@Pyrodash888 if you're on the hunt for eternal RPs, try Phoenix Wing, by Caits. That is an RP that will never die nor will ever have any trouble with people posting. It's been around about as long as this one, but it's gone through way more posts, players, and characters. There are next to no limits and few standards to mire anyone up.

This one is currently the only one I am in and it annoys me a bit, even though I know, it probably won't last 2 months, as seems to be usual for the RP's I did join so far, except for this one here.

It wouldn't be the same person sitting out every time, that would truly make it pointless. The team members would take turns but I digress, it was probably a bad idea to begin with.

Airship Docks

As Sapphire walked towards Beacon's airdocks ideas swirled through her head. Images of the various weapons she was currently carrying transforming into one another, adding dust characteristics and all manner of other upgrades. Being from huntsman parents paying for a new set of weapons wasn't exactly a difficult thing to do but she was determined to design and forge them herself. Sapphire's mother Melanie though a huntress by trade had always been passionate about engineering. Her semblance had been what she called Polymathematics, she saw the world as a series of equations, force, trajectory, angle, velocity, distance. While in combat it gave her a greater edge over her opponents but in the drafting room was where she really shined. In the years before her death she'd patented a number of more compact methods of technological folding and the servos and other mechanisms that made it possible. Sapphire had used her mother's work to further her skill in that field and was confident in her ability to create complex transforming weapons.

As she arrived at the docks one of the airships was in the process of disembarking its passengers. Among them to Sapphire's surprise was a student she never thought she'd see again: Geni Hung. Admittedly it hadn't been that long since she's last seen Geni, about two weeks, not since the first day of school. She'd been under the impression that he'd been expelled after revealing he was a former member of the White Fang and instigating a fight with a student named Ivan who hadn't exactly taken that news well. She'd looked him up that day after classes but his teammates said he'd been removed from their group and all sign of him had disappeared off the schedule. Sapphire hadn't dug any deeper into the matter than that though, the conclusion to her seemed obvious. Yet here he was two weeks later returning to Beacon with sleek new weapons strapped to his back.

He walked up and greeted her causing Sapphire to stop. "Geni Hung," she said, an amused expression on her face "long time no see. I'd thought you'd been expelled after the altercation with Ivan."

I can imagine you'd understand how it looks when a newcomer gets in with a set team (and even points out persons who seemed to be "gone for awhile" due to their concern that the team they were joining wasn't very active), then it turns out their spot is reversed cause the person is "Active" despite apparently having not posted (?) IC for over a month (from what I saw), all the while an argument is happening with a Co-GM about attentiveness.

Like I said, it's a little off-putting. My biggest reason for gravitating towards leaving was being out of a team. I didn't think creating a new team would be an option considering the hesitance to admit new players before, and so it seemed I'd be "set aside" for some indeterminate time while a spot needed opening.

My apologies for the argument about attentiveness. A few tempers got rather short and most of us didn't handle it as well as we probably should have.

I can imagine how that must look. To clarify we had missions take place IC Friday. For a number of players those missions stretched out through the IC weekend while others were confined to that Friday. We are in the process of roleplaying through the weekend so those people who are technically still on missions can't be active. With so many characters time doesn't exactly move swiftly so a number of people are stuck with nothing to do and no way to post until the weekend is over. Thus certain people were perceived as absent because in that lull were they cannot be in the IC they've also left the OOC mostly alone. My apologies for any problems this has caused but there should be some solutions to getting Culann into the IC without having to jump a bunch of hoops.

Rather than having to form a new team which I don't believe we have enough players for Culann could be temporarily assigned to an existing team till such time as an opening is available. Since the teams are meant to be four people this would likely end up with the team taking turns of who has to sit out of set activities but it is possible to make work.

@LokiLeo789 Did Sapphire and Geni talk at all after the fight? I know she followed him during his talk with Professor Chatsworth but I don't remember what happened after that.
