ANBU Member, Katsumi Furyoku

The First Mission.... Starts Now!

And The First Conflict....

Katsumi waited at the gates of the village, she was about half an hour early but there was a reason for that. Gingerly, she took out a scroll, the one where it would summon Fuyu, which she would ask her owl companion to scout ahead a mile or two ahead before everyone arrived. Doing the required handsignals for the summon with the scroll, she watched or rather Fuyu arrive on her waiting arm. "I need you to scout ahead for me, a mile or two is enough for now, can you do that for me?" Katsumi asked, stroking the owls beak before dropping her hand.

"Early now, will go ahead as asked," Fuyu said, stretching out her wings before flying off. Katsumi as Fuyu vanished as she flew further and further away, with a sigh, she waited the half hour before they were all told to meet her here.

The diplomat, Makabe, had a hard time waking up early, but he did as the ANBU woman asked him. A little groggy he got out of bed and went to his morningritual. After having breakfast he went outside and put on his hat, that beared the kumogakure emblem on the side of it. He met with the ANBU woman at the gate at exactly the right time. "well then, what's next?" he asked Katsumi.

Her eyes left the sky as she heard the diplomats voice, raising a single eye brow at his question before turning her eyes back to the sky a distant owl call could be heard, to be exact it sounded like a faint cluck, meaning that it was clear for up to two miles out in the direction of the Snow Country. "Now," Katsumi said, pausing as the four teams of ANBU that were around seventeen arrived, "I give out the orders as to where everyone is assigned to be." Pausing again, as Fuyu came into sight and circled above them without the need to land quite yet, turning to address the ANBU members, she leveled them with a stern look. " Divide yourselves into four groups of four, the odd one, with me and the diplomat. Four in the front, four in the back, four on the left of the gift to the Diamyo and four on the right of the gift for the Diamyo," Katsumi said. Now, finally holding her arm up to signal to Fuyu that she could land, which she did, landing softly on her fore arm.

Without any further warning, Katsumi walked out of the village, a way of saying they were moving without actually voicing it out loud. The four teams of ANBU, followed in their specified formation soundlessly as the Diplomat, Makabe, had a hard time keeping up with the pace they were going at, but Katsumi did not slow down. Nor did she speed up, she simply maintained her pace and kept going. "Fuyu, do me a favor and scout ahead about two miles again, " Katsumi said, with that, Fuyu took flight in the direction they were going as Katsumi slowed the pace a bit. A few minutes later, when they were about two miles from the gates, she stopped. That is until she heard the faint cluck sound again, then she continued to go forwards at the moderately fast pace she was using before.

It would continue like this for about another three hours, sending Fuyu out to look ahead and waiting till she sounded all clear before starting again. But this time, instead of hearing a faint cluck sound, she heard a high pitch screech and halted. "Be on your guard! My owl has alerted me that there are other people in the area," Katsumi said, her eyes narrowed. It wasnt until about a mile further that they ran until the potential hostile group on the same path, stopping she watched them approach with a slightly disinterested expression as she built up chakra in her palms in case things got ugly.

It appeared to be going smoothly, the other group of travellers were showing no interest in her group and everything, until someone started running towards the gift to the Diamyo, the eight ANBU assigned to protect it immediately took action. Katsumi her self was heading towards the hostile and soon one could see spark coming from her hand. But the four ANBU who were assigned to protect the right side had him restrained before she got there.
Chinatsu Hon

Konoha, Team 6

Chinatsu didn't need to knock, she just walked in the room where she was told to meet her Sensei and team mate, eying them both as she studied them. It was obvious that Hiroshi-Sensei was the tallest one and her team mate was the shorter of the two. "Suppose you two are my team?" Chinatsu asked, raising one of her eye brow in question. Turning to her team mate, she had one question to ask her. "Green or red apples?" she demanded to know, promptly pulling out a green and red apple. The red apple was in her right hand and the green one in her left hand. The way she stared at her team mate, was intense, it demanded an answer in a timely fashion. Then she realized something, she had not thought of Hiroshi-Sensei and only had one red apple. She forgot something else, to introduce herself.

"Oh yes, my name is Chinatsu," Chinatsu said, still waiting for an answer. She then turned to Hiroshi-Sensei and frowned. "I only have green apples, so if she takes the red one, you will have to make do with a green apple," she added, looking back to her team mate. She had yet to learn her team mate's name, which was important to know. After all, what was she to call the girl? She put both apples in the same hand, using her free hand to adjust her bow so it sat more comfortably on her back, her sheath was also adjusted so it was not in the way of her mobility. Chinatsu flicked her gaze, seemingly disinterested, at her team mates sword as she caught the name when she was outside and found it rather odd that it had a name other than its technical name of what it is. "Why name your sword? That's silly, you should only name things you are attached to or else its just a useless word assigned to a weapon. You can't introduce a sword to person, either, items aren't people," Chinatsu said, studying her team mates reaction carefully.
It's early, normally I would not say anything but I think that you are really being a bit too harsh in viewing his CS. And it is coming across like you don't want his character or rather you don't want him to have another character. If so, why? This harshness is kind of annoying, and this early in the morning I don't filter what I say, so maybe keep that in mind when you reply?

