Interacting With: Minako Ikeda @Thundercrash
Mood: Relaxed → Enthusiastic → Thoughtful

Amy wasn't too stressed as she waited for Minako to respond. She'd actually found herself zoning out a little bit, having gotten more relaxed after actually reaching B Wing, as well as being more comfortable after having talked a bit.

She started paying attention again once Minako began to reply, although the whole slow talking thing felt kind of dramatic. It was like she was on a game show or something. To be frank about it, Amy wasn't sure if Minako was doing that on purpose or not. Anyway, she watched Minako tap out a couple of messages before agreeing to hang out for a bit more.

A grin spread across Amy's face. Part of it was at the prospect of having new company to hang out with - apparently Minako was inviting another friend as well, no doubt one of the 'intriguing' people she'd mentioned earlier, and also getting a little more time to hang out with Minako herself.

The other part of it was in response to Minako's teasing, to which she couldn't help but let out a light laugh. "Tolerable, huh? Well, what can I say, Minako?" Not one to be one-upped in the teasing department, Amy grabbed the other girl's hand, bowing theatrically."I aim to please."

As she straightened up, Minako asked her about the two schools. It was gonna come up eventually, she supposed. Her face becoming more serious, Amy paused for a couple of seconds. "Well, to be honest, I think people care about the schools way too much. A lot of people want to say Mayweather's good, Delphina's bad, or Mayweather's weak, Delphina's strong... You'll probably hear a lot of it. But honestly, both schools are made up of independent students that can make their own decisions - or at least should be able to. How much they let their choice of school impact that is up to them."

Amy shrugged, making eye contact with Minako. While she was talking about this, she figured it was a good time to try and give some advice. "I try to stay out of whatever feuds they've got going on, but if you ever feel like have to get involved then just think about the people you want to stick with. Not the schools - that's just a whole bunch of crap - but the individuals. That's what I'll be doing, if I ever have to."

It was the truth, as far as Amy was concerned. The schools weren't ever something that she cared about. The people in them? There weren't many that she'd stick her neck out for at the moment, so she had no reason to take part in their fights.

Tomomi had been holding back a laughing fit after Akira's first reading, but she'd gotten over it, keeping a halfway serious look on her face as hoodie gave the second reading. She'd zoned out a bit, but the second one at least seemed to make a bit more sense than the first. Some of it still seemed off, though, which gave her hope that hers was just a freaky coincidence. Hopefully it really wasn't some kind of supernatural stuff.

She couldn't stop herself from teasing Akira a little bit as he headed off, calling out with a smile. "See you later, lover boy!" she called, fully expecting him to ignore her. As Hoodie offered her his hand, she looked at him for a couple of seconds.

"Ya know, coincidence or not, your whole card thing's pretty cool. Nice meeting you too, Hoodie." she said, shaking his hand with a smile. It was hard to tell whether she was trying to annoy Samuel or had genuinely forgotten his name. Still, it had been a nice way to kill a couple minutes, so Tomomi was at least gonna be polite to the guy.
@vancexentan Changed Tomomi's weapons to gloves & knuckles like Akihiko from P3. Just felt like it fitted better + wanted to use something from the actual games.

Mae paused and looked at Wolf Claw, seeming kind of irritated that he was following her. "You know, I don't need you to babysit me. Believe it or not, I handled myself fine before you guys turned up." she rolled her eyes. "Seriously, feel free to grab a coffee or something."

She was really glad she'd gotten something to eat earlier, to be honest. Normally she'd hunt on her way back home, but she really didn't want to with him looking over her shoulder. Him and the Time Hound both seemed to get a little sensitive about the whole 'eating humans' thing - the concept of a food chain and the natural order was completely lost on them. Lost on the humans as well, who insisted on calling your average ghoul a cannibal - ignoring the fact that they literally couldn't eat anything else. It really got on her nerves.

A dark look crossed her face as she darted over another few rooftops, then paused at the base of the skyscraper. "Well, home sweet home, I suppose. You can go now, take a walk or go skipping or whatever you do with your time." she said, clearly dismissing Wolf Claw.

Behind her mask, a look of concern crossed her face. "I know you can handle yourself, but be careful, okay? I've got a good view from up there, so I'll be watching your back. If anyone tries to ambush you, I'll drop in and help out." she laughed, although she was serious with what she was saying. Despite her teasing, and the fact that he had a few screws loose, he was still one of the Pack, and she couldn't have him getting hurt. As much as anything else, she'd never hear the end of it.

With that, she unfurled her Kagune and flew up the side of the building - visible for only a couple of seconds before she reached a cracked hole in the wall and headed in to the top floor. She had a makeshift living area there, with a small gas heater, a mattress and a pile of blankets. There was also a sketchbook, which she spent most of her spare time drawing in - something that she'd never admit to the others, of course.

