It's a martial swiss army knife. Any form of conventional armament, it doesn't like replicate so it can't copy it just is. Standard weapons and armor mainly. I'd imagine he can call it to him somehow or generate it, and I assume he can alter it at will., whether he's in contact with the weapon or not.

I'm interested so I've prepared a Doll. I think I'll wait on making a Doll Master until I get an example sheet. Here's what I got.

Doll

Name: Garret
Gender: Male
Appearance: A tall man standing about 6'2". He has dark blue eyes and neck length brown hair that's swept back, resembling a mane. He is a rather muscular man, remaining in peak physical form. His unshaven face bears creases that come from smiling too often, as well as a few small scars.

Personality: Garret is solid, spirited, caring. He is quite the jovial man, quick to smile and laugh, friendly to all he meets and doesn't hesitate to help those in need, a true knight. His interests lay in protecting the human populace from the Puppeteers and their Marionettes.

Abilities: None, aside from being the epitome of martial power. Fast, strong, durable, quick thinking and above all experienced. His battle tested mind is able to chart a course through any encounter effectively planning ten steps ahead while in the middle of an ongoing fight.

Weapons: Proteus.
Proteus' true form is that of a glob of liquid metal that shapes into whatever it's wielder wills it whether it be a weapon, armor, or a combination of both. It is ice cold to the touch and will never separate from it's bearer, additionally it can gain a will of it's own should the wielder fall unconscious. It's wielder can alter Proteus' physiology at any time, meaning he can throw it as a javelin then alter the head to that of a morning star after it has pierced the flesh. The limits being that Proteus itself will only become armaments suitable for combat, since it has a will of it's own, none have been able to determine why this is.

Proteus can alter it's shape into that of any other armament from a longsword to a halberd, hammer to axe, greatsword to rapier, it can even form a suit of armor. As such it grants it's wielder great versatility, though only if the user is proficient with many weapons. However, in all it's forms it retains a few key characteristics.
-All forms are made of the same material, some form of steel or silver with golden etchings.
-There are runes etched into the blade or body of all forms, easily identifying the weapon.

I'm interested, tentatively. I can post a couple times a week, I can't promise once a day though. I've got a few ideas for characters, and I'm looking forward to a FE play. Also there's gonna be supports and stuff right? I love character interaction.

So is this open for another person? I'm interested. I've only played Origins and Awakening, loved it to death but I've been putting off playing 2. Anyway I've got a few ideas for characters just want to make sure you guys are still open.

My knowledge of DS2 lore is minimal, I haven't started my studies yet. So playing in the era of the gods could be cool, and I'd be be up for it.

The spacing in time is speculated based on numerous item descriptions. The description of the Sunlight Parma or Sun Sword can be used as a good base for the speculation as both imply that the covenant and it's members are very old and nearly forgotten. As a matter of fact the Lightning Spear miracle itself references a large span of time, it's description reads: "A miracle that launches a spear of lightning. Said to be the legacy of an ancient clan whose leader was revered as the God of Sun. The name of the clan has been lost to time, but the gross incandescence of our magnificent father shall never wane.". Lost to time, kinda makes you wonder. Anyway I'm in agreement about excluding Dark Souls II lore/story, there's really no need to involve it.
