Alekis thanked Price and walked inside. He ordered three coffees for and bought some water for the pits. He returned shortly with the three beverages hovering above one hand and three bowls of water on the other. Telekinesis spells were simple enough and common around the city for him to do it without a worry. Besides, things hovering were considered normal when buying coffee for a vampire and a person who could turn into a cat.

"Here you go." He set down the drinks and took the dogs and tied the leashes to the table before putting the bowls of water down. On of the dogs had been sniffing June and had tried to play with him.

Aurora pulled four horizontally folded bills from her wallet and handed them over to the man. Without another word she walked past the man, her white cane bumping into his feet as she moved it from side to side in front of her. At least the price for a braille book and a bounded leather journal were rather low, which made Aurora suspicious. She would have to get Marcus to check on the items she had bought to make sure it was what she wanted it.

Once outside the damned bookstore, Aurora turned a right and began walking down the street. She had agreed to meet Marcus at the park, and she was only a few blocks away from it. A nice slow walk would cool her head from the interaction she had with the insensible man from the bookstore. "How can he not see I'm blind?" She muttered as she walked into the park and made her way down the main road of the Central Park. She could hear the large fountain to her right, meaning she was close to the center of it where musicians would often set up camp and perform for money. Aurora like to sit by the fountain and listen to what the people played. Sometimes it was a woman with a guitar that would sing old rock covers and sometimes it was a an older man playing the violin. She liked the combination of water falling and the string instruments.

Aurora was starting to relax and forget the incident with the man when she felt something tug at her chest. As if her patron was recoiling and warning her to move away from the location. Aurora, instean to listening to the warnings, began to walk closer until the tugging in her chest became painful. She could see a blurred human figure at the top of one o f the green hills. Was that what her patron was warning her about? A person?

"Hello?" She called out, ignoring the painful tug on her chest as she continued to walk up the hill. She wasn't paying attention to the floor and her white cane missed a rather large rock that was half inbeded in the dirt, so whe she took another step forward her foot got caught on it and she fell down to the grass.

"I don't think people would mind him too much, as long as your hand isn't all the way down his throat." Marcus waved her worries away; he was starting to get used to the stench coming from Chu. He would have to get used to it one way or another if Emperanza would be staying in the city from now on. "Auora is nice but she had trouble expressing herself, so time will tell but I'm sure you two will become friends in no time. Do you have a phone too? You can do anything with a phone now. Like find maps of the city or even look for people that could give you a tour. I know they have instant dilevery service that is run by witches-- Oh shit!" He almost bumped into the man who had just appeared in front of them.

"Damn, man, watch where you... where you are walking?" Marcus was sure he hadn't seen the strange man walking towards him and when Esperanza said he had magic. "Are you like a wizard? I have a friend that's a wizard, but his teleportation is takes like an hour to make and it included a ritual." He said as he looked up at the birds in his hair. Curious. Strange. Weird. Marcus had met plently of people that met all of those discriptions but this man was more than just that.

He just couldn't help but to laugh when he called Chu a rectrum fox.

"Tricky" Teka

Location - City streets
@Rodiak@EchoicChamber

Teka continued to stare at the creature after attempting to name to species. he heard the male and female speak to him and brought his attention back to the girl when she corrected him. yeah, it was sudden for him to be in their way but his curiosity got the best of him while his bird's nest was on top of his head.

He stopped staring at the creature. Well...it has a certain smell to it and it has a butt ugly face like a pug...but if you want to call it Chu...then it's a Chu...but it's a Rectum Fox in nickname terms.... he still declared. With his eyes on the girl once again, Teka held his briefcase and slowly walked around the girl, scanning his eyes up and down the girl's body, basically checking her out in front of her and the male and started speaking nonchalantly.

