I am an adult, I do feel semi-uncomfortable with the idea of roleplaying with minors. I don't really think it's the idea of rping with them, but just that fact that too many rules go along with minors and laws (different to every state and/or country/province), and it makes me nervous to say the least.
I am perfectly comfortable with casual roleplay, one on one roleplay, throw away characters (simply for another's progression), long term, short term.
I tend to migrate towards modern or fantasy. I am a lore junky for elder scrolls.
I have never roleplayed much on forums, so consider me brand new to this style!
I do have a character that I have morphed many times to fit the rp at hand, but I can easily create new ones if someone needs more characters or whatever is needed.
Now, in reals, I am pretty chill. I am not strict about grammar, just don't look illiterate. I am used to being on voice platforms(not for IC purposes, but OOC.). Sometimes it helps explain actions or any kind of confusion, or it could simply just be social. I tend to be sarcastic, my humor dry. More often than not people think I am just being an asshole, especially through text based platforms.
I am a lesbian, so naturally, I migrate towards those forms of relationships in my rp, so if you have any form of LGBT issues, or if you don't like your female character getting hit on by another, you may need to head off to find someone else.
I have been roleplaying since I was 10, which will make it 14 years in November. I have quite a bit of experience, except for forum roleplay. I will not try to make it sound like I am magnificent at rp, but I have done it awhile, and I know how to have detph.
I used to do the Multi-Paragraph posting, but as time went on, the platforms I used for rp seemed to be either dwindling on participation, or their posts were short and brusque. That is boring to me. I would like to actually write a story with someone, not simply type what my character is saying.
I have roleplayed a wide variety of characters; from young teens to elderly, happy go lucky to sour and bitter, domineering to subservient. I enjoy it all.
Honestly, I do not know how to go about inserting myself into rp within a forum. I would love to meet someone who could teach me a thing or two about it. I am a quick learner.