Instead of lying down to sleep quite yet, she waited at one of the windows to watch and make sure Wolf Claw didn't get ambushed. Anyone that thought they'd catch him alone would be in for a nasty surprise.

Tomomi looked a little surprised. Those readings, at least the ones about what she wanted, seemed... Strangely accurate? It was the last thing she'd been expecting - she'd sat down waiting for him to mutter some magic words and throw a couple of meaningless things at her. You know, 'I see good luck in your future' or something. Not some kinda personality breakdown.

Covering up her surprise effortlessly, she laughed. "What can I say, magic man? Full of surprises, that's me for sure!" she said. Thinking over the other parts of her fortune, she shrugged.

"I mean, Strength sounds good. And I guess I'm always up for opportunities, so Judgement's alright too. I mean, wanting Death sounds kinda dodgy, but if it's about changing things up then that... makes sense... kinda." she trailed off a little at the end, basically mumbling the last sentence about the Death card. After taking a moment to think, she grinned again, although it was slightly forced if you looked closely.

"What else was there... Oh, Fortune sounds exciting at least! Positive change is good, for sure. And I could see where it's coming from with the Fool 'cause I guess I can be a little 'unpredictable' - that's a direct quote by the way - at times. But life's just too short to sit there and plan for every little thing!" she leaned back in the chair, with a look on her face that was just a little less relaxed than usual.

In going over the cards, she'd said nothing about the Hermit. That one had hit a little too close to home for her, and she really didn't want to say anything on the subject. Not that she believed in this stuff or anything, even if it had somehow hit really, really close. Coincidences happened sometimes.

Still, she didn't want to ignore it completely, or he'd really think it had bothered her. "But, uh, I dunno where you got the Hermit thing from. I'm good with that, you know? I can handle being by myself, it doesn't bug me. Not at all." she said, although it was obvious that she was protesting it a little too much.

"Anyway, thanks for the reading, hoodie! Pretty cool, I gotta say." she stood up, turning to Akira, grabbing him by the shoulders and basically pushing him in to the seat. "Okay Akira, it's your turn now. You don't even gotta talk if you don't want to, so it suits you perfectly! Think I'll stick around and watch, if it's all the same to you guys."

Tomomi had been walking towards the town for a couple of minutes when someone clattered into her. "Hey, watch it!" she called after the girl. Seriously, some people didn't look where they were going at all. Unless... No, she wasn't a pickpocket, since as far as Tomomi could tell, none of her stuff was missing. Girl was way too cheery about it, but Tomomi didn't want to ruin her good mood, so she didn't yell anything else.

She paused when the weird guy in the hoodie started to talk to her, glancing at his cards. She was about to laugh in his face when he offered to give her a card reading, but then he said one thing that changed her mind completely.

"Some people are... afraid of the supernatural."

Well, she couldn't have that, could she? Who did this joker think he was, acting as though she'd be scared? She was Tomomi Katayama, and she wasn't scared of anything, least of all some stupid magic cards! Especially ones that some stranger was shuffling about, acting all mysterious. With a slightly offended look on her face, she went and sat in front of him. Pointing her finger at the guys face - or at least the front of his hood, she narrowed her eyes.

"Listen here, I'm not scared of any supernatural stuff, got it? You know what, I'll prove it! Gimme your card reading, hoodie guy. Doesn't freak me out one bit." she grinned, looking slightly smug - completely having forgotten that this was probably what the guy had wanted in the first place. But he'd basically challenged her, right? She didn't back down from a challenge!

Okay, so the girl was staring at her. It was hard to tell if she was freaked out or daydreaming or what, but definitely staring just a little bit. Amy didn't mind at all, but it just meant that she wanted to know what the girl was thinking. She said something about a 'Takeshi'? Amy had no idea who that was, obviously, but she assumed it was someone with the same power as her. Something similar at the very least.

At least she seemed to snap out of it when her phone buzzed. It was kind of novel to be honest, since Amy was normally the one that drifted off or whatever. After she tapped a couple of things out on her phone, the girl took Amy's offered handshake, introducing herself as Minako.

Amy breathed a sigh of relief. "Minako, huh? Nice meeting you! I didn't think you would tell, but cheers for saying so. Anyway, B Wing was it? It's this way, if I remember right." she said with a wide smile, turning and motioning for Minako to follow her as she walked down the path.

It wasn't much of a walk to reach B Wing, and Amy tried to carry on a conversation as they went, not that it was much more than small talk, which mostly consisted of Amy trying to find out what Minako thought of the school. "So, anything interesting happened to you yet?"