Hm? Magic? I'm not sure...it's just something I've been able to do...and nah...I ain't a wizard...I don't say alakazam or show runes when I do what I do so...it might not be magic...if I had to guess....I'm a demi-god... he calmly mentioned while moving the girl's hair that reached to the center of her back to get a good look at the girl's physique, from the her back to her hips and to her arms. He made his way back to being in front of her. His eyes once again went from looking at her feet up to her head. I think you have a nice shaped ass.... he bluntly said with a smirk and then looked at the male in an absentminded response.

Oh!...is this your girlfriend dude? Asking after the male laughed at his Rectum fox comment. Don't want to cross any boundaries. I mean if she's yours...don't take it the wrong way but I would like it if you shared her...just a compliment...I have money... Teku said staring the male in the eyes. The guy looked pretty strong but maybe he'd be cool enough to let him chill with them. It has been a while since he's run into any supernaturals. He didn't get confirmation that they were supernaturals but that creature kind of gave it away that it must've been something that was summoned or something. Teka noticed the toy fox that the creature coughed up and picked it up off the ground to give it back and brought his birds off his head. meet my birds...named................birds... he shrugged. They are not angry like the video game birds but if they are...it's because they are waiting for me to barf in their nest..

Day 1
Location - The Park

Character Reference(s) - @Rodiak

It wasn't long before his departure down the hill that his progress into the city was interrupted. Caution. The female voice spoke in his head once more. With that, the boy froze in place. Caution? What was there to be cautious of already? He hadn't even been consciously in the realm for more than five whole minutes. His eyes traveled around, but yet another voice caught his attention.

Another female voice...but this one was external. He instead turned his head. A human's language; English? A mortal? She held a stick in her hand before her at the ground. The way that it had seemed, she relied upon the stick for guidance. He remembered a time that he had learned something like that for when he first used the Blindfold. Though, that said, had this human been cursed with blindness? Why was it that she had no helper?

There was a subtle intuition of darkness that radiated from the woman with hair of sunshine. What was this? His eyes widened. She had crashed into the ground. His nature led him to rush to her side in the event that she needed some sort of aid.

"Hello? Ma'am? Are you well?" Dejinkken transitioned his language easily. His voice was gentle, though firmly masculine. A hand of his extended in genuine concern, kneeling at her side to examine better. He subtly noticed the feeling of darkness grow with coming nearer to her, though, he chalked it up to the imperfections cast within humans.

Nozunali - Bookstore -> City Streets

@EchoicChamber@Rodiak@King Tai

After a quick check, Natalie confirmed what she already knew: there was nothing new in the bookstore. No new information to gain. It was sad, but expected. She made her way out and went off to find something of interest. What that could be, Natalie had no idea, but there had to be something the day could bring.

As she wandered the streets, she focused her attention on the people around her. Some things caught her attention more than most, such as a family of three interacting happily with each other. The sight put a smile on her face, though it was tinged with sadness as well. It was a reminder of her time on her home planet, and served to remind her of her homesickness. Sometimes she caught people staring at her, and a wave and a smile tended to make then turn away in embarrassment. She did not mind such people; Natalie reasoned it to be merely curiosity, and she doubted many beings with blue skin like hers showed up on Earth. Others still were the typical sights of human society, whether it be the group of friends conversing about the latest trends or the solitary figure too engrossed in his mobile device.

One sight caught Natalie's attention, and it was a sight like no other. She could hardly believe it, but a portal had opened up in broad daylight, and a man stepped out of it as if it were a mere doorway. Natalie's company had still been researching portal technology, and that man that came out could be the salvation she had been looking for. A chance to go back home. Excitement washed over her. She was a fair distance away, so it took a small amount of time to make her way over to them, but she made it without much difficulty. As she did so, she noticed that the other two in the group were quite different from normal humans, but it was such a minor concern to her that hardly paid any attention to them.

"Excuse me, sir," Natalie said as she approached Teka. "Did you- did you use a portal?"

