@WrongEndoftheRainbow The thing is, if you have infinite energy, infinite energy is effectively equal to infinite mass. E equals MC squared after all, and such a culture that can build infinite energy devices, probably knows how to turn energy directly into mass. If they can improve tech, they can obviously think up new concepts, so the reason that 'they're looking for more knowledge to steal' doesn't make sense.

I think the UniUnion would've stopped being a culture that thought of 'material needs' long, long ago. The only problems they could have that I can even comprehend, being a member of a filthy single planet species, is 'hey, let's stop heat death' 'hey, let's make more of ourselves and screw around in mock wars. I'm really bored' 'hey, let's play gods for shits and giggles. I'm really bored', or 'hey, let's make a new universe in our image!' and things such as that.
I'm just wondering what such a culture even wants in other galaxies.

If they can make energy out of basically nothing (Vacuum energy) and have 'sufficiently advanced technology that's indistinguishable from magic'... what business do they have in screwing around with other galaxies? Don't they have better things to do? I mean, any culture that can do that realizes that the universe is going to suffer from heat-death eventually. If they have effectively unlimited power, why are they wasting time goofing about in the universe instead of fixing the heat death problem?

Edit: I don't think such a culture would even think on the same level as any other culture. They should have different things to think about aside from 'more land' 'more energy' 'more smarts' and whatnot. I doubt they actually used up everything in their home galaxies. Life has a fundamental aspect; it won't do shit it feels like it doesn't actually need to. If they have multiple galaxies, I doubt they have 'regular' problems we can relate to. What other problems could they have?
So did we explode? I was basically doing Total Annihilation/Supreme Commander but with more space and aliens. And brain uploading.
Banned for not liking Nicholas Cage
Wow, uhh.. what did I miss...?

I still haven't made an NCS or whatever you guys call them; I honestly can't settle on any one idea. I've went over robotic 'benevolent precursors' hiding out on a ringworld, moth dudes with biological and magic technologies, a combination of the two previous ideas merged with a 'oh yeah, there's a giant monster in this dyson sphere. it's a cage.', and now I'm thinking of the born-again consciousnesses of a previous coalition of races who uploaded themselves to one or two 'computer planets' to survive some previous apocalyptic war. Like the CORE from Total Annihilation? That'd be cool.

I think I'm just gonna go with that.
[Computer whirring noises]

...Ah, right.

Edit: I'll just pick secret option C: Something completely inexplicable!
Man, I really want to join this, but I'm really not sure what to use. I was originally going to go with 'ringworld space police robots' as soon as I heard about this, that used really high technologies to basically be, well, space police. Galactic-standard-protocol-setters. However, now I'm toying with the idea of semi-majyk based, pacifistic moth people who want to change the galaxy through the use of magic-based biotechnologies and helping other societies with the aforementioned technologies.

I'll write both their sheets up and think about it some more I guess.
That's Papa Emprah LHG The Most Dankest to you, bruh
>Probably would've gone catatonic for a few months

Well, back in my day, his brain would've exploded.

I'm the original creator of the setting lmao
In NCQ5 8 yrs ago Forum: Advanced Roleplay
@Admiralkio Bruh that's a good CS, but you're supposed to put it in the OOC, then copy and paste it to the CHAr tab once I've approved of it.

It's a good CS but fucking hell fam, seriously?

Anyway, I'm still reading and digesting the NC, but you should add letter grades to each of the NC's attributes. Read the codex's entry on NC letter grades (should be under the 'Ruling Companies' tab right now).

Edit: Moved it to the new 'Neural Combatants and you' tab.

Edit 2: Thanks, but I didn't necessarily say to remove it. as I mentioned, it was a good CS. Yeah feel free to move it back is what I'm saying lmao. Nonetheless, remember the grading thing
