@Wernher Yeah...that's a little too coincidental for me lol. You gotta work for it. A few posts dealing with the superintendent investigating Vigilance's background, contacting underworld informants, and kicking down some doors would give me time to put Narcissa in a good place as far as the upcoming gang war goes. Besides, it would also give some other player characters a chance to get involved.

...I actually really like that idea. Narcissa is obsessed with the idea of 'atoning' for the Great Fire of 1985. Basically, she wants to send 200 evil people to the afterlife to balance the 200 innocents who died in the blaze. I'm all for this idea. Whether Narcissa ultimately teams up with the superintendent to take down Nyxvira or goes after the SSPD leader herself...I'm not sure. She might do both. Considering there's a gang war between the Nyctari and the Bloodbloom Syndicate coming, I think this is going to be awesome. I fully support this.
EDIT: One thing to keep in mind is that few people know what Vigilance/Narcissa actually looks like beneath her mask. Only a few close friends and members of the Bloodbloom Syndicate would be able to recognize her in street clothes.

Mmm...as far as Vigilance is concerned, I know it's public knowledge that a sword-wielding elf wearing a death mask is Nyxvira's favorite enforcer and personal bounty killer. Only a few people would know Vigilance used to be Officer Narcissa Veclis of the SSPD. All files on the Great Fire of 1985 would probably mention Officers Veclis and Tavellan, Narcissa's lover at the time, died in the blaze. No bodies were found, though. I can't think of anything else involving Vigilance that would be public knowledge...

Hey all. So, after getting my shit together, I'm coming back. Atrophy, your post involving Vigilance and the Rat attack was beautiful. You're awesome. And now Narcissa has a hate-on for Valorie breaking one of her swords. I'm going to read through the IC to brainstorm some possible ways for my brooding ljosalfr to get back into the mix. ...So...apart from the awesome post Atrophy wrote, has Vigilance done anything important? Because I'd love to come back and play her. All the other RPs I'm involved with are still in their opening stages, and I've been thinking about Narcissa for awhile. If she's not dead lol. I haven't been keeping too close an eye on the IC.