Aurora

Location - Park
Mentions - @DC The Dragon

"Yeah," Aurora replied with a monotone voice, her hands fumbling around until she found her white can and slowly lifted herself up from her feet. She took a while to brush away any grass that she felt on her clothes, but she was sure she hadn't gotten most of it. While any person might have been embarrassed that they had tripped over in front of a stranger, Aurora didn't care what this man would have thought of her. At least he sounded concerned when he approached her. "Hurts." She said, placing a hand on her chest. "Why does it hurt when you are near?" Straight to the point. That's how Aurora liked it, and that's the only way she knew how to carry conversations. "One moment I was fine, and then it began to hurt."

Aurora opened her eyes, milky green orbs staring up at the man with the gentle voice. Light so intense Aurora recoiled and closed her eyes. The painful tugging in her chest got stronger, strong enough to make the girl stumble back a few steps until the pain dulled just enough to regain her composure. "So bright. Too bright. What are you? You're new; I haven't felt this before... he's angry. No, he's furious. Warning me. Telling me to run." Her words didn't make sense to the stranger, but Aurora had to know why her patron would want her to run as far away as she could from the stranger.

β€œHe is my familiar, not the rectum fox. His name is Chupacabra, but I call him Chu.” The creature in question made a bit of a gurgling sound, before standing and clambering onto Esperanza’s head. He licked his teeth, watching Teka as he eyed up his master and eyed him right back. He said nothing- only making that same, girlish peal of laughter. Giggling, as if Teka had delivered the best joke that Chu had ever heard in its entire lifetime, however long or short that might be. He made no move to take the little toy fox back.

Esperanza herself made no effort to hide both surprise and confusion at the strange man circling her, examining her as if she were some sort of livestock. β€œWhat are you doing?” She made an effort to turn and watch him, turning to follow him- and likely making Teka’s examinations far more difficult in the process. Something that might have been missed from afar, and something more evident upon closer examination, was that the woman was absolutely littered in scars- animal bites and burns and claw marks. Most numerous, however, were the cuts. Deep, jagged lines that ran across her arms and hands, as if they had been slashed open over and over throughout the years with professional precision.

She blinked a little at Teka’s praise, tilting her head a little. β€œA nice shaped...oh! Thank you. That is very strange of you to be saying, but it is also nice of you.” Her smile fell into a deep frown as the man continued to ramble on, a crease furrowing between her brows.

More notable than the change of her expression, however, was the change of temperature. Bit by bit, the area grew colder, as if being sucked entirely dry of its warmth. Esperanza’s breath misted in front of her. There was a sort of building pressure, a sort of feeling of many eyes watching.

And then the hissing began.

Gaunt faces appeared behind Esp’s shoulders, faint hands clutching possessively at her arms.

There were many. A veritable legion, an army, of all ages and genders and states of injury.

Their mouths stretched wide, wide open, growing impossibly wide, but before they could do anything else Esp raised a hand, and they collectively fell still. β€œI am sorry about my family,” she said, cheerfully. β€œBut they think you were being very rude, and they wanted to be making sure you would not be hurting me.” With a flick of her wrist, the faces faded like morning dew, but the hands remained.

β€œI belong to myself, but it was nice of you to give the compliments.” Her eyes returned to the birds. β€œWhat type of birds are they? They are very cute.” She nodded firmly, although her attention was quickly swept from the little ones to a new arrival.

A floating, purple-ish arrival.

β€œHello! You are very pretty, miss! What are you?” She immediately rushed over, amazed. β€œI have never seen anyone like you. It is very cool that you are floating. What is your name?”

The hands still lingered on her arms as she rushed forward. A spirit, the ghost of a little girl about six or seven, peeked out from behind her. Where the girl’s eyes should be, there were only empty voids, and her jaw dangled loosely- connected only to her head by a few strands of flesh. She waved shyly from behind Esperanza, tongue lolling a little.

