Welcome players!

My moniker is Lifeline5050, but I am sure by the end of this adventure you will have many more tasteful names in mind to call me. That being said until we reach that point let us start at the very beginning (since that appears to be a very good place to start). I would like to know what you all would like out of this adventure. While this will help me shape the story a bit I hope it will also help you build the characters you wish to play. That being said while I will outline the limits I will have for character creation as I am unsure what each of your experiences is with Pathfinder. That being said feel free to message me with any questions, concerns, or ideas.

Limits
You may choose any class or race from the core rule book.
We will be using a point buy of 25 points.
Your starting gold will be the average starting gold for your class.

Anyone up for a Pathfinder/3.5 game?

Hello everyone,
I am looking for a group of 3-5 players who are interested in playing in a pathfinder/3.5 game of my own creation. I will be taking characters on a first come first serve basis (keep in mind I am available at my computer between 5pm-11pm mountain standard time and I do have a life away from the computer). Now when I say a world of my own creation I do not mean I am inflexible for the people who wish to play. I welcome any and all classes and races from pathfinder. Now you probably are wondering why the 3.5? Well I am open to some feats, races, and classes from 3.5, but since they are too numerous to count (be it for or against) please ask me in advance if I am okay with it. You are probably also wondering why I say 3.5 instead of dnd 3.5. This is to encourage to some degree the use of third party material. So yes I will allow thing from say the wheel of time rpg and the like (please just okay it with me and make sure I can get a copy of what you wish to use). I will also allow the race creation rules, but you are limited to only 10rp (so make it count) and I require a blurb about your race (otherwise I just might make it for you (I will take creative license)). I know it give you all alot of freedom that being said anything you can use I can use; you have been warned. That being said what did I have in mind for this campaign? It's nothing more than a simple fetch and retrieve campaign. Though there is great potential to go many different ways. Here's a bit of what I have planned...

But too those whom return The Book of The Ceciderunt shall be rewarded with, but a single favor from the High Queen Searthie The Bold (May her grace shine forever) herself!"

I will be starting everyone off already knowing each other at level 1 using the point buy system at 15 points. You will all be from the small town of Black Vale. I will mention that this starter town is very much what the characters make it within reason. Also all gold will be as per class average (no gold rolled). If you have any ideas or recommendations I welcome them and take all idea under consideration. Now does this mean the player must follow the main campaign? Not at all. Where ever the character wish to go with the story I will follow.

All that being said...

Anyone still interested in some Pathfinder/3.5?

(If so once enough people show interest I will be creating the OOC board where players can place their CS. I do like to use the Mythweaver CS, but I will accept any online sheet you may have available (even one posted here).)

I have played shadowrun, dnd, pathfinder, vampire the masquerade, and many free form play by post games.
I am looking to get back into play by post and meet some interesting people.
Now while I am looking to DM I wouldn't mind also being a player. (since we all need a break from running games once in a while)

Anyone want to play Desolation?

Hello Everyone!
To those who don't know about Desolation let me give you a quick run down.
The apocalypse just happened 18 months ago where the world was torn asunder by unknown forces which was followed by a winter that lasted nearly a year killing many who barely managed to survive the apocalypse (now known as the night of fire). It is now the era of the first thaw and you and your group of survivors must decide how you are going to survive in this world.
To answer some more basic questions yes this is a fantasy setting with elves, gnomes, and dwarves.
Yes there is magic but it is dangerous to use.
No there is no currency everything runs off a barter system
It uses a ubiquity dice system meaning that you roll your dice and odd numbers are failures and even numbers are successes.
Finally about myself.
Yes I am brand new to these forums so I hope I didn't break any social norms here already and I apologize in advance.
I have roughly a decade of GM experience and am looking forward to running this game no matter how long it happens to last.
I have helped players of all levels and have learned much from my players.
When it comes to Roll vs Role I leave that to the players. I mean if you avoid combat then why roll?
