wars of the past, asking for more support and bodies in order to serve the Mizukage. The leaders of the Kiryu denied them anymore support as the war was coming to an end and therefore was no need to send more people to an unnecessary death, one with no honor. Kiryu Clan was given the ultimatum of submit, or perish. The threat contained the promise that their names and history would be wiped from all records - it would be as if they never existed in the first place. After speaking with the others of the clan, it was decided that they would feign submission in order to double cross their suppressors. However, their plan went to hell when they were betrayed within their own loyal ranks. Many died in an attempt to flee or fight. It was difficult to determine which were foe and which were not. They had been trapped by their own familial members as well as the enemy - loyal only to the Mizukage. The ones who were lucky enough to escape were typically hunted and then caught by the elite hunter-nin of Kiri and were dealt with swiftly. Anyone who did escape hasn't been heard from in over 30 years.

The only known surviving member of the Kiryu Clan was the son of the Clan head - Kiryu Hitoshi - and Izayoi's father. He traveled to Konohagakure; defecting and swearing fealty to them. Hitoshi began his new life, growing up among the Leaf's genin; training hard to join himself. However it was a tad difficult in the beginning, seeing as he was ostracized for being an "outsider". However, during his time at the academy and training and working hard to prove himself to the rest of the village, he met and was befriended by Mochi Hagotae “The Leaf’s Lovable Soldier Ant”. Together they formed an inseparable duo. One was stoic and silent, the other rambunctious and sociable. It was through Hagotae that Hitoshi met and fell in love with his future wife, Mochi Momochira of the Mochi Clan. They were soon married and eventually started their family.

Hagotae has a daughter, Mochi Kurimi, Izayoi's cousin and closest friend. They would play and train and just get into trouble as all little shinobi do. They are practically inseparable just as their fathers are. Even now Kurimi tells her that it was all thanks to Izayoi that she's decided to solidify her resolve in pursuing the shinobi life. Being the louder and more rambunctious of the two girls, Izayoi would constantly drag around her cousin to play in the city or with the other shinobi's in training. It was during these times that, even though her cousin was shy and quiet, Iza was able to understand and speak with her on a mental and unspoken level. As they grew older, it didn't happen as much - however it was still nice to be able to just sit in one another's presence and not have to worry about conversations growing stale.

Before Izayoi was born into the world, she had two other siblings. Twin sisters; Aneko & Kaede Both of them specializing in genjutsu and tracking - joining the ANBU ops. They joined and fought in the War, both of them losing their lives and making life around the Kiryu house... different. Her father pushed her harder than he ever pushed his other daughters - hoping that the same fate would not befall Izayoi as it did the others. He wanted her to be stronger and to be able to take care of herself. Although his motives were... well warranted, Hitoshi didn't express it in the best ways. His relationship with his only surviving child was strained to say the least and when Izayoi grew older the rift between them became almost irreparable.

For the majority of Izayoi's life, her father has hidden his family's true origins. Where he came from, who is truly is. Mainly it was for fear of rejection and the potential death of his family if it were to get out that he hailed from a dead clan that once pledged itself to Kirigakure. So, he's kept quiet of the knowledge, planning on taking it to his grave. It wasn't until the anniversary of her sister's death where everything turned upside down. Training with her father, uncle and cousin; Mochi Hagotae & Mochi Kurimi - in bukijutsu. The girls had been worked ragged and as she went to take a small break, leaning against her father to catch her breath, it happened.

It was as if she were being transported deep inside Hitoshi's mind without ever meaning too. It was there, in that brief split moment where Izayoi realized that her father had lied to her all her life. When he finally was able to get her to listen to him, he told her the story of what happened there in the village all those years ago. How he had to leave in order to survive. But she didn't listen. She resents her father for running away from the fight. Blames him for the loss of growing up without being surrounded and encompassed by her heritage and roots and extended family. She feels robbed of the chance to have an even larger family and feels like her father should "practice what he preaches" - he's so hard on her, constantly telling her to "do better", "work harder", "not good enough"... So, now it's how she views her own work ethic - making sure that she is in the tip-top position she can be at all times. But also due to her father and his cowardice; at least that's what she sees and interprets, it's the reason her nindō is what it is.

• A reconnection with father at some point in their lives - where she realizes the type of situation her father and the others were forced in and what it must have been like... maybe she's placed in the same kinda situation later on where she's forced to make a decision that might not be the best at the moment but it's for the best in the long run? Either for her or others around her.
• To find love and some type close bond with someone - maybe a deeper relationship than just friends...?
• To be able to create and use Blood Dragon Ascension
• I want her to be able to successfully blood bend others / creatures to her will and do whatever she wants - for a purpose, not outta any sick reasons - maybe infiltration missions or something???
• I don't want her to lose her outgoing nature, but it would be something to see cause that isn't everyone's cup of tea. So there should / would be others who don't appreciate her loud and rambunctious nature - so maybe a "rival"???

• All the Energy Like seriously? How does she do it? Can operate on little sleep as is, but damn when she gets in a solid 6 hours - this girl is unstoppable! She is THE hype girl everyone needs and wants on their team.
• Work Hard, Play Harder Izayoi is all about conducting her missions and tasks and completing them as quickly and correctly as possible in order to fuck off and do her own thing. If she does it well the first time then there is nothing to come back to and fix, therefore more time to do what she wants to do.
• Small Girl, Big Blade Her lightweight appearance suggests a fragile speedster but it turns out they are fully capable of carrying a big fucking sword - or in her case a large Fūma Shuriken. She may seem fragile-looking but is quite strong and not slow in any sense of the word.
• Ketsuryūgan Izayoi holds the bloodline Ketsuryūgan and all the abilities that come with possessing this. Her genjutsu is amplified when using her Ketsuryūgan and controlling another being is made easier and available when Ketsuryūgan is active. Though, the longer she uses the Ketsuryūgan, the more her chakra is drained, and the strain caused on her body and mind is increased. After using she is prone to intense headaches, nose bleeds and bleeding from the eyes in extreme cases.
• Genjutsu Expertise Being one of the last members of the Kiryu Clan Izayoi has been blessed with the natural talent of genjutsu; where it just comes easily to her. Though she oft times resorts to her genjutsu abilities when absolutely needed as she much prefers to swing a large weapon at her enemy. It does come in handy when trying to get her way with those around her.
• Bukijutsu Expertise Being a member of the Mochi Clan by marriage and birth - through her mother - Izayoi has been taught to wield all weapons in any sense from a very young age. She gravitated towards the large, broad swords and the even larger Fuma Shurikens. Because of the types of weapons she wields and the sheer size of them, her throwing and swinging strength is intense. You wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of any of her blades and weapons.
• Adaptability Izayoi takes what she sees and learns and adapts it into something that she is able to wield and use to the fullest of her potential. She relies on her intuition and delivers splendid results by adapting - be it ninja or non ninja activities. Izayoi never ceases to prove her fast cognitive abilities. Still having a long way to go, she still hones her skills on a daily basis.

• The Ketsuryūgan confers genjutsu casting abilities, either by making physical skin contact with the target or meeting each other's gaze. Upon which, they can hypnotize the victim in a variety of ways, or even delve deep into their minds to extract information. The Ketsuryūgan also gives the users the ability to manipulate iron, or more accurately, any liquid with a high iron concentration. As such, fitting with its moniker, the Ketsuryūgan can manipulate the blood within a living target, whether if be themselves or another being.