Damien- Ursula's Brew -> The Streets

@DC The Dragon@Rodiak

Damien smirked as he took the cup of coffee and took a sip. Damn! The barista was right, that shit was STRONG! Even for one of Damien's blood. He pushed the money across the counter and walked over to a table by the window. He glanced over at the person behind him but didn't think too much of him. Damien kicked up his feet onto the table and continued to drink his coffee. This was exactly what he needed, and the "Screamin' Bean" brew didn't disappoint. Things seemed to be good, and no more demon attacks for now. He looked down and noticed a glow coming from under his shirt.

"Huh?" Ravana murmured in Damien's head. It seemed that all five weapon's attention were focused on this. Damien reacehd under his shirt and pulled out his necklace that was given to him by his mother when he was young. It was... glowing. Faint but it was definitely there. Something was up. This was the first time this ever happened. Damien turned and noticed that the glow dissipated, but when he put it closer to the window, the light got brighter. He had to find out what the cause was.

"Best follow that trail, Damien. This doesn't feel like something you can ignore." Morgana advised.

"Awwwww......." Onna whined. "But we just got coffeeeee....."

Damien took off the necklace and wrapped the chain in his hand, keeping the amulet clutched in his hand. He took one last gulp before leaving the rest behind as he rushed out of the shop. Damien kept careful watch of the glow with every turn he took. Any time it got dimmer, he turned on his heels and retraced his steps until he could find a new direction. As he briskly walked through the streets, he found himself at the entrance of the city park. He went from looking at a dying lightbulb to containing a flashbang in his hands.

"It's here." He muttered. Once he took a step through the front gate, the light had begun to pulse in his clenched fist. It was reacting to the presence of something. The brightness had died down to something manageable to look at. With that, Damien begun his search in the park.

"Tricky" Teka

Location - City streets

@EchoicChamber@Scarifar@Rodiak

Teka took in the thought of the female's scars which, to him kind of looked like a work of art. Couldn't help but wonder what the hell did that to her. She must've seen her fair share of battles and struggles. He ignored her correction of calling her familiar Chu and with her asking what he was doing while he was checking her out, he smirked from her gratitude of his compliment in regards to her backside.

Teka did feel the eerie change in temperature even though he continued with his conversation as if it was nothing and noticed something....well...somethings appearing behind her. Hissing and looking as if they were about to possessively take he girl, Teka wondered if he should either stop or just test this situation and attack. Not really in the mood for fighting, he kept himself from doing anything further and stayed quiet when the girl explained that the things behind her was her family. Those....dead things? She must be some sort of necromancer or shaman or something but her comment made him laugh. Fufufufu.....family huh? and hurt you? Nah...I'd likely stick my di-..aww...nevermind.... Teka said feeling that what he was going to say next would either turn out for the worse or could get lucky.

Having his eyes look up at the nest, Teka shrugged. I have no clue...guess I'll find out what they are later..and....what's your name, girl? He asked before hearing someone else appear while he and his newfound acquaintance looking at this new figure that seemed a bit bright in color but interesting to look at. Of course, Teka looked her up and down, noticing the female looked top heavy.

She was addressing him about his ability to use a portal and he had to admit, she looked....sexy. Maybe this was his lucky day meeting these extraordinary females. Placing his briefcase down, crossing his arms. A portal? Hmm....maybe I did...maybe I didn't...who's asking? Giving a lazy glance at the woman to see what her aim is towards his ability, not giving a straight answer just yet.

Day 1
Location - The Park

Character Reference(s) - @Rodiak, @GingerBoi123

Cursed.

Dejinkken blinked upon the statement from the sword. He retracted his hand that he would've originally used to help her up. She seemed more than able to, and her inflection implied that she may not have wanted him to anyway. That was a little discouraging, but the sword's statement stuck out in his mind. The word 'cursed' in conjunction with 'caution' left a derogatory aura for this area. She was cursed? He was to be cautious of whatever curse that this human woman had?