Thanks so much. :P
Chinatsu Hon

She had an hour, at the moment, before she had to meet her sensei along with her team mate. She had heard from listening to her mother talk about what he had and how nice he was while her father commented every now and then. With a shrug, she packed four apples in her pouch and went to where she kept her weaponry that was her bow and arrow. She had an important choice to make, long bow or the new fancy bow? Well her father did say to always put your best foot forwards, new bow it was. She then got her sheath of her arrows out, polishing them and sharpening them as well.

Standing up, it had been an half hour and her thoughts drifted to her team mate. A somewhat important question popped into her head, would she like green or red apples? She went to the where the apples were and grabbed a red one just in case, an offering of some sort of friendship to this person. Another question, what if her team mate didn't like apples at all? That would be very annoying and very disappointing. What if the team mate didn't like her? She couldn't just shoot them, could she? No, that wouldn't be very purposeful, it would also serve to hinder any mission they went on. Having to carry a dead team mate would slow them down, so better to shoot them in a place that won't kill them. Wait, that wouldn't make the person like her, but it would amuse her.

Sighing, she made her way over to where she was supposed to meet up with her team. Roses are red, violets are blue....
Made the last edit to Chinatsu's CS, she should be good to go now. ^_^

Appearance:

Personality: Chinatsu is a very unpredictable and clever girl. Even her parents can't predict what she'll do next, the only thing about her that is certain is her potential as a Kunoichi. She is easily bored due to her being able to quickly solve problems both on written test and in the field, very few things actually entertain her. Chinatsu can come across as arrogant and condescending, but it really just her elusive and lofty attitude that makes her seem like that. At the same, she can be very thoughtful and sincere, asking questions that don't have a solid answer. Coming up with poems, drawings and songs to express herself when she has free time. Due to her ability to be a quick study, she holds everyone up to that level and if they fall short, she doesn't hold back her disappointment. She has a hard time understanding that she can't control everything, if something goes wrong she blames what she couldn't control but deep inside she is blaming herself. Chinatsu fears very little in life, she is afraid of failure and so she goes above and beyond to avoid that. She is afraid of watching someone she loves die, of not being able to do anything to help and so she usually spends most nights training.

History: Chinatsu was born into the Hon Clan, a very large and prosperous clan that had many different specialities but the three most known were the, Warriors, Politics and Artist. They offered a little bit of everything to the fire country, although they felt a bit used at times. Among the Hon Clan, there are two branches, Royal and Regular. Within the Royal Branch, there is a divided focus and those who can lay claim to being heirs of the founder.

Naeoko who is the mother of Chinatsu and Shoichi the father of the Chinatsu both are apart of the Left side of the Royal Branch, which are the warriors. They met on accident, but soon became friends due to them continually having to work together on mission and this led to them becoming good friends. Eventually, Shoichi and Naeoko married. Three years later, Naeoko was pregnant with Chinatsu. A long nine and half months later, their daughter was born. She was kind of an oddity, being born with two different color eyes.

Chinatsu was often kept away from the busier parts of the Hon Estate, her parents afraid that Katsuro, the current head of clan, would find her to be nuisance even though she was quiet child in the beginning. She always heard his name being thrown around fearfully, he had a reputation for being cruel and harsh to anyone. But Chinatsu wanted to see for herself, so when her parents weren't looking, she snuck away and found herself in the main part of the estate. Where she got her first look at Katsuro, unable to really form any opinion of him she went back to her panicking parents.

Her stubbornness didn't stop there, she still hadn't formed an opinion of Katsuro, so she continued to sneak away and watch him from the shadows. Eventually, she came to the conclusion that he was a sad lonely old man that was misled. She then announced her conclusion to her parents the next day, which caused them to beg her to keep it to herself. She of course, saw no problem with it and shrugged it off, which only made them even more panicky.

Katsuro was only alive another year after that, which was a huge relief to her parents and others, making way to new Head of Clan. She had no interest in investigating Zakito Hon, she didn't feel the need to bother with him and didn't trust him. Even more so when he vanished. About two or three years later, he came back but another year later, the fighting against Shoji began. Most of the Hon, who were old enough were out fighting the forces of Shoji to keep their estate from being used as a strong hold, she was not allowed to fight with everyone but that didn't stop her from trying. She would occasionally, try to sneak in the battle but was only successful once, where she was spotted by one of the enemies. That caused her to have an interest in being a Kunoichi, so she could defend herself better than with a stick.

