Location – Monastic Dojo (Beach)
Mentions:@DC The Dragon soon-to-be character referred to as “the boy/pipsqueak”, @GingerBoi123, @EchoicChamber, @Rodiak, and @Letmehaveone2 referred to as the “demons”. In @Letmehaveone2's case it is Price who is on Luyenshilu's radar, and in @Rodiak's case it is Aurora.
Cool water lapped against Luyenshilu's calves as she kicked her feet back and forth in the pond she sat next to. It was the only place that gave her some sort of glimpse of the Divine Realm. She took a deep breath in, enjoying the earthen scents of her hermitage. Her delicate ears could still pick up the busy to-do of mortals, but she had learned to tune it out. The monastic dojo she kept had tall walls to keep the rabble of the mortal plane out, though some particularly troublesome humans managed to find their way through all of the protection surrounding it.
She looked out over the small bay that her dojo faced. It wasn't far from the park or the beach of the human settlement she was currently Watching. A small group of the humans who had found their way into her dojo practiced their forms in the sand, just at the shoreline. She barely tolerated their presence, and wouldn't if they didn't respect her and the pipsqueak she was saddled with. She scoffed at their lousy performance.
“They will not master the arts at the pace they have been improving. Mortals, useless as--” A sudden pain erupted within her chest, a blooming of sensation she had not felt in hundreds of years. With a low growl, she stood from her position and looked towards the city, then to the park. Her hands curled into fists at her sides as her bright amber eyes narrowed into slits. “Demon filth of the Underworld, how dare they tread upon my Watched lands?! Where is the boy? We will go deal with this!” In her fury she snarled out the last part, startling the humans at the beach who had the good sense to stop their kata and hide away from her wrath.
With a sweeping motion of her hand, her staff flew across the courtyard of the dojo and she snatched it from the air without stopping in her tirade of looking for the pipsqueak. She threw open doors, letting them bang against the walls and leave dents. Frightened monks scattered away from her as she stomped from room to room. “Where are you boy?! We have filth to exterminate from these lands!”
