Ah, I see. So, to win we must accomplish this: Convince the gods to stop being cocks. Our chances do not look great.

I'm pretty sure the gods don't want to keep being cocks I am more so sure they are just being gods. Gods are assholes.

When you are charged with the entirety of the world and perhaps beyond it is very hard to make everyone happy let alone keep order through just means. Just look at the real world for example. Us humans are greedy, if someone kind comes along we will consume and abuse them till they are depleted, it's human nature. We do cruel things to others so out lives can be better.

If humans are like that then try adding a dozen other sentient species to the world. If you are a kind hearted god you will be consumed and abused, you will be drained of your energies because everyone is using you to further themselves. But if you are a mix of kind and cruel your energies life span has increased ten fold
Alright, also this little thing here has been what me and Lucius have been chatting about.
Welp, finally got down with that, there is now a present sitting in the PM box of you GMs.

There's different types of eradication. The Mage's College in Skyrim shows push factors of peer harassment and a general sense of get-the-hell-away-or-we-will-kill-you-all, whereas the mages in Dragon Age 2 were just murdered flat out.

The Nords just resent magic users because they believe it is more honorable to fight with a sword, axe, mace or bow. It's not that they want to murder them all it's just they have little respect for them. Save for those who are trained in restoration magic, they have respect for them as shown in the temple of Kynerath. And also its different for necromancers, they have the idea of "they all need to die" when it comes to necromancers

To a lesser extent, the Mage's College in Skyrim can serve as an example, as well.

I don't think its like the Skyrim mage's college at all, because the mages there are never attempted to be eradicated like the mages were in Dragon Age 2.

All magic relies on Archanite, in some way or form. And even if technology will have a hard time replacing more specialized magic, there are other ways to lose them. Like simply killing off all those who practice it.As Satori's demonstration showed, not everyone likes the idea that someone could go poking into your head or give you horrible nightmares. People would get killed just to make sure it doesn't happen.Demonmancers would likely get hit hard from this due to the inherent nature of demons and would be hunted down to prevent Demons from entering out world. Not that it'll stop them, but it's the thought that counts.Noxomancers are in the same boat as Psychomancers; they share a similar blood, so they'll be hunted down at the risk they too will become Psychomancers. And so on and so forth. But that's just in the realms of possibilities, who knows what the future holds for us. Maybe magic and technology could go hand-in-hand and live long and prosper. Isn't that what you students are suppose to ensure happens?

Just look at the Dragon age series. That's the perfect example. Mages get alienated and locked away because they are too powerful and cannot be trusted, not to mention that if they can easily be possessed by demons.
Alright thank you. I can get on to writing Deven's post then.
Has anyone engaged Mackendrick yet?
Ahh, my first Saturday free since I started this job....this feels....odd.

Anyway, time to get to posting and resuming mine and Lucius's conversation, after which its time to raise hell on Dark Souls 2.
