Alvin wore a very sad smile as he looked upon his father for the last time before turning away, he knew it was entirely possible that he wouldn't see any of them ever again. These men had been his mentors, his parents, his guardians and his friends. The young Prince felt himself start to choke up but he quickly composed himself, a prince must never show his emotions, he told himself.

He couldn't help but smile at the three's nonchalant attitude about the situation, about how despite the odds they believed they'd win. Alvin heard the whooshing and metallic slicing and looked up just in time to see and catch the apple flying towards him. He examined it, just the right shade of red, oh how he loved apples. "Right, always poison test the apples, I'll keep that in mind." Without sparing any of them a glance Alvin mounted his Wyvern, deft hands gripping the reins and locating the lance within it's mount on the saddle.

"Come Medea, let us show these Jehannans what a Grado Wyvern Knight can do. Heyah!" With a roar Medea half flew, half hopped out of the throne room, turning west around the corner and into the hall with the rest of his allies. He made his way past the tapestry on the wall and over towards where he saw his best friend Marwood engaged with a few soldiers.

However as he drew his lance to join in, an odd sight caught his eye. There was what appeared to be a Frelian Pegasus Rider helping him, Alvin couldn't help but wonder who she was and what she was doing here so he decided to ask. "Hail Pegasus Knight, those are the colors of Frelia if I'm not mistaken, Prey tell, who are you and why are you here at such an hour?"

(I'm behind Lexa if that wasn't clear.)
I'll wait to see if Platinum posts something for Rioga or the other two Generals before I go again. Also is there anything in close proximity left to fight or have you guys got it all under control?
Alvin would likely press the matter of escape above all else.
Alvin was standing stock straight before his father who was undoubtedly giving some speech. However it felt as if cotton had been stuffed in the prince's ear and he really only caught every third word. Jehanna was invading, heck they were already at their doorstep. Alvin suggested to his father that diplomacy was the only real option but the Emperor had shut him down with a knowing look. Then his father called a lot of people to the throne with some sort of mission, Alvin made dang sure that Calico would be serving drinks at that time, that way she'd hopefully get to go and survive what was going to be a very dark day.

Aldo came out from somewhere and Alvin was somewhat relieved to see him, he didn't know the mage that well but he was a pleasant person, if a little stuck up. Alvin took a sharp breath as he could see with perfect clarity the entire battlefield, halls he'd walked his whole life swarming with men intent to do harm.

Eventually his father held out the Sacred Stone, the Fire Emblem, in his outstretched hand towards him. Alvin put his hand on the stone and held it there, looking into the Emperor's eyes. "Father.....I..." His resolve was faltering, he wanted nothing more then to mount Medea and fly away with everyone present, all the friends he'd made. But he knew that was impossible, finally he found the words he was looking for. "I will protect it with my life."

With that he took the stone, it felt warm in his hand, and pulsating. Almost as if whatever the stone's purpose it yearned to be used. Finally he stuffed it in his pocket, looking over at Marwood to his right, his trusted friend. At least they were to take on this mission together.

He turned towards his father one last time, a knife in the pit of his gut telling him this would likely be the last time he would ever see him. "Don't thrash 'em too hard." A fake smirk gracing his features, he looked to Nero and Garric. "Same goes for you two troublemakers, these guys don't stand a chance against the three of you, give them some kind of handicap." With that he looked around at the group gathered, he looked each one in the eyes. "Well you all have the map, we make for the western gate."
Aw, no cool FE style status screen thing for me? ;-;

In anycase everything looks fine to me, I'm ready to go.
I wake up to pictures of bunnies... I approve of this.

Yeah seriously, O_o

I petty much PMed everyone who had a character with ties to Grado, I like to intertwine my character as much as possible. Siblings could always be half siblings, it's not entirely out of the realms of possibility.

I WILL ALWAYS LOVE APPLES!

aaand Natalia, you've got pretty much free reign with her, though I think it's hilarious we've now established this quad of young royalty that are all known to each other. Skittles will HAS likely use USED Natalia in a similar fashion as I, so that's something to keep in mind.

Eh, an image wouldn't be that hard to find, right?
Here it is in it's entirety, if I need to find a picture or something or if anything is amiss just let me know.

@Lionheart I can't wait! I'm glad Marwood will have have a friend. Oh yeah, we should discuss that because Renais and Grado have always been close nations so would they be friends or something?
