Walt Disney High School isn’t your average public school. Located in the sunny city of Orlando, Florida, the outside looks just as normal as any other public education institution. But the actual students are some pretty interesting characters. It seems like there’s new drama every day of the week. Whether it’s the nerdy hipster girl and her abusive boyfriend arguing in the hall, or bumping into those snobby sisters with the crazy mom, life at Disney High is never dull.Another summer is over, and another term has started. What kind of crazy things will happen this year?
Alright! This is the basic idea here: modern-day Disney characters going to a modern-day high school. Pick a Disney character and modernize them! Make up a background story (for example, Alice is a freshman with Schizophrenia or a drug problem, Belle is a book-lover with a single father and an abusive boyfriend, etc.) Be creative!
I would like for this to be a little more mature than Disney movies actually are but also fairly lighthearted! I don’t mind sad or somewhat angtsy background stories, but we should have fun too! In other words, this RP shouldn’t be really depressing. If you have any questions just PM me!
I guess you could call this a slice-of-life but if anyone has an idea for an overall plotline we could follow just let me know! Maybe we could use some of the villains :)

Optional, but recommended Here's a list of classes you might find useful for the grade your character is in
(This is based off of classes I had to take for my high school, so if you have any suggestions on an essential class for a certain grade or some extracurricular class please just let me know!)
English(could be an honors English class)
Algebra I(can be a higher math class if you're character is more advanced)
Biology
First year Language class (Spanish, French, German)

Second year of a language or the first year of a language depending on if you took one of these classes your first year
A Health or Fitness class

Algebra II(or a higher math class)
Whichever math class you didn't take the year before (Chem or Physics)
U.S. History or Advanced U.S. History

Psychology

If you think of anything else, just make the suggestion!
5th period is when Lunch begins, and it ends after 8th period. So you will have either 5th, 6th, 7th, or 8th period lunch.
If you make a schedule, you should have 10 classes total including Lunch, so choose 9.NOTE: When it comes to friends/love interests/family, if you want to you can keep them in the story line and they can be sort of like a NPC. Like, if you were to play someone like Tiana from the princess frog, then you can also use her best friend Charlotte in that character's plot. Unless someone decides to play that character then you must have permission to write anything about them.
My Character Sheet!
Name: Aurora Dormer
Nickname(s): Ari
Age: 16
Grade: 11th Grade (Junior)
Appearance:
Personality: She's normally very kind and open-minded. She's very adventurous and will sometimes spontaneously drive an hour out to the closest beach. Ari is very intelligent and curious, but also creative and imaginative. It's somewhat hard to get close to Ari due to the fact that she's scared to be abandoned or left behind. However, the friends she has let in she is fiercely loyal to. She often stays up late on school nights, so you'll usually find her walking into school with coffee every morning.
Background: Ari had been born and raised in Colorado, but before the start of her first year of high school her parents decided to move up north to Georgia. She threw so much of a fit that her parents worked out a deal with her aunts that she could stay with them until she finished high school. Ari had no problem with this as she had spent most of her life being babysitter by them anyway due to the fact that her parents often left to travel the world (without her). By the time she was in middle school, she felt very disconnected to the people she called her parents causing her to become more rebellious as she felt she didn't NEED to listen to them. If anything, they only gave in to her fit over moving because maybe it would lift the burden of having to leave a child at home while they were in another country. Once they moved away, Ari moved from a large mansion to a small house that could barely fit four people. However, she was happy with the situation and experienced perhaps more freedom than she should have. By the time her sophomore year came around, she was sneaking out to go to parties, smoking weed before school, and skipping class to hang out with her friends (or catch up on some sleep!). Because of this, her latest report card has witnessed a decline in the normally average grades. She receives the scare of her life when her parents threaten to make her move out to South Carolina if her grades, and her behavior, don’t improve. So, this school year she’s determined to do better in order to stay with her beloved aunts.
Hobbies/Facts/Orientation: Ari loves to sing and would love to be a musician or a famous actress on Broadway. You can usually catch her snoozing in the back of class or in the nurse’s office (you know, “cramps). She is a participant in the theatre program at school, and likes to be part of every play. She hasn't really dated a lot of people, but all the people she's been with in the past have been boys. But she's still very open minded.
