Alefpria has access to metals, and various fruits and vegetation, primarily because Allure went batshit and basically tore up half the landscape; exposing ores, and cleaving new rivers to transport abundant soil. How Alefprians use metals, or shape them, will be introduced in three weeks. Alefpria also has leathers due to the fact Susa is a hero of emotion.

(It has something to do with wicked laser arm magic.)

IM ON MY WAY TO LEGAL DRINKING AND WILLIAM WALLACE BOIS
I need to put some army statistics up when I get back, marionette cavalry and scheming Vestecian/Vesemerian Boreale Wizards are a guarantee, however. Crystal arms ahoy!

(Translator's note: the moniker of Boreale stems from the Phantasmagorian sky created by Illunabar; which Alefprians refer to as the 'Phantasmic Boreale'. Since the Phantasmagoria doesn't get enough love around here.)

Not yet. I have some things I want to do with Kyre after the horde/Violence problem is dealt with.

K, PM me when you're done, then.
@poog the pig

Yare yare dazē... :^)

I always mained medic in TF2, before Overwatch came out that is.

Also @Frettzo, if I didn't know you were a real person - that self promotion tab on your signature would make you look like a spam bot
@WrongEndoftheRainbow

Invent leatherworking, to create the first form of actual armor. Then the army of Amestris will actually have more in the way of bodily protection.

I wanted to do it, so I can progress Kyre's expanding into the Armament portfolio, but go ahead with that.

Hey, want to PM me so we can have a platform to kick off a collab when I get back from Scotland? I'm building a roster at this point to make up for lost time.

I've got a lot of creative ideas that I want to put into motion, but it's just very hard to do when I'm locked down in a stone age. There's a lot of storyline potential in advancing into something where we at least have written communication.

Alefpria has writing, however early in its stages, so it does exist already.
Being quite honest, I still think it's bullshit how mortals haven't discovered the wheel on their own by now. It seems like mortals can't do anything without some God or Goddess inspiring them.

Ditto.

I get that since they based their (demi)gods around technology those few people want to be the ones to make wheels and so on, but if their monopoly over that form of technological advancement holds the RP back then it should be broken.

From past conversations I know that we're fairly divided (some would've liked to just breeze into a medieval-LOTR era as we did in the last Divinus, whereas others are really savoring this primitive stage) but I think we all can agree that there needs to be some steady progression. To any that really want to keep RPing in a Stone Age setting, my answer is to make a separate planet in the RP that has a lower technology level. Easy. Then that opens up Galbar to more storyline potential.

So, my stance on the issue: I'm all in favor of getting technology chugging along, and I see no issue with Lazarus, Amartia, or anyone else contributing (albeit in what's probably a smaller way). Trying to seize complete control of technological advancement for Teknall and the demisisters is about as extreme as Zephyrion and his elementals assuming control over the formation of all landforms and me telling everyone else that they can't make these mountains and oceans. There can be some middle ground, folks.

Thoughts @Kho@Rtron?

I'm not adverse to technological advancement, I just adjust myself to the pace of the RP - but I also think we shouldn't play it like Civ V; this is a creative writing as a collaboration, not a video game. However, I won't stop anyone.

Hover wagons. Constant curse of force on the bottom, holding up the wagon. Plus it'll be easier to pull around than wheeled wagons! Another thing to add to the five course dinner of "Things Lazarus Needs To Do"

That's a start, just look at Morrowind, or Discworld for odd solutions to everyday issues.

While I'd love to at least give them a few basic technologies like wheels, the crafting gods have claimed dominion over that tech. That's why I'm advancing the arcane arts and organizing and standardizing divinity.

*shrug

Just find a creative way to do it, or a creative alternative, and I'd say the latter would be easier on ya.
