Bio

Hello~ My screen name is LadyTale, but you can call me Tale. You can also call me Chaos, if you wish. There's a bit of a story behind that nickname, but it's not one I'm likely to share. It would take too long, anyway.

I'll participate in many genres of RPs, but there are a few I avoid. Some of my favorite genres are fantasy and action/adventure, although I also like sci-fi and romance, up to a point.

I read a lot of fanfiction. An almost ridiculous amount of fanfiction, actually. If there are any fandom RPs out there for the fandoms I'm interested in, I'll most likely join.

In conclusion, I am Sherlocked, a member of Loki's Army, a Whovian, and an anime lover.

There's more to the music of this world then meets the eye... or ear, rather. All truly successful musicians have one thing in common: sonomancy. The magic of song. They can infuse their songs with magic, and the effects can be subtle or glaringly obvious. Well, obvious to other sonomancers.

Who am I? My name is Kara, and I'm a sonomancer. I'm also the founder of the Academy for the Musically Gifted, a school for sonomancers to learn to use their gifts and learn how to hide them from normal humans. Not everyone is tolerant of magic. Just look at what happened to the shifters. The humans found out about them, and now they're all gone; retreated so deep into an animal form that they've forgotten how to shift. We have no such escape.

It's my job to ensure that young sonomancers survive in this magic-hating world. Graduates of the AMG are confident and ready to take on the world and make their mark. Every one of them goes on to be a famous musician, some more so than others. Each and every one of them are brilliant, and I couldn't be prouder.

Congratulations, you have been accepted into the Academy for the Musically Gifted! Here are a few things you need to know before you arrive:

Orientation is two days before the official start of school, to give new students a chance to explore the campus and get to know their teachers.
Students are expected to live in on-campus dorms, which can be furnished however the student likes. Due to the number of students enrolled, students will have to share dorms. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Uniforms are not required; however, we do require that students dress modestly. This is for the benefit of your fellow students, as well as your teachers.
Enclosed with this letter you will find your dorm assignment and a packet of teacher information. This packet includes names, photos, and contact information, as well as a few details about the teachers.

We hope to see you at orientation, on August the 10th!
Sincerely,
Dr. Phillip Smith, Choir Director and organist.

@Athoriel

The assembled demigods shook their heads. No one had seen Ephraim since archery practice. "Jake might know where he is." A demigod piped up helpfully. "Or Nycteris. They know Ephraim best."
@Natsu It depends, really. The kind of magic expressed through song depends on the musician. Some musicians can heighten emotions, some musicians can do more physical effects. The healing and combat musicians, however, are the rarest, and have it the hardest.

Also, if there are no instruments/sound systems nearby, highly-trained sonomancers can create music out of nothing.

So, what d'you think?
Still here, but nothing to add. Death/Morana (is? are?) causing some angels Extreme Pain via loss of extremities, and that probably won't change for a while.
Farewell to you, too, then, @Karl Kadaver

James Oake

Location; The party
Interacting With; No one, but open

After receiving directions, James headed off towards the party, contemplating the tricks he was planning to play. Would it be better to insert himself into the party quietly, or make a dramatic entrance? One look at the moon convinced him. "Heh. The Moonlit Magician is coming." A smirk settled onto his face as he thought out his entrance, and a tiny bit of him wondered if his father would approve. He squashed that thought, however. What did he care what Hermes thought?

When he reached the apartment that the party was happening outside of, he wrote a note on a blank card and sent it flying through the air. His aim, perfected by years of practice, was spot on; the card flew between a couple of girls before hitting the wall by another demigod's face. The speed of the card ensured that it got stuck in the wall, and didn't fall to the floor. The note was rather simple, a single sentence along with KID's usual signature. I will be entering this party in exactly ten minutes. Kaitou KID~

After ten minutes had passed, he created an explosion of KID's usual pink smoke. As heads turned to look, he appeared when the smoke disappated, his back to the party, looking up at the moon. Then, he turned. "Good evening, ladies and gentlemen!" He greeted them with a smirk and a bow. Just look at their faces! James loved the looks of surprise he gained from his getup, grinning on the inside, although his Poker Face remained unchanged.

I agree with @GoddessSophia - I've never really liked artificial spreads.

... why are we talking so much about butter versus not-butter? XP
