It's more or less a socialist monarchy due to the fact the Alefprians are taught to be empathetic rather than selfish. Unlike the modern human bean.

Lif is the first demigod, not the first hero.
According to Kho he is the main character though. So I got that going for me.
This could mean many things though, as Sean Bean was the MC of GoT and he died in the first season.
Whether Lif lives long enough to see his dream fulfilled, or dies and leaves an infinite ripple throughout the fabric of sentient aspiration as a martyr is up to you guys.
EDIT: Or whether or not Belvast goes unmolested

Lifprasil is basically a shounen manga hero in disguise.
I'll have y'all know, Ull'Yang is a family guy. If and when he realises that his sibling's body parts are worn as accessories by mortals/demigods/heroes and generally anyone, he will be mad.
Right now, he doesn't even know that Vulamera, Mammon and Realthos are dead. He will have a talk with Vestec and Vowzra after he finds out.