Soon after that, she declared her interest in becoming a Kunoichi and also her interest in using a bow and arrow. Her father, thankful that she was showing promise, bought her a long bow to start with. Deciding that she needed to start training with it immediately, Chinatsu began to practice with home made targets and to her parents relief, she became accurate in her shooting rather quickly. Around this time, her real training began and soon enough, she was at the same level as most Academy students.

A year later, she was at the level of an Academy graduate and her father bought her a fancy bow with a new set of arrows as a graduation gift. She had also developed two of her very own Jutsu with her lightning chakra nature.

Summons
Team 7, Shisen Inuzuka

Everyone was so adamant about her controlling Arashi and quite frankly, she was starting to get tired of the constant reminders. But she also understood the importance of this mission, the gravity of it and the risk it carried, so for now, she allowed it to slide. She dropped hand, as it connected with Arashi's back, she slid it forward down to her muzzle and then tapped it twice. The message was clear, not a sound. Before removing her hand, she slid it down to Arashi's nose and tapped it once. Another message, use your nose.

The Ninken dipped her head, signifying that she understood before putting her nose to the ground as she started to sniff at it, also sniffing at the air before her hackles rose. Shisen had already concentrated her chakra to her nose as well, catching the scent that was making Arashi uneasy and wary. It smelled really bad, like people, like skin and flesh, that was deteriorating. The realization was enough to make her eyes water, what they were smelling was decaying flesh. " I don't like this, I don't know what exactly is in there but it smells like human flesh is decaying and it's got Arashi uneasy....." Shisen said. Her nose was wrinkled, her eyes were watering as she wiped away the water than escaped them.
Team 7, Shisen Inuzuka

After hearing the briefing, Shisen felt uncomfortable and she began to shift even more so on feet, her mind clouded with doubt. Why were they going on a mission that was so highly ranked? What if they got killed? Arashi's hackles were raised, the discomfort was affecting her too but she growled as she pawed at the ground. Licking Shisen's hand, trying her best to reassure the nervous Genin as best she could. Hearing where she was suppose to be in the formation, she moved to where she was needed. Arashi noticed Ezuri and barked at him, seeing his eagerness and confusing her. Shisen said something barely audible to Arashi who now was sniffing at the air, her tail was wagging a bit.

It was then that both Shisen and Arashi noticed the man, who wasnr wearing a shirt. They both had different reactions to being suddenly startled like that, Shisen jumped back with her eyes wide. Arashi snarled before snapping in his general direction, baring her teeth. Of course, this did nothing to calm Shisen's anxiety of going on this mission. Arashi wasn't so calm, she was now just as on edge as her partner was, which was a bad thing.

" Stay close to me, Arashi... Don't leave me..." Shisen murmured to her Ninken. Arashi licked her hand, quite ready to get going and make her Genin happy again. Turning her attention to Kiyomi, Arashi barked at her, like she was saying to hurry up. Were it for being nervous or excited about a potential hunt, Arashi was ready to go.
Amegakure Jounin, Nazari Sutā

Nazari was on highly on edge, her eyes scanning every surface of the village as she ran at full speed to where she would be joining the fight against the Yonbi. Her mind racing as well, was anyone hurt? Did Shu and Kazen make it to safety? Did the Amekage have a plan? This subject wasn't something that she knew much about, she had always thought that the tailed beast were already sealed away in their human host. But apparently, she was wrong. Arriving at the designated spot, she came to a stop and gazed out in the open as her mind raced ahead. She needed to be smart, not using anything that could hinder the sealing of the Yonbi but also not something that would leave her vulnerable to its attack. With a heavy sigh, she narrowed her eyes in the direction that it would come towards them as she mentally prepared herself for this battle.
Team 7, Shisen Inuzuka

Shisen and Arashi arrived at the training field, seeing Kiyomi and Hayate there along with another person she did not recognize. A second later, she also noticed her sensei, Kensuke and raised an eye brow slightly. Arashi who was not so comfortable with this many people that she barely knew and one that she did not even know, began to growl. Pacing back and forth as Shisen neared Kiyomi, trotting up to her and whining at the proximity between everyone. Dropping her hand, Shisen ran down the length of Arashi's back to calm the ninkens nerves and hopefully avoid anyone trying to agitate her. "Morning Kensuke-Sensei, Kiyomi, Hayate, Shisen greeted calmly.

Going to stand a bit further from there for Arashi's sake and their sake, she sighed and waited for the reason they were meeting up to be announced to them. She still looked tired, a bit unsettled and restless as she waited for the next thing. Arashi was quite restless as well, growling every now and then, her eyes narrowed at everyone but Shisen.
