@Legion-114So this is basically the post-war equivalent of following the chain of command after an assassination then.

In essence, yes.
Eden in his speeches often referred to some kind of 'senate' in his broadcasts. The idea is that this Senate was in fact subroutine programs/personalities that gave a wide range of possible outcomes and Eden was to pick the most logical one at the time. With Eden's main program lost/destroy Davis has uploaded one of these subroutines within his core programming, which now thanks to the new ZAX computer, he is able to expand his own programming rapidly... whether that's a good thing or a bad thing is yet to be determined.
@Legion-114 oh, so your guy is an inbred rich boy taking orders from another inbred rich boy? It's like royalty in the medieval times

Umm... what? :/

The President is an AI...
@Legion-114 I thought the President was dead?

He was, look at the file path :)
“Contact!” One of the troops yelled as the lead trooper fell to the floor with a solid clunk as they began to open fire with shells of plasma whirling through the trees, cutting down a few of the raiders whose body parts dissolved into glowing green goo. However, the troops did not pursue them, the rifle that was lost held a bio-metric lock, while eventually it could be broken into, the actual effort to do so would outweigh the worth of the weapon. One of the other troopers picked up the fallen one and placed him over his shoulder, heading back to the base.

Meanwhile in the base, engineers had rushed off into various departments, preparing power generators and such, however Davis had taken the only operational elevator down to the furthest level in the base where in front of him was a large, vault like door. Beside it was a terminal in which red text dashed across the screen.
Davis moved up to it and began to type in a lengthy passcode which then opened the vault door.

Behind it stood a large supercomputer, a ZAX-OEMGA series to be precise. However, it had some… odd modifications to it. They were clearly not of American design and they were hooked up to what looked like cooling stations.
Davis strolled up to the main terminal and began to type.

@Korbanjaro

What you are seeing is essentially all that is left in terms of physical military of the Enclave. Most of these troops are vets from AFB and RR. They have a new Winter Standard Armour, which would closely be an Advanced Leather Armour in game terms. However they are carrying signature enclave plasma weaponry, plus supported by Sentry Bots and Mister Gutsys. Should a firefight break out, the more heavier units will come an assist, however Davis is far too occupied with getting into a certain part of the structure.

In terms of a straight up battle, Hudson (Being a PC) is likely to be on par with 3 Standard Troops.
@Catchphrase@Legion-114

Are we looking to engage? Can we kill off Enclave soldiers, and what about the Raiders?

While Hudson isn't exactly looking for a fight, having either of the groups making their ways near his base is probably going to start a firefight. What's the general plan for this situation?

Well Zion Squad are investigating Catchphrase's gunshot when he shot himself.

Remember a big ass base as just came out of the ground, which the defense systems are offline, but with about 40 troops vs 10 or so is a pretty unfair fight in the Enclave's favour. But you haven't been spotted yet, and with their Priority focused on the base, you could easily slip away.

I'm not super familiar with the game Fallout. Would it still be possible for me to play in this RP? I've been reading about it a little bit, but some parts a little confusing.

Sure, as long as you know the basics you should be fine... As someone wonderfully stated earlier, most of what we do is 'unlikely' to happen in the FO universe anyway :)
“Sir!” Cried the Officer with the unusual PDA as he ran towards Davis. “We’re here! But… I don’t see anything. How, how can that be? These are the precise coordinates given by President Irons.”
However, Davis did not seem moved, he merely inspected the horizon, as if he attention was drawn to it; but he then suddenly remember that time was critical here.
“Fear not Lieutenant, it’s here.” He answered, crouching down and brushing the snow away. As the snow clear, a small metallic disk revealed itself. It was an intended logo that held resemblance to that of their own. Again he looked up, knowing that he was being watched, but he couldn’t delay any further. From his pocket he removed a coin with the Enclave logo carved into it and placed it gently within the crucible then stood back up again.

He took a few steps back and for a while nothing happened. The murmurs of disappointment swept over the troops, but before and could suggest that this activity was a waste of time, the recognisable sound of layers of snow and ice cracking roared thunderously through the dead forest.
From the floor, a metal structure rose, covered in snow and ice that fell as the structure continued to grow unaccountably. Most of the troops retreated to a jogging pace well away from the structure. – Military Origin. It took about twenty minutes before the shaking and deafening sound to stop.

“My God…” The officer whispered under his breath.
“Time?” Davis commanded, seemingly unimpressed by the structure that grew in front of him. The officer scramble from his awe shock and rushed to operate his PDA.

“Two hours til pass over, Sir!” the Officer replied.

But before Davis was able to issue any orders, the faint echoing of a gunshot disrupted his trail of thought. He immediately turned to the troops, signally a particular squad and pointing towards the ridge.

“Zion Squad, investigate that disturbance!” He bellowed.

No confirmation was needed, five of the troops then began to head towards the location of where the gunshot was heard while to others followed Davis into the base.
Will have mine up soon.
Alex strolled back into the tavern, his face pale and flushed. As he passed the stools towards the bar, he had nearly tripped over a few. He eventually sat down at the bar, looking over to see what the others were up to. That is when he had noticed Ihri but did not say anything. Rather he simply turned from her and began to drink water.

“Hey Bouldy, I trust you’re behaving yourself.” He called. Bouldy, who at the time was carrying some heavy furniture that needed moving simply gave a low accepting sound and continued with his duties,