The darkness felt stronger. Something was off there...She was speaking again. He felt rather rude to allow his thoughts to crowd his attention from the woman. She expressed that she felt physical pain. At first, he wondered if the fall she had just taken hit harder than he thought. At least enough for her to lose some memories. He would have informed her that she had fallen to the ground, however what she added shifted his perspective.

"So bright. Too bright. What are you? You're new; I haven't felt this before... he's angry. No, he's furious. Warning me. Telling me to run."

She referred to a 'he'. Dejinkken quickly looked around, but he saw no others near enough to be speaking this to her. The darkness lulled a little more intensely with each passing moment. A sinking feeling was in his heart. What was happening?

Near! Two voices fused as one in his mind, Sento, and some other ghastly Male voice. A pang of pain met his temples. Something felt wrong. It almost clicked in his mind at an instance. Darkness. Curses. Demonic.

A demon possessed this woman. It was the source of the pain within her. Perhaps even what caused her such blindness. At a moment's notice, he grabbed Sento over his shoulder, her edge brightening.

"In the name of Michael, and before the Creator, depart from this woman, Demon!" Dejinkken commanded.

Price went over to table to grab his coffee by the handle.

Juno gently pawed at the dog that sniffed him earlier in response before shifting to human form to get his drink.

Location – Monastic Dojo (Beach)

Mentions:@DC The Dragon soon-to-be character referred to as β€œthe boy/pipsqueak”, @GingerBoi123, @EchoicChamber, @Rodiak, and @Letmehaveone2 referred to as the β€œdemons”. In @Letmehaveone2's case it is Price who is on Luyenshilu's radar, and in @Rodiak's case it is Aurora.

Cool water lapped against Luyenshilu's calves as she kicked her feet back and forth in the pond she sat next to. It was the only place that gave her some sort of glimpse of the Divine Realm. She took a deep breath in, enjoying the earthen scents of her hermitage. Her delicate ears could still pick up the busy to-do of mortals, but she had learned to tune it out. The monastic dojo she kept had tall walls to keep the rabble of the mortal plane out, though some particularly troublesome humans managed to find their way through all of the protection surrounding it.

She looked out over the small bay that her dojo faced. It wasn't far from the park or the beach of the human settlement she was currently Watching. A small group of the humans who had found their way into her dojo practiced their forms in the sand, just at the shoreline. She barely tolerated their presence, and wouldn't if they didn't respect her and the pipsqueak she was saddled with. She scoffed at their lousy performance.

β€œThey will not master the arts at the pace they have been improving. Mortals, useless as--” A sudden pain erupted within her chest, a blooming of sensation she had not felt in hundreds of years. With a low growl, she stood from her position and looked towards the city, then to the park. Her hands curled into fists at her sides as her bright amber eyes narrowed into slits. β€œDemon filth of the Underworld, how dare they tread upon my Watched lands?! Where is the boy? We will go deal with this!” In her fury she snarled out the last part, startling the humans at the beach who had the good sense to stop their kata and hide away from her wrath.

With a sweeping motion of her hand, her staff flew across the courtyard of the dojo and she snatched it from the air without stopping in her tirade of looking for the pipsqueak. She threw open doors, letting them bang against the walls and leave dents. Frightened monks scattered away from her as she stomped from room to room. β€œWhere are you boy?! We have filth to exterminate from these lands!”

Aurora took a step back and almost lost her footing again. She should have listened to him and ran as far as she could from this man. The pain within her chest was only growing ever so slightly with each passing minute. "It's okay; it'll be fine." She told him, but he didn't seem to listen. He only kept telling her to turn back. That's when she realized he wasn't afraid of the man before her; he was afraid for her. She balled up her fist over her chest and let his dark energy surround her, letting him raise his protection around her. To any human sh would have looked like a normal person, to someone who possed true sight they would see a tall figure made of shadows and hands enveloping her form.

... depart from this woman, Demon!

