A few seconds later, Eva's eyes slowly fluttered open. She gingerly sat up and took a moment to take in her surroundings. Since she didn't get a concussion or anything, and judging from her makeshift pillow, AJ had made sure she didn't die or anything. Eva was pleasantly surprised by his kind actions, she usually fainted when she was alone, and has once woken up under the rain.

"Thanks..." Eva murmured softly, straightening out her clothing and smoothing out the wrinkles. "I just get the occasional random fainting spell, I guess..." Eva actually got examined by doctors multiple times concerning her fainting, and they were not able to come to a conclusion or a diagnosis. She was the only one who knew the truth about it, so it was written off as she sometimes didn't receive enough oxygen in her brain or something. Completely and utter bull.

Sunshine?

Calista stirred in her bed with a soft groan, cuddling more deeply into the soft blankets and pillows. Huh, she must've collapsed into bed last night She was sure that she would wake up hunched over in a chair in front of her computer. Whatever the case, lying in bed was infinitely more comfortable than being upright in a chair--no matter how comfortable her high-tech swively chair was. It's really great, being swathed in multiple pillows and blankets, the soft breeze flowing in, a warm body in her bed...

Still in dreamland, Calista rolled over and curled up against the figure in her bed, her subconscious not finding it weird at all. With a peaceful sigh, she snuggled her face against his chest, her dark hair falling over her face slightly. Pulling the covers over herself more securely, a murmur escaped from her lips. She was having a pleasant dreamless sleep, and even as she began to wake up, Calista fought to stay asleep.

However, when you start waking up, you become at least slightly conscious, and eventually wake up. Her eyes opened slowly and she stared at the stranger right in front of her. Something was wrong. Something was very very wrong. But what? As Calista slowly became aware of her surroundings, the puzzle pieces slowly fit together, bringing together a very alarming situation.

Holy--

Calista tumbled out of the bed with a squeal, landing in a heap on the floor. Tangled in multiple blankets, she had to navigate her way through the mess to sit up. By then, her hair was all messy and she was wide awake. A flood of questions crashed through her mind, so much that she had absolutely no idea where to start.

Where was she? What time was it? What is she wearing? She didn't own that nightgown. And who was in the bed with her?!

Calista scrambled backwards, scooting away with all of the blankets. "W-who are you? Where am I? What's going on!?"

However, even as she uttered those words, Calista thought that she recognized the figure. Where has she seen him before? There was something very peculiar about her situation, and she was getting a sense of deja vu. Why did everything seem so familiar?

Curling up within herself, Calista suppressed the urge to scream and run somewhere. There wasn't a hostile air, and that wouldn't accomplish anything. Still, she was positively shaking, and her eyes darted around everywhere in discomfort.

If you just wanted to make interesting characters you would do normal writing. When you RP, no matter how much you try not to, you wind up in the mindset of the character. It's nearly impossible, and not worth the effort, to keep yourself completely separate.

Done. My post has transformed into a nice ripe period which is probably confused why its not at the end of a sentence. And sorry about that, I saw the reservation list and assumed I just needed a solid word for the ability, and as for the swords and enchantments they were a weakness to the werewolf state and merely added for character depth. But thanks for clearing that up! I can see why that would be confusing. ugh that's a shame! I was wondering why I didn't see any kind of fairies or vampires or anything. I really hope my guy is approved but I understand why he wouldn't be. And yeah I see where everything is supposed to be going, i guess i was just excited to start writing. all in all my bad. rookie mistakes everywhere. i'll fix up the CS and i guess draft up another ability. thank you very much for the help Mizuho!

Creating a Text Based, non dice-based JRPG

I personally think people from different areas would allow a more creative cast, but this would depend on what exactly the plot is.

There actually isn't a "delete post" feature on the new Guild yet. Just go to "edit" and replace your post with a period or something, then re-edit that post with your post once your char has been formally accepted.

Also, if I may offer some advice in your CS.

I don't think that just saying lycanthropy for the ability is quite adequate. Since powers are subjective and have many definitions, you should include an in-depth description carefully outlining what that ability offers to your character.

And for the weaknesses, I don't understand how enchantments and swords would be a weakness. (Nobody has enchantments...) The weakness is supposed to be outlining the limits and weak points of the special ability I believe.

And from what you've written, it seems like you think this roleplay is combat based? Ot ar least invoving some sort of magical combat. It really isn't, although I'm sure some friendly spars and perhaps even an all out fight will occur. (In like a high school, college-esque way, not like a ninja or a fantasy epic kind of way)

And finally, I'm not entirely sure if your character is what Tali is looking for in this roleplay. It has mystical/fantastical implications which I believe she wanted to avoid. From my understanding, this is supposed to be a rather 'realistic' roleplay, not dealing with curses or anything. Just about people who were born with a little extra something.

I'm not saying your character is bad per se, I just don't know if he'll be a good fit for this roleplay specifically. Which is why CS evaluation is important. I actually think you might've gotten the wrong idea of what this roleplay is about, but I could be wrong.

But don't take my words to heart, I have absolutely no authority to say any of this XD I'm just offering you tips as a seasoned roleplayer.

PS Tali, I'm not trying to steal your position or authority as the GM! I'm just trying to help and make things easier on you~ as a person who is GMing an RP, I know how difficult it can be sometimes. Sorry if I went over the line or anything!

Creating a Text Based, non dice-based JRPG

Hmmm, while I feel that this roleplay has the potential to take off, it also had the potential to become an extremely god-modded roleplay as well.

When you say "basing it off if video games", I'm assuming that you mean basing it off the bare essentials that has created the JRPG genre with probably turn-based battles? I guess my question would be: how much of this roleplay will be GM moderated, and how much will be character based?

And in terms of plot, you could go two ways: the traditional "evil is taking over, we have to stop it" plot that is the staple of JRPGs, or you could bring this a completely different direction (although it'll probably be very similar to the former anyway. I personally can't think of anything that'll revolutionize JRPGs) I probably have some ideas in my mind, but I can't seem to recall them at the moment.
