Current Two weeks, and I finally get my new Sarah J. Maas book. The bad news is that it is only 300 or so pages long and I'll finish it before I go to sleep. I have zero self control reading new books. Zero.

The best thing about this weekend is how much I enjoyed recording my movie podcast. Watching the Swan Princess again & destroying Prince Derek gave me life. He's the worst, even in the sequels.

Apparently if you have an older model iPad, it doesn't update to iOS 10 which means I no longer have the Netflix app on my tablet. Ugh. I cannot afford a new tablet right now. This bites.

Nailed It is finally a cooking show that I might actually have a shot at winning because I too am someone who epically fails at making Pintrest cakes.

I don't think I could ever get tired of Panic! At the Disco music. Every album manages to excede the previous one and Say Amen has become my jam.

:) Thank you! And no worries, I understand the woes of real life all to well! Thanks so much!
@LadyGrace

I have two ideas that I would like to share:

1. I would like to try a story from Game of Thrones! Although, since my experience with the fandom is small, I only know a few things. I would like to plot a story with Jon Snow and a female OC with a "winter-like" quality to her.

And 2...

A Western story with drama, action, adventure, as well as some elements of romance. Before I go any further, what are your limits on romance?

With fandom stuff, I much prefer characters who are original as canon characters are so much harder. Any Game of Thrones stuff I've done has always been before the start of the books, or several years after an imagined ending. Your second idea, I think I would be perfect with, and my limits on romance are limitless. So we can go as sensual as we want, and it won't bother me a bit, though if things do get above a PG13 level, I like to keep it in e-mail or PMs.
Hello all, the name is LadyGrace. I'm an eleven year role player who loves creating multiple characters. I write an average of 2-4 paragraphs per post, and would like the same rough average from a partner as well as a firm grasp of English spelling and grammar. We're all prone to mistakes so as long as it is legible, we'll be good. I also really appreciate partners who contribute to plot points and want to create a real story. OOC is vital, I believe, to the making of a great story.

I will be willing to role play via Thread, PM, or e-mail, so feel free to ask for any of those, though my preference is in that order. If I have one thing that I am really hung up on, it's ditching. If you're not liking the role play, if you feel like it's not going in the direction you want, it will not hurt my feelings if you tell me that you're done, just please let me know. I won't bother you for replies but if I haven't heard from you in over a week, you might get a PM from me asking if everything's okay. I will try my hardest to let you know if I can't reply anymore or if the role play isn't going well for me. Some writers just have chemistry together, other's don't. As I said, communication and OOC is very important.

Feel free to look through the plots I have below, my favorite settings, and a few generic pairings to build a plot from. If anything strikes your fancy, or if you think you have an idea that I might be interested in, please message me for us to discuss. Those striked through, are taken or being over-selected.

Favorite Settings:
Ancient Greece/Rome (Fantasy or Non-Fantasy)
Medieval Europe (Fantasy or Non-Fantasy)
Tudor England (Non-Fantasy)
Georgian Era England/France (Non-Fantasy)
Colonial America (Non-Fantasy)
Regency Era England (Non-Fantasy)
Wild West America (Non-Fantasy)
Victorian Era England / America(Fantasy or Non-Fantasy)
Modern (Fantasy or Non-Fantasy)

Plots:
The Lost Princess
Medieval or Medieval Fantasy Setting
Two kingdoms once lived together in peace. The Crown Princess of one and the Crown Prince of the other were betrothed from the birth of the Princess to unite their kingdoms and rule as one. The prince grew into a fine youth and the princess, younger than he was only a child when rebellion overtook the kingdom of the Princess. She barely escaped with her life disappearing into the forests between the two kingdoms, never to be seen again. Eight years later, the Prince is near he border, helping to fend his kingdom against a raiding party when he comes across a small hovel deep in the heart of the forest, so hidden he only really stumbles upon it. There he finds a young woman of beauty, quiet and shy, and with a necklace around her neck that he had given to his betrothed when she had been just a child. Where it goes from there is up for discussion.

The Girl In The Tower
Medieval Fantasy Setting
Sort of a riff on Rapunzel. A young woman has spent her entire life locked away in a tower. Her innocence and purity have granted an Alchemist all of the power he desires. Her pure blood giving him the perfect ingredient for all of his potions. She is used to nothing but isolation, and pain, until a prince happens upon her tower and uses the spell that causes her hair to grow like a rope. The two form a bond over several of his visits and then one day, he helps her escape from her tower, but the powerful sorcerer is not at all pleased to learn of his prisoner’s escape. Now they must fight the forces of evil that are rising against them or forever lose one another.

Arranging for Peace
Medieval Setting
Warring Chieftains of two high powered, and bordered Clans of Scotland, decide that the bloodshed must end. What better way to end the feuding than by both families creating an alliance with each other through marriage. With war being so much part of the lives of all involved, can peace come of the forced union between them?

The Emperor's Chosen
Medieval Fantasy Setting
The Emperor is a cruel man, obsessed with a prophecy that the dark thing that possesses him, must mate with a pure soul to create a being of complete power to rule the kingdoms with absolute authority. He finds such a creature, and keeps her locked away, until he is ready to marry her and claim her for his own. A resistance to the emperor's forces has taken hold, and the people are fighting back. One soldier hears of the emperor's bride to be, and manages to find the place where she is kept hidden. At first he means to kill her, but instead decides, that he doesn't have the heart to kill a girl who's only fault was being the Emperor's chosen bride. With no choices left, he takes her away from the place where she had remained hidden and brings her into the camp. At first, as a hostage, and prisoner of war, the two eventually find themselves wrapped in a passionate affair that might bring the Emperor's wrath upon them all. This will definitely be a more epic style romance with lots of factors playing into a complex relationship, and of course, plenty of side characters to help round out the plot.

The Mail-Order Bride
Wild West Setting
She was disgraced. Not by her own fault but disgraced all the same. With nowhere to turn to, she answers an advertisement for a mail-order Bride in order to escape the past and the horrors of it. She becomes wife to a widower, but her secrets don’t say buried for long, especially when the horrors return to haunt her and threaten her new home and happiness with her husband, and his family. For doubling, we could add in the widower’s sister and create a plot for her.

Scottish Laird x English Lady
Hitman x Girlfriend
Mob Boss's Son x Opposing Mob Boss' Daughter

The name is LadyGrace. I'm twenty-six years old, a great lover of writing and reading, and have been role playing now for eleven years, which is insane to think about. I come from the south eastern United States, and have a fascination with history and politics (much to my family's dismay). Never fear that my political opinions will enter this realm however. My sole purpose of joining Role Player Guild is to find like minded people in the writing department to create a great story. Hopefully that's exactly what I'll get!

My favorite genre of music is Pop-Punk, Brendon Urie is my future husband (I wish!), and I think that anything by Panic! At the Disco or Green Day is just boss. My favorite genre of literature is definitely historical romance with authors like Christina Dodd at the top of my list although I'm also a big fan of fantasy from Young Adult literature like the Throne of Glass and A Court Of Series from Sarah J Maas. My television obsessions are Outlander, Game of Thrones, and to my great shame Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

I mostly do 1x1 role play. I've never been very good at group role plays, but I do enjoy reading them. I also really like stories that deal in romance, history or fantasy so I'm hoping I find some people who are looking for the same. Anyway, thanks for letting me register and introduce myself! :)