The man's words only made His protection around her stronger. She wanted Him to feel better and let him protect her, but she was afraid that the man could feel the dark presence surround her as he spoke. "It's fine. He's not a demon." Aurora let her hand fall to her side as she gently bumped the white cane against the man's shoe to see where he was exactly. "He's my friend, my protector. He doesn't want you to hurt me." She didn't know why He thought this man would hurt her. He had tried to help her when she had fallen. "The pain is gone now. It's just Him around me now." Her monotone voice was taking on a hint of assurance.

Something else was nearing closer, and He warned her of it. Aurora didn't feel the same brightness that she felt from the man she was talking to, so it must have been different. It was getting closer, and the closer it got, the more the energy from the creatures felt akin to the one she felt when she first met Him.

"She is not my girlfriend, but I do think you are a bit too direct," Marcus said, growing rather uncomfortable with the way the strange man looked at his new acquaintance. He took a step back and let them talk for a bit, making sure the weird man didn't do anything funny. That's when he spotted someone else approaching them, a girl a few inches from the ground. "This day is just getting weirder and weirder." He muttered.

First, a girl that smelled of years of decay, a teleporting man, and a ghost? Was she a ghost? Marcus thought she looked like a ghost. While Marcus would have loved to show Espe around the city, his time was cut short since he needed to meet up with his sister soon. He also didn't want to leave Esme alone with a freak that had a bird's nest in his hair and pretty much told her he wanted to fuck her.

"And here I thought this would be a normal day." Marcus pulled out his phone to check the time. "Then again, I live in a city full of weirdos." He looked back up to the small group that had gathered in the middle of the sidewalk.

Juno sat down and sipped his own coffee.

Tyler arrived at his house and walked inside, closing the door behind him. He went to his room where his laptop was and sat on his bed. He opened the laptop before turning it on. Once it was done loading everything, he opened up his browser and began his research on people with disabilities.

Damien- The Park

@DC The Dragon@Rodiak

Damien looked around. The park was seemingly empty. He followed the signals of his necklace as the pulse quickened with every step. He was nearing his target. Soon enough, he could hear voices. Well, apart from the five that seemed to enjoy constantly reminding him that they were there. A young man and a woman from the sounds of it. He could catch glimpses of them through the bushes as he walked around the path. The Half-Demon caught a glimpse of white hair, not too different from his own. Across, the woman seemed to have blonde hair. "Damien. They're emitting an aura." Bael warned in his usual cold voice. He nodded. Damien could feel it too.

Onna gasped in excitement. "An angel!" She squealed in glee.

"Nuh-uh. Not quite. A true angel's aura radiates that stuff. It's there... but faint." Damien pondered. At the same time, he felt the second presence. "And then there's that Demon aura." He smirked. Damien put his fist against his open hand and pulled out a sword handle, summoning Ravana out from his own hand. "You got it, kid."

Damien walked out from the clearing right in front of the two strangers across from him. "Hey!" He called out as he walked up to them, sword in hand. The Archangel pulled out the necklace from underneath his shirt and lifted it in-front of the woman. It was beating like faster than a heart. He brought across to the boy and now it was at it's fastest. Damien took off the necklace and threw it to the guy clad in black. "You know what this is?" He asked.

Seemed the angel aura belonged to the boy, but the demon was for the girl... or... inside of her?

Nozunali - City Streets

@EchoicChamber@King Tai@Rodiak

Natalie turned her attention away from Teka to see someone coming to greet her. Specifically, a rather frightening-looking ghost of a little girl. Startled, she recoiled from the sight of the girl and jerked back her body several inches, but a closer inspection revealed that the little girl meant no harm and merely came to greet her. Quickly realizing there was nothing to fear, Natalie smiled warmly and waved back. "My name is Natalie, little one. Please excuse me," Natalie greeted her back as she leaned down, but she was quick to end the interactions for her. The little girl seemed sweet, and in different circumstances Natalie would have spoken to her more, but there was a pressing matter she had to attend to right now.

