Welcome to the site. There's quite a menagerie here for you to pick from, and it's quite possibly one of the largest free form RP sites active at the moment. Which means RP styles and quality pretty much run the gamut here.

If you're a history student, you could glance at the Nation RPs. Not my cup of tea personally, but I peruse them occasionally just to be blown away by the amount of detail people pour into them.

Oh, I thought this was about normal. I think it's moving quickly because the group is so small at the moment.

JulienJaden is set to return in four days. I might set up the next scene for him and Aust by then, since I don't plan on them rejoining the party soon. It'll also allow Fireball and the other guy (he registered for the site but I don't know under what name) to begin posting.

Thanks for answering. And sorry yes, you did mention cybernetics. I'm not actually interested in them myself, but I was considering to what extent a physician themed character might also need to be a mechanic or programmer within the same field.

And I agree, a new hire among the cast would make for some good starting material. If you're volunteering, Raid, I look forward to welcoming you with a mix of cordiality and cynicism.

I second Raid's questions. Also, what sort of technology are we looking at? Guns with bullets, guns with lasers, or both? Is there an internet-like network? Cybernetics? Prosthetics?

On that note, I'd also like to throw in my interest. My character began building himself (or possibly herself, as I'll probably pick whatever gender the crew appears to lack) before I'd finished reading all of it.

I'm not very familiar with Firefly, but I know of the concept. I always thought it had interesting potential.

Man, keep forgetting our party is so small at the moment. I think we're just waiting on Errant Son, then Thortimer, then Culluket.

Once we get to the next scene, there will be two more players and less pressure on everyone to post.

For @FateWeaver and @ZB1996, if it's not in character for you guys to join the knight/King party yet, don't feel forced to do so. You can write yourselves doing what you need to for your own survival.

In a desert you'll be in sore need of water, food, and shelter. Not to mention rest, as Annara was at least mildly injured. Beginning your trek along the river to the nearest settlement would be your best option.

I can leap ahead and set up the next scene once ZB/FW posts. We'll all head that way eventually once the other characters take stock of their situation.

Two new player characters, played by Fireball XL5 and one more who will soon be signing up, will be introduced there as well.

I can't answer that for you. Think about what Juna would do, not what's best for the RP.

If it feels like a tough decision, it's supposed to be.
