You could, if you have the time that is.
However, i feel like - and this might well be wrong in which case he'll prolly correct me - Boboclown might not be quite as well prepared to run something like this?
Obviously i don't know you, Bobo, so i might be wrong, but making the Infinite Spirals seemed like an in-the-moment decision, whereas ImportantNobody and i had been planning ours for a while. It might be beneficial if we postpone yours for a bit, so you'll have some more time to develop it and make it extra awesome, and allowing the players to not have to choose.
The OOC for my adaptation has been posted: http://www.roleplayerguild.com/topics/45926/posts/ooc
Anyone still interested can immediately submit a character. The character guidelines are the same as ImportantNobody's, so you could reuse the same character. I would however encourage having a varied team, because loot is not necessarily tailored to the party.
Edit: No longer accepting new players. If you want to join, you'll be put on the waiting list in case someone drops out.

Somewhere deep underground where the daylight doesn’t reach are the Dungeons of Asmodeus, built by the titular demon lord to torment the mortals trapped inside for eternity. Once inside, the mortals are given a faint hope of escape: if they can make their way to the dungeon’s only exit, they will be free to go. The dungeon is designed like a cruel game: magical doors are littered throughout the maze of halls and hallways, which will only open if sufficient blood is shed near them, forcing the prisoners to fight among each other for a chance at freedom. When a prisoner dies inside the dungeon, they are brought back to life to fight again, thus feeding Lord Asmodeus’ hunger for agony. Until now, no one has ever escaped the dungeons, and all those who tried have gone insane from their repeated deaths. Soon, a new group of heroes will find themselves waking up inside the dreaded dungeons. Will they finally be victorious over the hazards of this demonic place, or will they succumb to madness like all those before them?

So basically, this is an overhaul of ImportantNobody's Wizard's Dungeun. 4-5 players will newly enter the dungeon and try to make their way through it, while I serve as the dungeon master. It will be challenging, so expect to die repeatedly and try to adapt to overcome a stronger foe. At the start, the characters will find themselves nearly naked, with all of their equipment gone. During their run through the dungeons, they will have to loot equipment from their enemies in order to survive. At first this will come down to basic weapons and armor, but later on they will also find magical artifacts that'll increase their physical or magical prowess, thus making for a sort of character progression.

The boss changes every time? Or did i misunderstand that?
Either way, you're pretty ambitious. Better get to designing those encounters, you'll wanna be prepared.
I see. I guess the plot would be similar to mine, except the final boss is a wizard instead of a demon.

As for mine, i'll have it ready to post in the next two days or so (i like to have the first few encounters thought up up front). If yours does really well, i'll prolly postpone it, cause i imagine few people would wanna bother doing two of these simultaneously.
So it's a roguelike of a sort. Interesting. As i understand it there's no direct goal and you're just trying to see how far you can get? Having no end goal might be demotivational to the players, so you'll have to make extra sure that the fights are enjoyable. It's doable, but i think it's a risky move to design the dungeon around that, don't you?
Well. we'll see. I can always help you coming up with new encounters, though i'm keeping the really good ideas for myself
Shows interest in my thread, then makes one himself, lol. Well, whatever works. I'll enter your RP if 2 or 3 others do.
We could compare some notes on dungeon design if you want. I've found it takes some effort to come up with interesting waves, as you can't just throw the same enemy at them over and over as you might in a video game.
I never said it would happen during this party, lol. If anything it would happen in a dark alley or some other place where no one can see them.
But even then, knives are all too messy if you have poison, you've got a point there.
Drake Baku said say, what if we both had the same target???

I'm imagining this wacky scene where both of them are trying to stab a guy, but they keep parrying each other's stabs because they both want to be the one to claim the reward, so no one is actually hitting him and he's just going DAFUQ.
Alright. Lemme elaborate a little on what i would do if you guys choose option B (and entrust me with this task in the first place).
I've been conceptualizing a roleplay idea very similar to this one for a quite a while now. It involves a sort of dungeon created by a powerful demon, where mortal creatures are doomed to fight each other, die and be revived indefinitely until they eventually go insane, so that the creator can feed off their agony. That is, unless someone manages to find their way to the center of the dungeon and stop the one who built it.

It'll probably be more dark and morbid than this one has been so far, as you might have guessed. Most if not all of the rules will be the same. I'm thinking there will be checkpoints of some sort though, kinda like Bonfires in Dark Souls. I also intend to have everyone "spawn" near-naked, and instead of letting them find their own gear after a while they'll have to make do with what equipment they can find. Later on they can find special artifacts that will magically enhance their abilities, to make for a sort of character progression.

What Y'all think?