Returning her attention to Teka, Natalie put on her business face. First up came introductions; it made no sense to begin a conversation without knowing each other's identities, after all. "I am Nozunali Grinmsborinith, but you can call me Natalie," Natalie said, introducing herself. "I'll get to the point. I am quite interested in your ability to create portals. Do you mind if I ask you a few questions, Mr..." Natalie said as she tilted her head ever so slightly.

"I'll take the strongest thing you have." He said simply, looking the thick woman up and down. It reminded him of the girls on the island. That accursed island where he began his journey to become the man he was today. "Grande size."

Marcus

Location - City Streets
Mentions - @EchoicChamber@King Tai@Scarifar

This was all too much for Marcus. He kept trying to wrap his head around what was happening in front of him. He glanced from Espe to weird man and now the new strange girl. He didn't have time for this. He has a bad feeling growing in his gut and meeting all these new people were not helping him at all. Marcus still had to go meet up with his sister at the park, and he didn't like to keep her waiting. To add to his bad feeling, she hadn't called him to tell him she was already there.

"I'm all up for making new friends and meeting all sorts of people, but I really need to go," Marcus said to Esperanza, ignoring everyone else around them. "I really don't like the idea of leaving you with that guy." he tried not to glance at the weird man with the bird on his head. "But this girl looks nice enough." He smiled at the new girl who had just approached their little group. "I'm really sorry, I need to go meet up with my sister, and I have this feeling that she might be in trouble--"

Ash. Old. Mold. Ancient.

He knew that smell. It was Aurora. She was in trouble. The only time he had smelled that was when she first made the pack with him. If Marcus was able to smell him, then she must have summoned him, or he had come out on his own free will. Either of those scared Marcus.

"I'm sorry, I have to go." He said before turning around and running down the street as fast as he could.

Alekis

Location - Park
Mentions - @Letmehaveone2

"What kind of blood?" Alekis began to rumage through his bag in look for the vials of blood he kept. "Human, of course." It was his own blood that he used in rituals. The blood had to be from a willing subject or the spells could go wrong, so he used his own. It was eaasier that way, and he didn't have to ask Marcus for his anymore. He also carried animal blood, but he doubted that Price would want that.

Day 1
Location - The Park

Character Reference(s) - @Rodiak, @GingerBoi123

The pangs of pain within his head were getting worse with each passing moment. It gnawed at his being, and his grip around Sento's koshirae tightened. His eyes trailed the woman's body but, with him now having more insight, he found himself looking up at a figured cloud up just behind her. It was trying to impose it's will within her.

"It's okay; it'll be fine."

"It's fine. He's not a demon."

"He's my friend, my protector. He doesn't want you to hurt me."

"The pain is gone now. It's just Him around me now."

A loud shriek of dragging metal echoed throughout the park and likely even rumbled down the streets. Water droplets slowly began to drop from the sky around the park, signalling a drizzle before rain. It bounced against Dejinkken's ears.

Closer... The ghastly voice whispered, sending chills down the boy's spine. He didn't recognize this voice, but he was trained to recognize the external sound prior. The metal...it was at a distance now but the fact that he could only hear the voice from within, told him that it was approaching.

His weapon was drawn from over his shoulder. With two hands on the koshirae, he aimed the bladed edge of the weapon upward to the offending Demon. It wasn't him that Deji was afraid of, but rather for the life of the human with whom he was in the presence of. He heard what she said, but these were not her words. These words were what the shadows were telling her.

The demon believed him to be a fool, and that it could delude him through her voice. No, demons did not have the privilege to act as Guardians for humans. Deceit, the only way that demons knew. It made the boy sick to his stomach but he held his ground.

Another shriek pulsed and he felt pain in his heart.

It is near! Danger! Sento warned him, and he took a step backward. There was too much being condensed in one area. What was happening? The Giver did not send him here to fight straight away. No...he just....ahhh...

