Current If we win here we will win everywhere. The world is a fine place and worth the fighting for and I hate very much to leave it.

There is nothing noble in being superior to your fellow man; true nobility is being superior to your former self.

Bio

Interests and Experiences It is best to write about that which you know, rather than to fictionalize what you don't know. Go out into the world and experience what you want to know. Then write about those experiences.

Oberstleutnant Klaus Heinrich had been up very early this morning. He listened to the morning briefing from his operations officer, intelligence officer and political officer. The coffee was strong just the way he liked it. He climbed into his T-80 Panzer, the wonderful machine designed by his Russian comrades. He was proud of his posting to this unit.

The unit meandered behind it reconnaissance unit along the snaking route through the mountains just west of the famed 1K zone of One Kilometer zone separating East and West Germany. He felt the tension stiffen in the crew compartment of his panzer as soon as the 1K zone was in their rear view. He passed the wrecked M1 Abrams, M3 Bradleys, BMPs and Panzers of his comrades; the ones who fought with the American armored cavalry forces near the border. He thought he M1 wasn’t that intimidating looking. It allayed his fears.

The column of vehicles climbed the hill. The Russian engines whining as they pulled the 43 ton armored vehicle up the hill. Shortly after reaching the top, his radio crackled to life with reports of enemy panzers and infantry fighting vehicles sightings. He immediately contacted his Fire Support Officer and Air Liaison Officer. It appeared the unit would be going into action soon enough.

Should I post anything in the IC tab?
East Germans works for me.
I am interested in this roleplay. This is an interesting concept; something I've often been intrigued with. I wonder what your intentions are for Sentinel's abilities. Are they strictly mortal using technology of the day or do the Sentinel's also have magical abilities or possibly immortality/regeneration?
Might be interested...
I should be able to post this evening (EST). Both Billy and Finney had not noticed the boy who wants to be a gunslinger. They will not notice he is alone.

@Kelewen you have a fun story you are weaving. Happy to be a part of this. When I first read that he wanted to be a gunslinger, I thought to myself, "most little boys want to be the sheriff." I remember when I was a little boy playing guns, my friends and I all wanted to be the cops. No one wanted to be the robbers. 19th century America was very religious and the children were taught to follow a "good" role. In fact, it has been that way for a few thousand years, at least. It seems the notion of playing the role of the villain or bad guy has come out in the past 20 years or so.
@Landain

You look good in your uniform :P

LOL...that's Ernest Hemingway when he was in the army. :)

I was a Political Science major in College. I took an advanced course on Constitutional Law. After the midterm, about half the class was failing. Of the portion of the class who were failing, I was the only student who did not drop the course. I also had the highest failing grade of that group. Instead of quitting, I went to the professor and asked if I could meet with him one on one to review the content of his lectures. He agreed and we scheduled nine office sessions where we talked about Constitutional Law. When I told him I worked as Police Officer outside of class, he was more than happy to work with me. He at least knew I was working and going to school at the same time. After the final exam, I received a C for the course. There was a time when I thought I was going to Law School. Working in Law Enforcement was merely a vehicle to gain experience in the Criminal Justice/Law system.
While watching Finney and Sergio training in the pugilistic arts, Billy heard Mistihkoman say, "Is this some kind of story about some great man? It sounds strange. Strange words. This story."

“Not strange at all, Misty Komen,” Billy spoke with a western Illinois accent. “Mr. Sergio was reading the bible. In Latin, an old language from the old world, the word bible means, book. In other words, the bible is THE BOOK. This is the story about the son of God. Unlike how you pray, Christians believe in one God who created everything in our world and everyone on the planet. He then sent his only son to live amongst man for one purpose. His purpose was to die on a cross for the forgiveness of man’s sins. The man’s name was Jesus of Nazareth or Jesus Christ. He had several followers including his mother, Mary and twelve friends or disciples who wrote down on parchment about their experiences with God’s only son, Jesus. The written word on the experiences of Jesus are recorded in the book. Yes, he was a great man. He remains a great man in the Kingdom of Heaven. He died for all our sins regardless of whether you or anyone believes in him or God. He is still there. He waits in Judgement for his brothers and sister to enter the gates of heaven. When you die, you go to his Kingdom in heaven; The Kingdom of the Lord, Hallelujah!” One could say Billy was a most pious man.

@BigPapaBelial
I may post again in response to Kelewen's post.

I can't think of anything in response to Kelewen's post. What are we doing next?
Train moves. Anything on the train? Taylor's racist views come to light yet? or save those for later?
