Location – Ursula's Brew

@GingerBoi123 @MikkishtheLeprechaun

“One Screamin' Bean comin' right on up, handsome!” Ursula said with a lopsided grin and a waggle of her eyebrows that seemed to promise that Damien was in for a treat. She flourished dramatically and a mug came zipping through the air to land firmly in her grasp. With another overly exaggerated flourish, the appropriate coffee beans came from the overhead shelf and twirled through the air to pour themselves into a skillet. As the beans plopped into the skillet, they began to jump around, and with each jump they made a small “weee!” sound, as if excited.

She grabbed a vial of abyssal black liquid from a small fridge beneath her counter, then turned and poured the now-ready beans, now molten-orange in color, into a grinder from their skillet, their excited cacophony of “weee!” continuing even as the grinder made quick work of them. From there she placed a mesh filter over the mug in her hand, poured the beans in, and then, instead of water, poured the abyssal black liquid over the beans.

With a flash, the coffee was brewed. Molten-orange with abyssal black swirls. If one listened closely enough, they could hear the brew now saying “ahhhh!” in a low hush of seemingly excruciating pain.

“Careful now, it's one of my stronger blends. It might punch you in the face, but you seem like you're up for the challenge.” She gave him a thumbs up before noticing the customer waiting behind Damien in line. Something about the new guy made Ursula want to run, very, very far. Perhaps it was the look in his eyes? Ursula turned her attention back to Damien. “That'll be $3.25, handsome. I hope to see you around often.” She gave Damien another charming smile and turned her attention to the new customer.

“Welcome to Ursula's Brew, what can I conjure up for you today?” She said with a careful smile. She couldn't figure out why Mikkish raised her hackles so badly, but hopefully his order would go smoothly and he would vacate her store without incident. She didn't often feel this level of apprehension, even from the more dangerous Inhumans she had come across.
@GingerBoi123 I would say yes, but she doesn't have a complete memory of it. If things about it are brought up, she might get fragmented memories, and if she ends up visiting it, she would probably remember some interesting information on how or why she is a Lich, or who did this to her.
@EchoicChamber I just don't want this to end up in people feeling upset about how things went down in the future. That tends to happen when people have very similar characters, so... We'll just collab via PM if it's necessary at any point? I don't want it to be overly complicated, but if it's during a battle, or what-have-you, I think it would help eliminate any issues that could come up.
So I would like to have a small discussion with some of the players in the rp, mostly to make sure we clear out some air about certain stuff (and possibly create some unique rp!)

So I'm callin out to @Rodiak @EchoicChamber.

I'm not 100% positive if you guys understand the full scope of how your abilities could affect my character. Specifically, in @Rodiak's case with Aurora, and with Esperanza for @EchoicChamber, you're both capable of controlling undead. I'm not certain if you've read my character sheet for Ursula, but she is, technically, undead. However, she is also a higher level of undead. So, I was thinking of what interesting stuff we could do.

Specifically, if there ever comes a time when the characters are in conflict, I would like to clear up any sort of confusion. Our characters are very similar in power. My character is, at her core, a necromantic creature. How would you guys like to handle the control we have over our undead minions and spirits? Does the summoner have primary control and other necromancers are incapable of interfering?
Apologies for my double post, but I'm quite sorry for not posting here yet. I've moved recently so I'm going through job interviews and unpacking has been a nightmare. After my job interview today, I'll try my best to start my first post up. :]

What kind of look/atmosphere does Ace have as a school? Is it a space station or on a planet? Is it okay if I make things up about it as I go along?
Sorry for not posting as well. I've recently moved so I'm going through alot of job interviews at the moment. However, after the one I have today I will be trying my best to post. Apologies anyone waiting on me! @GingerBoi123 @MikkishtheLeprechaun

I'll be replying sometime today or in the morning :] (I'm CST in the USA, so about -6:00 UTC/GMT). Feel free to interact with each other if you'd like, don't worry about leaving me out because I can make work-arounds to catch up to you guys in the RP.

Note: Added her limitations while at Ace under the "Other" section in the bottom of the character sheet.

Ursula let out a bleat of laughter, high pitched and giggly, as she squirmed around mid-air, hugging her phone to her chest. Through the tears of laughter, she noticed a new customer from the corner of her eye. She slipped her phone into her back pocket and twirled around to give her newest customer her attention.

For a moment, Ursula wasn't sure what she was seeing. The man before her was certainly something to look at – and tall, which Ursula inwardly disliked just for the fact that it made it harder to look him in the eye – but that wasn't the mere sum of the man in front of her. Chains made out of metal and flesh faintly appeared around him and disappeared into nothingness just a foot or so away from his body. Where the chains would have led there seemed to be faint auras of void, as if reality ceased to exist in the way that Ursula understood it.

Ursula blinked and wiped the tears from her eyes, but those things still lingered all around him. He was definitely an Inhuman, but she hadn't seen something like this before. Ursula grinned at him devilishly, her mind was already made up: He looked like he could be the start of something exciting, and she was going to have some fun.

“Hey there, handsome. You're lookin' like you could use a mug of dark, hot, and with enough kick to get you energized. What'll you have? The “Screamin' Bean” is one of my personal favorites.” She looked up at the menu. “The “Flaming Cadaver” or the “Grumbling Ghoul” are also good choices. The Cadaver is rather spicy, though. And on fire.”
@Korin I'm not the GM or in any position of authority, but from what I've seen in the character sheets it seems like a wide variety of things are accepted. I would just try to write it out and give it a shot to see if the GMs agree with it. It doesn't seem like we have a character specifically like that, either.

Edit: about Ursula's ability to notice Damien's spirit companions, I worked with @GingerBoi123 in PMs to decide if Ursula could see them or not. We came up with the conclusion that she could see them faintly, and he was alright with my description of what Ursula herself could see. This doesn't mean everyone can see them, or even that they see them in the same way that Ursula does. I would talk to @GingerBoi123 himself if you ever decide to interact with Damien.

Re-edit: In my posts I often refer to any meta/supernatural/etc. characters or npcs as "Inhumans". That's how Ursula sees and refers to them, and herself, as. They might be called something differently by other people. I also refer to normal humans as "Regulars".

I also came up with the level of technology we could possibly have as: high-tech phones and holo-papers (meaning, holographic, self-updating newspapers that only broadcast the most up-to-date news). Maybe only a small amount of places have these, or maybe everyone does, that would be up to the GM/Co-GM to decide.