Dejinkken just had to think.

Unfinished business...this girl? It couldn't be to kill her...no, not that. Sento's blade glistened with light from the sun. Rain fell subtly around it, causing the abnormality of rain with the sun still shining.

He didn't like this. Deji knew Him was coming. Teacher said to always avoid Him. Never let Him draw near. Though, because of that he needed to get the demon away from the human promptly. He raised the lightened sword and--

"Hey!"

Another voice, another presence, though, also external. It stopped him from completing the action and thr light slightly dimmed. He shifted his stance to one identical to the Japanese Ko Gasumi. Yet even another approached, a man. But, he had hair similar to Deji's own in color. He hadn't seen that before...it was strange.

His heart thrashed against his chest upon another metallic shriek, shaking his stance. More darkness was enveloping the area nearer to him. Though something caught his eye. An amulet that the man held and tossed his way. The shrieking became more and more frequent.

"You know what this is?"

When it was tossed through the air to him a voice called out of it as though distant yet longingly.

"Kenny?" The womanly voice asked out loud for the ones nearest to hear. Dejinkken froze, and just in that moment, a gigantic blade was descending from above. Behind Deji stood an seven-foot tall being, a Pyramid like helmet resting atop it's body. The swing downward upon the much smaller male from behind looked as though it were certain death.

Yet, at the last split second, Dejinkken's body vanished in what could be percieved as being similar to a lens flare. The Pyramid's blade came down to the ground, but without the boy there, the impact made its form shatter like glass and dissipate into nothingness...

Day 1
Location - The Beach|Monastic Dojo

Character Reference(s) -@LazerSyrup

If the little one could be found nowhere else in this giant place, then, it'd be in the place where the food was. Cupboards were standing open, several broken dishes were on the floor, apple cores and banana peels were just all over the place.

Though, in the middle of the relatively small room, was a mere stool, completely untouched amidst all the chaos. On it, was a small orange monkey adorned in a crown, chewing on a pineapple that was really the same size as the little creature itself. Diminutive chattering filled the room in little Sunny's determination to get to the sweeter insides of the fruit.

His tail wiggled, but shot out in surprise when the door was thrown open. Caught! Sunny's eyes jumped to the door, guilty with little his hands and feet clutching the tropical treat. Almond eyes blinked over at the dragon before realizing who it was. The little one gasped in excitement. She could open this!

"Loo-dee!!" He cried, lifting the pineapple over his head and hopping off the stool to bring it to her. He hopped up and down to try handing it to her to open it. It was clear from several bite marks at the top leaves that he had been working on it for some time already and that, despite having the brute strength to tear it open, he was having some issues figuring it out.

"Tricky" Teka

Location - The Streets

@Rodiak@Scarifar@EchoicChamber

Getting confirmation that the necromancer was not the girlfriend of that guy, Teka felt that this guy was going to be a c**kblocker. Seeing how he responded to him and giving Teka the eye of not trusting him, Teka shrugged him off. If he was going to be a problem and attack him, Teka would simply defend himself the best way he knew how. At least he was leaving, Teka didn't want to be acquainted with him anyway. he had two ladies now all to himself. When the male started to leave, he turned his attention back to the floating female in front of him.

he looked down at the little girl hiding behind the necromancer and after that little sappy introduction, Teka lazily averted his eyes when the female wanted to ask him question. "Natty huh? I'm Teka...you don't have to use the Mr part of it. And...if you have questions...go on ahead but let me ask you a question first...." Teka said walking up a little closer looking the girl up and down as if he wanted to ask a perverted question. Awkwardly silent for a moment, he finally broke the silence "Do you know a good place that sells coffee cake muffins. I'm in search for it." He asked her. We can talk on the way...if you know where this shop is at..

Price did his best to hide his concern about that. I was afraid of that. He thought to himself. "I would prefer animal blood please."
