Okay, so today is March 11th. Three years ago today, there was a 9.0 magnitude earthquake and a tsunami with waves over 30 feet in Japan. Over 10,000 people have been confirmed to be dead, while many others are still missing/presumed dead.

If you haven't guessed, I am Japanese. I live in the United States, but most of my family lives in Japan. When the tsunami happened, Kesennuma--my nother's hometown and where a lot of my friends and family live was where the tsunami hit first. Not only did they experience an earthquake and tsunami, they also experienced a massive fire. My relatives lost their home, and my cousin had o be rescues via helicopter.

I understand that this probably doesn't have much to do with you guys, but it means the world to me and everyone in Japan. Watching my favorite places destroyed on TV was honestly the worst experience I've ever had. Imagine what it was like for the people who experiences the natural disasters.

Although this incident isn't covered by the media anymore, it's still not over. People are still struggling, people are still suffering.

I've made it my life goal to spread the word about the tsunami aftermath, that it's still not over. I've even hav a book published online about it, although it's badly written.

So it would be very much appreciated if you could take a moment to acknowledge the losses experienced three years ago, and the hardships that people are still going through today. It's not over just because the media doesn't cover it.

Thank you for your time!

"Stranger than you dreamt it, can you even dare to look?"

Yuki shrugged out of her sweatshirt to reveal her purple tank top underneath. Gripping the wet sweatshirt in her arms, she twisted it to wring the water out. Some water splashed down into the grass below, and Yuki slipped it over her shoulders again. "It's just water, it'll dry out!" She smiled shyly over at Julie before shrugging. "I'm fine, it's not that big of a deal anyway." Besides for the fact that it's all wrinkly D:< And slightly damp. Ugh. It's uncomfortable and cold. It feels like she's wearing a wet paper towel!

She grasped James' outstretched hand within her own to give the firm handshake that she had learned to give to make a good first impression. Make eye contact, smile. He was pretty cute... Something about that smirk made Yuki want to rip it off of his face though. And throw it to the ground before she stomped the shit out of it. It reminded her too much of... No, no, no, no, no. Stop it Yuki, don't go there. Shhhhhhhh, calm down.

"Well... I don't really know anyone, so it's kind of hard to go up to the crowd..." She murmured quietly, glancing at the two in front of her, then the crowd, before looking down at her shoes. "And I'm not that good at English, so I'm really nervous."

Bravo Yuki, bravo! You're an amazing actress! You didn't get that role in the move for nothing, after all. Pure talent, right there! Let's here it for actress Yuki Sakurai! (Cue fan screams) What other amazing, outgoing girl with no need for any insecurities can pull off a shy girl act? No one! Haha! Besides, Yuki's English is pretty good. She studied hard in Japan so she could maybe someday land an international role.

The idol accepted the orange soda from James gratefully. She happened to be getting thirsty, and orange also happened to be one of her favorites. And it was about time that someone started paying attention to her wants and needs! Good job James, you get a gold star :D She took a sip of the fizzy citrus juice. Mmmm, nice and cold.

"The...Dunk tank?" Yuki asked uncertainly, "You mean that weird thing over there? What's the point of it? Is it scary?"

I have a 4 page paper on comparing different philosophers of my choice at their ideas on morality. At the moment I'm looking to Kantian Deontology. I just need one of the others we've studied. QQ All due next Wednesday.
