Morgan had always been a morning person. She remembered her parents saying it had been a blessing and a curse, they never got a lie-in but at least she was early to bed. The latter wasn’t so true anymore. This morning, as with all mornings, she’d quietly made herself a coffee before returning to her room and sitting on the window sill. She sat there and watched the city come to life, music playing through headphones with her coffee in one hand and a cigarette in another. It was her favourite way to spend the morning.
Faintly hearing the row over her music she smiled to herself. The Devonshires disagreements was also as much a part of her morning routine, signalling that it was time for her to face the world. Putting out her cigarette and taking off her headphones, she threw a flannel shirt on over her shorts and cami. When she first came here she was more concerned with her appearance, but this morning her currently blue hair was very much untamed. Padding down to the kitchen, she gave a small smile as Ena danced around.
"Morning." She said as she set to refilling her mug.

As the sun began to rise, Oscar was still very much sprawled across his bed fast asleep. For him mornings were very much for sleeping. However sleep too long and he'd miss another of his great loves: breakfast. After too many tragic near misses he'd reluctantly set an alarm so that's why suddenly his phone started to ring out 'La Bamba'. It was the little things, and it was enough to bring a faint smile to his lips as he stirred into consciousness. Fishing out the phone from among the covers he turned down the volume and jumped out of bed.
Hopping across the room as he pulled on trousers and finding a clean t-shirt, he then went and swung open the curtains.
"I think today will be a good day." And then that delicious smell of bacon hit him and his smile only grew. Walking out of his room he called out,
"Good morning everyone!" It was a risk - somewhere quite scary in the morning - but he was counting on Maeson's shouting having already done the most damage. Running down the stairs and seeing the beautiful sight before him, he dramatically put his hand to his heart and swooned.
"Oh Ena! You are my saviour, an angel, truly!"
