Bio

Hello~ My screen name is LadyTale, but you can call me Tale. You can also call me Chaos, if you wish. There's a bit of a story behind that nickname, but it's not one I'm likely to share. It would take too long, anyway.

I'll participate in many genres of RPs, but there are a few I avoid. Some of my favorite genres are fantasy and action/adventure, although I also like sci-fi and romance, up to a point.

I read a lot of fanfiction. An almost ridiculous amount of fanfiction, actually. If there are any fandom RPs out there for the fandoms I'm interested in, I'll most likely join.

In conclusion, I am Sherlocked, a member of Loki's Army, a Whovian, and an anime lover.

"A shield, huh?" TsuMeTai contemplated it for a few minutes. He was strong enough to wield his sword with one hand; after all, it was meant to be held with one or two hands. Could he add a shield to that? Probably, yes. "If you don't want it, I think I can use it." That said, he accessed his inventory and sent four HP potions to Cin. He had made sure to stock up, so he still had plenty more.

"Yeah, that's right. We'd have to set up a rotating guard if we camp out in the danger zone, but we'd get a head start on the people who are staying here for the night." Kip replied to Mai'lo, before heading over to keep Matsuta from killing himself with stupidity.
"Matsuta, she's been here for a while. You've just been completely ignoring her - that's very rude, by the way - and you deserved the attempted attack by sandwich." Kip frowned at Matsuta. "Now, can we please try to get along?"

As the bigger boy started whaling on him, all James could think was, this kid has issues. He did his best to redirect Harvey's attacks, but he didn't always succeed. Ah, well. He was no stranger to pain. Not everyone appreciated his lifting their wallets, and some managed to take him by surprise. If they attacked before he could persuade them, there was little he could do, other than run. The few times police had gotten involved, he had managed to convince them that he was completely innocent. One of the benefits of being Hermes's kid.

Then, for whatever reason, he felt himself getting sleepy. It wasn't like falling unconscious due to pain; he had a bit of experience with that. No, it was more like falling into bed after a long day, and he didn't fight it. After all, no matter what was causing this or way, he could spin it to his advantage later. What he wasn't expecting was to feel as if he was waking up mere moments later. Then he heard his sister's voice.

Opening his eyes, James disregarded Raven's instructions just a little. He wanted to see where he was was, so he turned his head to the side. Immediately, he regretted it; not for the flare of physical pain, but for the emotional pain that hit him like a stab through the heart. All these years, and I'm still not over it. He thought, closing his eyes again with a frown. There was no need to keep up his poker face, not here, not with Raven. "Where are we?" He asked, voice strained. "We can't be where I think we are, cause this happened 11 years ago."
"Yeah, he's an odd one." And that was coming from a person who created her avatar based on a permanently drunken pirate and an insane mind mage. Kip watched Matsuta with a hint of nervousness. "I find it hard to believe that he's a beta tester."

When the party invite from Cin popped up, TsuMeTai was a bit too busy to reply immediately. He killed the monster that was bold enough to ambush him, and then hit accept. A short while later, Cin himself came into view. A slight smile quirked his lips as he watched his friend wave excitedly.
"What's got you so excited?" TsuMeTai called. "It must be pretty good." With that, he walked up to Cin and offered his hand. "Well met, my friend."

@WhiteStar19 That could work. I'm fine with it.

Also, guess who's not getting in trouble for fighting? James, that's right! Persuasion is a handy skill to have.
Kip's items were all satisfactory, at least for now. She had managed to walk the line between saving money and getting the best gear she could. By the time they reached the next city, she might need an upgrade, but that was yet to be determined.

"I know a few good EXP grinding spots." Kip replied to Mai'lo's question. "We can hit a few on our way to the next town. Hopefully the other beta testers haven't cleaned them out yet."

Poker face. James reminded himself. No matter how much of a jerk he is, you can't- Then the buff boy pushed him to the side. Oh, it's on. "Puny little magician, huh?" One corner of his lips quirked up in a smirk. "Don't you know never to mess with a magician? You never know what they have up their sleeves. Like this, for example." A quick movement, and a dove fluttered out of his sleeve to perch on his hand. "Very popular with the ladies, this one." He stroked the dove's head carefully.

"Or how about this?" A torrent of brightly colored scarves exploded from his other sleeve, landing all over Harvey. James took a step back then, just in case. "No, you don't look the type to be impressed by such things. I can usually tell. Perhaps this will be more to your taste?" He took a sheet of flash paper from one pocket and ignited it as he threw it upwards. It burned quickly, nothing more than a flash of flame between himself and the bigger boy. "I've got lots more where that came from, but a magician lives to surprise." He let a crooked grin overtake his smirk.

With a puff of smoke, he produced a pack of cards from another pocket. "You can do a lot with a simple deck of cards. The usual tricks of course, but with sufficient force, a thrown card can cut right through a pencil." James took the cards out of the box and started flourishing them. "Of course, a few card tricks done well usually work much better than a cliche, overused pick-up line. Perhaps you should try it. It might work a bit better."

Disappearing the cards again, James gave a rather shark-like grin. "Those are the more harmless weapons in my arsenal. Being a magician is not all fun and games. Sometimes, someone takes offense. Then I have no choice but to borrow yet another trick from my inspiration." He removed a small canister from yet another pocket. "When you're in a tight spot and there's no way out... a bit of sleeping gas works wonders."

With the aid of more smoke, James disappeared all of his earlier tricks. Including the scarves that had covered Harvey. "Of course, I don't want a fight. I'm just a magician, after all... and a thief." Inwardly, James breathed a sigh of relief; his poker face had held perfectly. A bit of amusement colored his thoughts; he wondered how Harvey would take those last two words. Stepping back once more, he gave an elaborate bow, as if this was just another show he was performing.

@MiddleEarthRoze Hmm... could work.~

I've got a few ideas for other f/c's - Robert Downey Jr. for Dionysis, and Audrey Hepburn for Aphrodite. My brother suggested Errol Flynn for Apollo, although I'm not sure.

@MiddleEarthRoze @GoddessSophia

George Hamilton was just a suggestion - I could see it working just as easily as it not working, so, scratch that. When I think of Hermes, I think lean guy with a crooked grin, probably Latino for some reason.
I agree. Asuna is too BA to just sit around like a princess in a fairy tale, and Suguha's love for Kirito kinda squicked me out. He's your cousin, girl, not cool!
ALO did what it was supposed to do, story-wise, and I rather like that scene on the bridge where Kirito turns into a beast and kicks butt~
The villain of ALO, however, did his job very well. I hate him and his creepiness! Stupid stalker pervert creep. I actually kind of liked Kayaba, but ALO's villain? Not worthy of the name Oberon.

(I do like some creepy villains - Rumplestiltskin/Mr. Gold from OUAT and Ghirahim from LoZ: SS come to mind - but ALO's villain is seriously messed up.)
@Yunagi

You are quite welcome.~ Anything for a fellow fan.

I agree, ALO could be better. My favorite parts of that arc were the flying and Yui. Seriously, Yui is too adorable for words. Have fun!