It took maybe five minutes for them to get there, but once they did, Amy gestured towards B Wing in front of them with a smile. "So there's B Wing. Not the most exciting thing in the world, but there you go. Um, is there anything else you need? I'm not busy, and I suppose you're decent company." she laughed, with a carefree wink to signal that she was kidding about her lack of enthusiasm. Even if Minako didn't need anything, Amy had appreciated having the conversation.

To be honest, she was glad Minako had come over, even if she did end up revealing her powers by accident. She'd been spending too many days recently where nothing at all happened, and there was only so much time she could spend indoors on her laptop. Unless she became some sort of campus hermit, that is. Even if she'd rather stay out of drama - for as long as anyone could on this campus anyway - avoiding people completely was an entirely different matter.

Tomomi glanced up when Shiro basically growled at her. "Oh, it's you. Suddenly I'm a lot less sorry about yelling." she sighed. She couldn't tell if he was trying to make her angry with his comments, but decided to just laugh it off, an annoying smirk coming across her face. "Although my butt's perfectly fine, thank you very much. Trust me, I've been told before."

With a light laugh, she turned and started heading down the path, waving at him over her shoulder. She slowed down once she was a few meters away. To be honest, Tomomi didn't feel like going home right away, 'cause she'd just end up with another lecture about getting a detention or something. She sat down on a bench a little way down the path. There wasn't much in town, of course. Maybe she could just get something to eat?

Aiya's sounded good, actually. Yeah, they always had good stuff, and pretty cheap for how much there was. With a nod to herself, she started walking down the path. It wasn't raining, so she couldn't get the Beef Bowl - which she was going to finish one day, dammit - but they had plenty of other food. She was pretty sure that they had ramen or something. Ramen sounded good to her.

"The only piece of ageing equipment that needs fixed around here is you, old man." Tomomi said, loudly enough to be overheard, in response to the principal's comments about 'delinquents'. If they wanted her to stop messing with people, the least they could do was have something exciting in the school. She stopped paying attention shortly after that.

Once it was done, Tomomi couldn't help but agree with Akira about the assembly's entertainment value. Seriously, she'd never been to something this boring in her life. Unless you counted the last one. "No kidding." she groaned. This place was sapping her will to live. She was going to head to class, but a hand on her shoulder tole her that one of the teachers had overheard her comments. Great. Needless to say, the lecture that followed wasn't worth it. Neither was the detention that followed.

So much talking. Talking, talking, talking. Who had half an hour to spend staring at the wall? Not Tomomi, but apparently that was what detention consisted of. So much for turning over a new leaf. She made a mental note to never attend one of these things ever again. Respect the principal, make the school proud, blah blah blah. Ugh.

Once she got out of detention, Tomomi decided to go straight home. Considering her options, she strolled out the front of the school, kicking stones along the path grumpily. In her bad mood, she didn't even notice that several of them hit her best friend Shiro as she went. She wasn't intentionally ignoring him, or picking a fight, but pushed past him on her way out, just because at this point, she couldn't be bothered walking around them.

Lectures annoyed her. Really, really annoyed her. Without even looking up, Tomomi practically snarled at Shiro. "Move, would you?" she said, not even realising who she was talking to one bit.

So much for playing it off, then. Fantastic. Amy sighed, although the look on the other girl's face would have been hilarious in any other situation. With a sigh, she grabbed the other girl by the arm and took her off to the side of the path, just so that her explanation would probably not be overheard. Still, to avoid whatever that thing had been, she decided to keep the field wide enough to shut off the other girl's powers. From what Amy had felt, it seemed like they'd mess with her head, so best to avoid letting that happen. She really wasn't sure where to start when it came to explaining herself.

"I take it that you were using your power there." she said, raising an eyebrow. "And it didn't work. That about right?" she said, making eye contact with the girl just to make her point completely clear. Amy held it for a moment, managing to keep a completely straight face. The look on the other girl's face was absolutely priceless. As funny as the girl's shock was, Amy really did need to make a few things clear just in case. Giving her a moment to get herself together, Amy decided to start explaining.

"Okay, so three things. One." she raised a finger on her right hand. "In case you've not figured it out, that's my power. I can basically shut everyone else off. Two," she raised a second finger. "I would really, really appreciate if you not tell people this, because I'm able to fly under the radar right now, and I'd prefer to keep it that way. And three," she smiled, holding out a hand for the other girl to shake. "Name's Amy, and I'll still show you to B Wing if you want me to. What's your name, anyway? I've not seen you about campus before."

She looked at the other girl properly, trying to gauge her reaction. Hopefully she wouldn't freak out about it, but it kind of depended how attached she was to being a super. At the very least, she didn't instantly strike Amy as a bad person, so unless she started listening to all the wrong people, Amy figured her secret would be safe for a while at least. Might as well be optimistic about her chances.
